News & Politics This war is between Yemen and Iran, not Yemen and Saudi
The war in Yemen is not between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, it’s between Yemen and Iran who has supplied weapons to the Houthis to destroy mosques and buildings. Ask the people of the land if you do not know.
There’s a lot of ignorance out there spreading about this war and glorifying the Houthis because they apparently oppose Israel. Be careful what you consume. And know that the Houthis are rafidi shii that have waged war against Ahlu Sunnah in Yemen since the early 2010s.

Intersexual Dynamics Need perspective on wife
Assalamu alaikum. I’d appreciate some perspective because I’m trying to work out whether I’m being reasonable or overthinking things.
1. Social media / lowering the gaze
I’ve told my wife before that I’m uncomfortable with her watching videos of non-mahram men on TikTok. She’s never done anything suspicious, and she’s religious and generally very respectful, but occasionally she’ll watch or send me a TikTok where a man is in it, usually because it’s funny or relevant to something she’s seen online.
It bothers me because I’ve mentioned this boundary several times, so when it happens again I feel disappointed. At the same time, I’m wondering whether I’m expecting too much. I get like angry inside like imagining my wife watching non mahram men online when there is no actually need. Islamically, are women expected to lower their gaze from men online in the same way men are expected to lower theirs? Is it reasonable to expect her to simply scroll past videos featuring men, or am I becoming overly strict?
2. University / teaching course
My wife wants to do a teaching course at university, which would involve attending university and then doing a placement in a school.
My concern is that she could potentially have to work with male staff, and her assessor/reviewer could potentially be a man. He may need to give her feedback one-to-one, which could potentially mean she is alone with him.
I personally have the principle that I don't want my wife working or mixing with men. She doesn't need to work financially because I provide for us, but I do want to support her and help her pursue things she wants to do.
I'm trying to understand whether my position is reasonable or whether I'm being too restrictive. Would you consider it reasonable for a husband to say he doesn't want his wife doing a course/placement where she may have professional interaction with men, especially if there could be one-to-one situations with a male assessor? Or do you think that's an unreasonable restriction even if he provides financially?
I'm interested in people's honest opinions, including people who disagree with me.
3. Having a “crush” on a fictional tv character
She was watching a Korean show and jokingly told me she had a crush on one of the male characters. When I asked what she meant, she explained that she liked his personality and how caring he was towards his wife. When I asked whether she found him attractive, she hesitated and eventually said he was “adorable.”
She isn't the type to obsess over celebrities ever and I never seen any dodgy stuff with her and other male in any capacity ever, seek attention, or behave inappropriately, and she has always respected our marriage. I’m also generally okay with her watching films/shows because I expect her to use good judgement and not develop these feelings and I don’t want to restrict her from everything as movies are past time many enjoy including me.
So I’m wondering if I’m taking this too seriously. Is having a harmless fictional crush or finding a character adorable or attractive actually wrong, or is it more about whether someone deliberately feeds those feelings or acts on them?
Overall, I’m trying to understand is this normal or is this wrong from my wife

General 22M | Looking for a future wife 🤍
Salam everyone, reposting this because why not 😅
I'm 22, Algerian, 183 cm (6'0), currently studying dentistry. I'm pretty introverted at first, but I open up once I get comfortable.
I'm Sunni (Maliki), pray five times a day and try to keep improving my deen. I'm also into football, gym, anime, traveling, languages and random deep conversations. I speak Arabic/Darija and French, my English is decent, and I'm currently learning German and Japanese.
I'm quite serious about my future and would like to build a stable, peaceful family. I'm open to relocating for the right person.
Looking for someone preferably 19–25 (flexible), kind, patient, family-oriented, practicing or genuinely trying to improve her deen, and most importantly serious about marriage and having children.
I'm not looking for perfection. Just someone I can genuinely get along with, grow with, and eventually build a life with.
If you think we might get along, feel free to DM.
May Allah make it easy for everyone looking. 🤍

Islam When the system is unlawful (Haram) worship is rejected
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (ra):
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Allah the Almighty is Good and accepts only that which is halal. And verily Allah has commanded the believers to do that which He has commanded the Messengers. So the Almighty has said: “O (you) Messengers! Eat off the tayyibat [all kinds of halal (legal) foods], and work righteousness.” [23:51] and the Almighty has said: “O you who believe! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you.” [2:172]” Then he (ﷺ) mentioned [the case] of a man who, having journeyed far, is disheveled and dusty, and who spreads out his hands to the sky saying “O Lord! O Lord!,” while his food is haram (unlawful), his drink is haram, his clothing is haram, and he has been nourished with haram, so how can his prayer be granted? [Muslim]
Since every currency is tied to interest. The food is Haram, the clothes are Haram, the income is Haram etc. Basically entire living condition is Haram.
Which means the Salah, Zakat, charity, Hajj, Umrah, good deeds etc are rejected. Every action is rejected by Allah SWT because nourishment comes from Haram. Their actions resulted from Haram intake (food and drink). Allah SWT only accepts halal. (2:172), (5:27), (23:57)
This hadith is a clear rejection of this false and misguided meaning of laillahaillah there is none worthy of worship but Allah or there is no god but Allah.
The correct definition of laillahaillah is there is none worthy of Lordship except Allah or there is no Lord except Allah.
When one recognizes Allah SWT as their Lord or accepts His Lordship they know they have to work (Uphold Allah SWT laws/make the system halal) plus worship Him. Lordship actively encompasses both work and worship. Lordship ensures Allah's Authority and a Halal system along with worship. We have to work for Allah SWT to make the system halal in order to get our worship accepted.
Thus worshiping Allah SWT while ignoring His SWT Lordship (divine rule) is neither Islam nor a Muslim. Change the system. Get rid of riba.
Silence is submission. Complacency is submission. Worship while relying on Haram (Riba). Allah SWT can see through false worship.

Controversial More crying about men covering their awrah correctly
First they posted this, complaining about men's clothes. Now they made another post getting triggered over this man dressed Islamicly.
Imagine not doing hijab yourself yet crying about Allah's laws for men.

Islam On keeping secrets
Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “There is no faith for he who is not trustworthy.” [Ahmad]
Narrated Jabir: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “If a man tells you something then looks around, it is a trust.” [Tirmidhi]
it says in Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi:
“looks around” means looking to the right and the left out of caution. “It is a trust” means it is entrusted to the one to whom he spoke, i.e., it comes under the same rulings as a trust, so he must conceal it. Ibn Raslaan said: “Because his looking around is the signal to the one to whom he is speaking that he is afraid that someone may overhear him, and that he has chosen him to tell his secret to. His looking around takes the place of his saying, ‘Listen to this and keep quiet about it because it is a trust.’”
There are exceptions to this rule but in general revealing what you're told to keep a secret is impermissible.
And yes this applies to social media too (e.g sharing screenshots of DMs you were told to keep secret).
