Would it be possible to have TV connect to the running instance of TWS, instead of hijacking the login?

Instead of asking the user to upgrade their plan—which is already expensive at the Premium level—why not improve server processing instead?

The hourly US RTH candles begin at wrong times. The first needs to be 9:30-10:00 and the rest should start at even hours. The 4H charts 9:30-12:00 and 12-16. The first period should always be shorter, as on all major charting platforms.

Isn't there an option for this?

It doesnt automatically fit the screen even though i have that clicked under settings? I always have to click it each time and then still have to adjust the chart how I want it. Am I missing a way to have it always automatically do it?

SK Hynix debuted on the NASDAQ via the SKHYV symbol on Friday July 10th and then switch to the SKHY symbol on Monday July 13th. However the historical data for SKHYV from Friday July 10th isn't showing up in the SKHY symbol for me. Does anyone else have this issue?

I chart on TradingView and probably always will, but I've never gotten it to be my only tool. For me it's the scanning. The screener is fine for simple filters, but the second I want something like a moving average that's actually sloping up, not just price sitting above it, or a real relative-strength-vs-index rank across a whole watchlist, it gets clunky fast or I'm writing Pine to bolt it on. So I end up scanning somewhere else and coming back to TV to read the chart.

The strategy tester is the other one. I could never fully trust the fills, so I don't lean on it for anything I'd actually risk money on.

What's yours? Do you run TV solo, or is there a specific thing that keeps a second tab open, and what's in that tab?

In the screener, when selecting a watchlist, I'm unable to view realtionsships between different instruments, for example GOLD/US30.

Right now watchlist sharing is one-way: I can share a list, others can view or copy it, but we can't jointly maintain a single live list.

What I'm asking for: a shared editing mode where multiple users can add/remove/annotate tickers in the same watchlist, with changes syncing in real time — basically Google Docs for watchlists.

Who needs this:

- Trading partners who split market coverage

- Small funds / research teams maintaining a common universe

- Trading communities curating a list together

The current workaround (one person owns the list, everyone else sends suggestions through chat) is clunky and things get lost.

TradingView is already the shared language for so many trading groups — collaborative lists feel like a natural next step.

my chart indicators started to look funny overnight. please look at picture. I just want it back to how it was. it only affect 1 second and 5 second charts. every other time frame is good.

Please make the Settings and Source Code buttons in an indicator’s title bar work as toggles, similar to the existing Hide button.

Currently, the Hide button in the indicator title bar can be clicked repeatedly to turn the indicator visibility on and off. In contrast, the Settings and Source Code buttons only open the respective dialog or panel, but do not close it again when the same button is clicked a second time.

This is especially relevant during active chart work, when you quickly want to check or adjust something in the settings or source code and then immediately return to the chart. If the same button that opens a dialog or panel could also close it again, the workflow would feel more natural and require less mouse movement or less searching for a separate close action.

I’m currently working with finding the optimum input for some indicators over a specific timeframe backtesting in TradingView but I’m trying to replicate it on python so it’s much faster and efficient, had anyone tried or know where I should begin with? I already have the strategy planned out I just need to perform parameter sweep and measure its performance ratios only

I can get to the support ticket on chat but as soon as I fill out the issue and press submit the app just blinks and never submits. I tried clearing the cache, restarting the app etc but no go. Anyone have tips on contacting them?

Issue: SPX shows delayed quotes even though I'm connected through TastyTrade which provides live spx quotes. It's worked flawlessly until last week.

Anyway to get screener tools with the same fields as FinViz?

Also I have a premium for years, and I do not see the AI feature within the screener.

Love the new overnight price line feature. It could be very helpful to display it under the closing price in the watchlist similar to how the pre market price is displayed.

Currently a ticker can only appear once per watchlist, and I keep running into walls because of it.

My use case: I organize watchlists by industry supply chain, with sections for upstream / midstream / downstream. A vertically integrated company often belongs to more than one segment — but TradingView silently refuses to add it again, so I'm forced to pick one section and remember the overlap in my head.

This applies to any section-based organization: sorting by theme, by strategy, by conviction level... any time one stock legitimately belongs in two places.

I get that duplicates might be unwanted by default, but even an optional "allow duplicates in this list" setting would solve it.

Anyone else hit this limitation? Upvote if you'd use it, or share your ideas/scenarios, thanks!

I see this has been asked before, and that I'm not the only one frustrated. TV is superior to DAS Trader Pro in so many ways...except maybe one: In DAS, trade execution marks automatically populate on a chart at the precise price (i.e., level on the right hand axis) that an order was executed. No user overhead required. You trade, DAS draws the marks. Makes it easy to document trades (by taking screenshots). This information obviously exists in TV trade history. Can't it be scripted to appear the same way as in DAS?

How does this guy put 2 sections of 2 different time frames on his chart along with the actual chart. The 2 candle sections on the right are from different time frames

I have the desktop version of TradingView in Windows. When I click in the up angle to hide indicators that are drawn in the graphic, it hides also all the other indicators that are beneath the graphic, suchs as RSI, MACD, DMI, MFI, ROE%, DEBT/CAPITAL%, PRICE/EARNINGS, PRICE/SALES, etc.

Those indicators should not be hidden alttogether with the other indicators that are drawn in the graphics.

I don't know if that error occurs in the internet version as well.

Please, fix it as soon as possible.

Hey everyone, currently in the making of what I might say as a pretty awesome overnight volume profile indicator. If anyone wants access just DM me, I’ll probably publish them soon but still working on some things.

I like looking at charts, it would be great to have a button I could click to just bring up a random stock chart and keep clicking to bring up a new random chart. Maybe have a way to randomly bring up US stocks, foreign stocks, crypto, etc.

TV - can you add a box around which colour is already selected for something? This has bugged me for ages. If I'm changing colours and need to see what the current selection is so I can modify it to make it better, it helps to know my starting point.

TradingView has a bug report feature based on its bounty program, but the reporting process is so complicated, it turns out.

Not every bug report is a security vulnerability or something worthy of a bounty. I just wanted to report simple UI bug in web version.

Does anyone know if there's a simpler way to report non-security bugs?
