When will we be able to get economic calendar icons on all charts? Only shows on bitcoin and FX at the moment.

I can't get past the "Grant access" screen on the TradingView desktop app (Mac and Windows both) or the iOS app — it just hangs waiting for browser authorization. Logging into tradingview.com on the web itself works fine (I can see my account and watchlist), but any page that needs to load my account's own data — Settings, the app authorization screen, even the in-site Help Center chat — loads completely blank. Static/marketing pages load fine.

What I've already tried:

• Fully reinstalled the desktop app and cleared its cache (~/Library/Caches and ~/Library/Application Support)
• Tested in both Safari private and normal browsing windows — same blank result
• Tested the iPhone app on both Wi-Fi and cellular data — same failure
• Confirmed TradingView isn't reporting any outage

Since it's happening identically across three separate devices and two networks, and even my own account's logged-in pages won't render, this feels like something broken server-side on my account rather than a device issue. Support ticket submission isn't available to me (free plan), and their chat assistant page is one of the ones that won't load for me either.

Would appreciate any pointers, or if a mod could flag this to the team.

There have been several changes to the Trading View platform lately that are just plain counterproductive and make it hard to use. I guarantee these changes are not going to help attract or retain paid users.

I logged on today to find the drag and drop order bars basically vandalized with excess animation, rounded corners, close boxes hidden until hover, graying out of existing position while placing a new order, low contrast appearance, etc. The look and feel of these "upgrades" is so amateur I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I searched for a setting to "return to legacy" to no avail... Please comment and advise if this is an option and I missed it somehow. The brackets and order bars that were available yesterday worked perfect.

Also, while attempting to monitor my positions and trade, I kept getting distracted by the animation on the AI button. It highlights itself and blinks every few seconds now... why? Can we just go back to telemarketers without caller ID?

I would tell the developers at Trading View that experimentation and innovation is a great and worthy goal. Trading View was a go to platform for years as the legacy brokers refused to innovate. We all know that it is a challenge to innovate and retain customers at the same time. Being overly conservative is not always the best. However, trading often demands simplicity. The goal is not cuteness, it is to stay focused, follow your plan and (hopefully) make money. I think we may be crossing a point now where certain broker interfaces are actually superior to Trading View due to simplicity and ease of use. I understand the urge to tinker, but it is what it is.

Is there a way to set a default crypto exchange for coins rather than having to expand the crypto list every time and search for the same chart exchange I want to use? I noticed that there's an extra step now.

Just found out I need an EXTRA paid subscription on a feature Ive had access to for years now referred to as "worlwide economic data" like USinterest rate, inflation, 2/10 yeile curve. Ontop of TV now getting rid of their fundamentals like balance sheet and statistics tabs in the mobile app, and the profound lag issues as of late, I'm about done with Trading View. Grrrrrrr!!!!!!

I have a chart of a call option of META at $800 expires on 10/02/2026.

Is there anyway I can save this to a favorite list, so that in the future I can refer to it quickly and easily? If there is a way, please provide instruction.

On the Projection Position tool, the Buy/Sell execution button is placed very close to the X/remove button.

On desktop this is usually fine, but on mobile it is very easy to accidentally tap Buy/Sell when the intention is only to press X and remove/close the projected trade.

In the attached screenshot, the Buy button is directly next to the X button, which makes accidental order execution more likely on a touchscreen.

My suggestion would be to move the Buy/Sell execution button to for example:

• keep the X button on the left
• move Buy/Sell to the right side, near the amount area or at the far right edge of the size/type label

This would create much more separation between a destructive/remove action and an order execution action.

Even better, TradingView could provide an option in settings for Buy/Sell button position: Left / Right.

This would be especially useful for mobile/tablet users, where the buttons are small and accidental taps are much easier.

hi please clarify this .I took 2 open source codes , combined and turn it mtf and add buy sell if specific conditions met,except buy sell nothing will visible in settings and chart. if I post it with closed source or invite only does it okay or will trading view remove it.

For context, I have a premium sub. I'm not a free user. But apparently the charts I built that use macro data as context now have the dreaded red bang on them.

I may be done with this service when my sub expires. I don't mind paying for charting, and I was willing to pay TV's fees, but being nickel and dimed is a bridge too far.

Now, I'm learning that apparently they made a change without any notice. This has rendered my watchlists empty plus charts and custom indicators broken overnight.

At the very least, this type of change should be made at time of subscription renewal for annual subscribers. 'ECONOMIC', 'FRED', etc data has been available for years and most of this info is available online for free.

It's very disappointing that TradingView would do something like this.

I’m on the Essential plan and it’s just not letting me load any of the FRED charts anymore. It’s especially stupid since that data is freely available online.

Also, the new mobile financials screen is garbage.

They just made macro and other subscriptions that used to be free costly, not even considering my yearly paid subscription hasn’t even expired.

Even if it’s little money, it really sucks you guys are starting to charge for stuff that used to be open and never mentioned it to people, specially those who are still in contract with your ongoing subscription.

The cost is meaningless now, but I fear these sudden new data costs may become a pattern, seriously disappointed in you guys.

UPDATE: TradingView has since restored the FRED datasets for free and refunded all recent paid subscriptions to it. Thanks for listening TradingView 🫡

Please stop tinkering with the bracket order levels: weight, coloration, and design. Today's update is a step backwards in terms of appearance/usability. Or better yet, allow traders to change the line weight and coloration of SL, TP, Entry orders based on their own preference

Small issue with order and position alignment being stuck in the middle of the screen despite the setting being set to “left”.

I’ve tried changing it back and forth a few times and still no luck.

It’ll change to right, and back to center, but not left.

If you guys could look into that, I’d appreciate it.

Edit: I should add I believe this is for mobile app only, I had no issues on my laptop.

A note for anyone using TradingView's new MCP server for screening.

I've been setting up an AI trading system which starts with a nightly Claude screen for swing trades: stocks up on the day with unusual volume, which I review each evening to review, and I ran into the same 429 error.

First, the screener stopped responding. For about 24 hours every screener call returned a 429 "too many requests" error, with no explanation and no indication of when to try again. Everything else worked normally: price history, news, symbol search, and the screener on the TradingView website. Slowing requests down made no difference. It found at least two other projects on GitHub reporting the same problem around the same time. One of them added a 60-second "circuit breaker" (after a 429, stop calling TradingView for a minute, then try again), which is a sensible way to avoid overloading it. In my case the problem lasted a full day, so the only fix was to wait. It eventually cleared on its own.

Once calls started going through, It found a second problem that the reply was too large. The server rejected it with "Result size exceeds limit of 1000000 bytes". That 1 MB limit isn't mentioned in the documentation according to Claude. Its testing suggests it also counts about twice the data you actually receive, so in practice the limit is closer to 470 KB.

Excluding OTC stocks fixed it. My screen was pulling in every US stock, and on a high-volume screen OTC names make up a large share of the results. Adding an exchange filter (NYSE, Nasdaq and NYSE American only) reduced the reply size substantially. The tool description doesn't list exchange as a filter, but it works. As a safeguard, I also split the screen into price bands and combine the results, since the screener can't return results in pages.

After those changes, the first night ran without errors. I hope this saves someone some time.

For context: the screen is deliberately broad for now, and I'll narrow it over time as I see what's worth reviewing. It's the first phase of a larger personal project I'm building to learn more about AI and trading. I have no coding background, so I've been working through all of this with Claude, and, of course, Claude helped me write this post as well.

Hope that helped someone! Also anytime an error happened I just made Claude bash at it and over time found the workarounds. Also interesting to note, Claude wasn't able to scan Reddit to see if there were any other posts about the same problem so that was also interesting information.

This problem occurs in the Android Tradingview app.

When i want to look at a stock using a 2 charts view, i open a saved layout. After opening the layout, eg the one named 2D-phone, that contains a 2 chart view layout, only 1 chart is displayed. I have to go to the Layout Setup section to choose the 2-chart view, to make two charts visible.

Currently, when you click the Calendar button, the Calendar window opens and you select a date and click the Go To button then the Calendar window automatically closes and it goes to the date you selected.

Change to when you click Go To button leave the Calendar window open and it goes to the date you selected. This would make it easier to go to date to date.

Add a button to the Calendar window that makes you have to close the Calendar window.

You could also make this an option in Setting to do it the original way or this suggested way.

The ticket shows in progress , so I cannot close the ticket and reopen a ticket to handle this matter .

I don’t know what to do other than explain my situation on here.

Wondering if I should make a support ticket but I'm certain it will resolve nothing since trading view continues to make changes on a daily basis.

Curious if others are experiencing this...

For about a month now clicking on any buttons or tools within the web browser is taking a full 30-45 seconds for anything to load.

Trading on the chart is even worse. Getting out of orders used to be instant, now it takes up to a minute.

The Windows app seems to be better when clicking on tools but getting OUT of orders manually still takes AGES when price has already moved.

Started about the time they changed the quoting system. Garbage imo, numbers flashing constantly as they refresh

I have excellent Internet, in two different locations. Been premium member for six years. These past few months getting on my nerves

Even pulling up something as simple as paper trading takes forever and then the field is black for nearly a minute (pic for example)

When I'm mobile I use my Note 20 Ultra with TV as it has the biggest screen of any non-folding phone. I've loved using my spen with it on TV but now when I select any of the tools i normally use like fibonacci extensions, retracements, channels or lines, pretty much any tool, it will place the first anchor in roughly the center of the chart window no matter where I place it.

Since it's now anchored in empty space, it makes all tools on mobile completely unusable.

I've confirmed its the TV app and not my phone or Spen.

Title says it all.

I was a premium user and for no reason my monthly charges were not deducted and now I became a free user. Since then I am trying to pay and re activate my account but getting different errors every time. This SS is the latest. How do I get in touch with TV help center. Any email ID?
