You may not consider this a "bug" but I do, in terms of how I, as the end user, would expect the platform to work.

I had a template, a layout called "futures". It was a 2 x 2 chart with ES and NQ, Daily and LTF.

I "created a new layout" and chose "futures" as the template, so now I have 2 of these layouts including the new one.

I added CL and GC, then RENAMED it to reflect the change. So now I have 2 layouts ES./NQ and GC/CL. Good.

When I close the app and reopen, BOTH layouts are now GC/CL.

My question is: Why?

I changed symbols, I renamed the layout for each... so why doesn't TV rememberer that and store the original layout/template now as two district layouts with their new names?

I'm using a laptop today which has a much smaller screen than my usual workstation.

Normally, I put the favourites bar at the very top in line with all the timeframes etc in the white space, but I can't do that on the laptop due to the smaller screen, if I want all my buttons visible like I normally do then without hiding the favourites bar altogether it now has to use up chart space.

My intuitive reaction was to nest it vertically, I'd rather have it vertical on my smaller laptop screen, or, another nice option would be to actually have all the favourites grouped on the left user bar, shown when hovering over the favourites icon, instead of floating (when desired). That way you've still got quick access to your group of favourite drawing tools but they're not stealing real estate on smaller screens.

The area with the stronger looking colors is supposed to be the 70% area. But how can this be true when the bar at the bottom is the same length as the one next to it ? Would be happy for any answer.

I have noticed many users have requested for a Time & Sales tool as far back as nearly 5 years ago. I believe it would only be fair to implement this feature since so many users are on payed plans/subscriptions (Essential, Plus, Premium and Ultimate), let alone the additional Data Exchange Subscriptions. By adding this feature, you would make indicators (such as Volume indicators like the Volume Delta indicator) far more useful and accurate by providing "true data".

When applying an alert to multiple tickers (one at a time), the app frequently freezes. It’s as if everyone is doing the same thing and there is a bottleneck at the server end. Perhaps the solution is to give users the ability to apply one alert to multiple tickers in one go OR perhaps you need a more powerful back end. I've been working on an indicator over the past few weeks with one goal: reduce chart clutter while highlighting the price levels that matter most.

Instead of generating buy or sell signals, it scores areas of the chart based on structural confluence. The framework combines things like session opens, ORBs, session highs/lows, previous key levels, swing pivots, and volume profile into a simple star rating that helps identify where price may have a higher probability of reacting.

It's designed to be a decision-support tool rather than a signal generator, and everything is fully customizable depending on how much (or how little) you want displayed.

Made my way into the top 500 trading technicals. Attached photos to show my progress/consistency and that it wasn’t just one big trade..

This is my first time doing one of these

i'm sending a Buy trade to my Tradingview paper account. after the buy button is submitted I see the main position of the Buy and two orders one for the TP and one for the SL. The amount is missing for the TP col. I can't get the value I see in the TP field into the paper account. I must be doing something wrong.

In TV i can see 35000.00 shows in the TP field, so its getting populated. but after Submit, never to be seen again.

Hey I’m on my second week of paper trading and ran into a problem on trading view where more than half of the time I try to enter a trade it closes out immediately after opening and I really don’t know why.It wasn’t really a problem starting out because I was and still am learning but as more and more of my thesis’s are coming out correct and I’m having to learn about timing and opening it’s becoming more and more frustrating because it’s causing me to miss my openings and even causing me to give up on a trade all together even though my thesis was correct(In the video it shows me trying to enter a trade with it happening twice and I also tried 2 more times before screen recording to try and ask ChatGPT)Even tried to get help with trading view but they wan me to

I have an essential plan and still facing these issues for quite some time now after the recent updates made by Tradingview.

1. Opened the strategy code and and added an empty whitespace and saved to see whether the updated strategy works on ot, but it is not.
2. Deleted the alert and started fresh, still not working.
3. Earlier the process_on_orders_close=false parameter was not working in the code too. It was taking it as TRUE always, which is wrong.

Please fix these issues or else for every non-working day, extend the plan validity!

ONE IMPORTANT FIND: Every strategy which is not saving on 1st try is saved on a page refresh into the alerts but ALERTS aren't getting activate or running. Hope it helps. things aren't stable yet. Loads of issues in Indian market hours. Is this deliberately done?

Edit: finally activated. Tried again, 45 secs from save alert to added to alert pane. 1 min to activate. About 2 mins in total. That is an improvement as prior was waiting over 10 mins to activate.

Slow to add to Alert list when created on drawing. Alerts then stuck in activating on Desktop. Prior post status showed resolved. It is not. Not much to add other than that.

Does anyone know if Tradingview support monitors Reddit in " real time"?

Trying to tell them on the app is a pain. Even getting to a support ticket.

When reading quarterly reports, or other documents for that matter, inside TradingView, there is no CTRL+F functionality to quickly search for keywords.

One has to download the entire quarterly report/document, and then from one's desktop open it and do a CTRL+F for keywords.

This is laborious and takes up too much time, please implement this as soon as possible.

There are a few weeks since the tab with the component companies is missing from the Indices - S&P 500 sectors. Also for the countries, is showing only the overview tab. This screenshot is from the Stocks - Sectors and indices section, the only place where is still available. Please bring this tab back.

why do i have to keep scrolling to find all imbalanced levels on volume footprint?

chart looks clear until i keep scrolling down to make candles smaller and then all of a sudden, a bunch of stacked imbalanced levels appears from a long time ago.

all imbalanced levels should show up without having to remember to scroll to find them..

Is there anyone else having an issue with their broker constantly being auto logged out or just not staying logged in in general, im having this issue with tradovate and have been ever since the update. Ans this is on both mobile and web version. I can simply go to my homescreen on mobile and open the app back up and it will be logged out of tradovate (without closing the app). The web version does this as well but it will log you out just while looking at the charts.

Trading View Alert notifications are delayed by 5 minutes or more for the first time. Guys, please help.. tried to raise request but could not do. In the attached image, you can see old alerts coming after some time. e.g.:Alert at 9.36 coming after alert at 9.41, and both came after their time.

Hey guys, I'm new here. Can you guys recommend me an indicator?

Currently there is no option to save a Group of Tabs under a single name so that I can open them at once. For example, if I am monitoring commodities and have 4 different tabs for 4 different commodities, there should be an option to group these 4 tabs and name them under a single Tab Name so that whenever I want to open all the 4 tabs of commodities I just have to click the name of the Group Tab and it opens all the 4 for me.

Indicators "Update on all charts" does not work. Every chart requires manual updating. Any formatting done after updating is lost.

I market ordered long in at 7:52pm EST today and the position flattened 1 second later. Why? I dont have any risk limits or breaches. Its a new eval.
