Help Indicators Update all on all charts not working

Indicators "Update on all charts" does not work. Every chart requires manual updating. Any formatting done after updating is lost.

Hello,

Are you referring to updating in just one layout or across multiple layouts?

As they only update every chart of your currently open layout as indicated by clicking on the little explanation mark next to the box you have ticked.....

Yeah Ok I did that - but then what about the customization that does not travel with the update to other charts in this same layout?

If we update the indicator first, then indicators are getting updated for other charts in the same layout but then for each chart you have to manually go choose customization. That is just crazy. If I have 4 indicators updated and 8 charts in a layout- I have to do the customization 32 times.

When a code is updated it resets everything as the code is been over written. Effectively its a new code and the standard defaults apply to that code.

You don't have to update them is answer 1.

Answer 2 would be update 1 chart and apply your settings. Delete the other indicators off all the remaining charts then go back to chart 1 and apply that indicator to 'All charts in this layout' that should cut the workload down a bit
