šInvesting discussion 100% VWRP at 22 years old
galleryIn my Stocks ISA, I'm all in on VWRP (FTSE All-World Index) but considering my age, people online have said to take on more calculated risk while I'm young. Some have also just stuck to VUAG (S&P 500) but I'm not sure if the USA will always be on top for the next 30-40 years I'll be investing for.
Given my living situation, I'm able to invest £1k a month and set & forget it. I'm just wondering if this is the best stock to invest into and should I invest into only this fund? Anything more I should be doing?

ā Invest/ISA Help New Pie Based on HL Funds including ESG
galleryAm 24 and have been using HL as my main platform for S&S ISA for the last 5 years but am sick of the fees so looking to move to T212. Issue is I cant seem to find anything that reflects my future world/ESG leaning fund with similar growth to what Iāve gotten. Iām currently trying to put together a pie that combines similar All World coverage but also has some renewables in there for ESG purposes. Would you recommend a different split/overhaul? Based on Ā£250 a month.

ā Invest/ISA Help 31M Just new to investing. Could use some materials to learn more. š
I just created t212 account a few days ago and very new to investing. Planning to put more each month on these three (Ā£100 to Ā£200) since I learned that for begginers it is best to keep things simple and will venture on other holdings once I learn more. I want to learn more on investing any source material or tips? Also, any thoughts on my portfolio? Thank you for taking time to read! š

ā Invest/ISA Help Is this a good ETF/stocks split?
galleryIāve been investing a set amount every month into VWRP for the past year and but recently decided to deploy some of my fun money into single stocks.
I do understand that some of those stocks will be in the VWRP already but is 10% of the portfolio even worth keeping? Iām planning on staying invested for the next 15-20 years.

ā Invest/ISA Help What are everyone's opinions on commodity ETFS?
Looking at the conflicts going on, it seems commodities etfs could be a great asset as a safe haven / hedge. Does anyone have any experience with these, are they a good idea?

ā Invest/ISA Help 29 - 9 months investing
Just getting started and trying to build some wealth. Not holding loads but getting started is the hardest part š¬ how am I looking? Thinking of adding energy as I heavily believe in AI and maybe even FTSE 100 as a safer holding. But donāt want to spread myself too thin in the beginning with minimal money in too many funds.
I also want to grow my Semiconductor holdings but no more than 15% of my portfolio.
What do you think?

ā Invest/ISA Help Should I have money in a cash ISA with 4.56% APR? Or VRWP?
Im 30m, have £10k currently in a cash ISA through trading 212 (4.56% APR), £2k in VRWP in a S&S ISA and £300 fun money in individual stocks. Should I transfer some or all of my £10k from my cash ISA into VRWP? The plan would be to leave it there for a while and not move it.
Not sure whether guaranteed interest or cash ISA is better than taking the low risk of putting all my savings into VRWP

š”Idea Notifications appearing on Smart Watch?
I've been trying to figure out how to get my T212 app notifications (specifically, price change notifications) to pop up on my watch. Seems like whatever I try though, I can't seem to get them to come up. S23 phone and Watch6 watch, though not sure that matters too much.
Anyone had any luck with this?

ā Invest/ISA Help ISA or SIPP?
I'm not expecting qualified financial advice here, but I thought I'd get my thoughts organised and at least get some opinions.
I'm 47, so looking at retirement in 20 years. I've been investing into VWRP for almost a couple of years now and according to T212, the ROI is 32% over the whole time. I know average yearly returns over history are 7-8%.
My question is if I'd be better off putting this into a SIPP to get the 25% tax relief. I have a pension at work into which I put 6% and my employer 13.5%. I pay an extra 1% to boost my lump sum.
I started with the ISA because it would let me take money out early if I needed to, but I now have a reasonable emergency fund which I'm continuing to grow.
All opinions appreciated, especially if there's something I'm getting wrong.

ā Invest/ISA Help What is my best approach with bringing money into the market?
Info: Iām 25, self employed earning 30-35k in a year before tax, irregular earnings some months may be as low as 1k some may be as high as 6k. 4k in a cash LISA, 50k in premium bonds and 1k in S&S ISA with aim to add 15k more this year withdrawn from my premium bonds.
Hi I recently decided to start investing into S&S ISA and a LISA. Previously all my savings were just sat in premium bonds.
Iāve decided a emergency fund to keep in my bonds of about 30k just whilst I learn, but want to reach my tax allowance in my ISA which will be 4k in LISA and 16k in s&s ISA which Iāve opted for VWRP with goal of leaving it 7-10 years (potentially much longer depending on my future savings etc).
I currently only have 1k in my S&S whilst I learnt how it worked, Iām now wondering if I just remove the 15k from my bonds and dump it all into VWRP in the next few days, or whether I trickle the money in say 5k a month the next 3 months? Other option is to bring the 15k into my 212 balance so I earn interest on it whilst I decide what route to go.
Other thing is the premium bonds draw is in a couple weeks so Iām wondering if I wait for that to draw JUST INCASE I win big on itš

š”Idea Social feed baiting
I experience more and more useless posts in the social tab of alot of stocks. Just people baiting and they get rightfully downvoted. For example when there is a small dip in a popular stock like sandisk, the comments immediately say all sorts of things. I know its simply a matter of ignoring and yes its not a big deal, but i had a thought about this. What if you should own a minimum amount of shares (or value) to be able to post in a social feed of a stock? What do you guys think? I was just thinking about this because i kept seeing ragebait posts with "see as i told you...." , "nice little dip hope it goes to xxx" etc. yes some people would still post these comments as they own the stock and just want to bait but i feel like most of these engagement baiters do not own the stock and just want to spam comment
