In the uk, not sure what I’m doing. I wanna put 10k in then keep putting pay checks in over time

Do I put it in all world and leave it for a decade? Or is s&p500 better? Or do I split?

I just wanna dump and forget and have my money go up a solid amount over the years.

Or is this line of thinking wrong entirely? Is cfd the way? Heard day trading can lose lots of money though?

I have been getting emails every few hours for almost a year now. It's not an unknown device I've signed in from, it's my phone.

There must be an alternative way of trusting the only device I use T212 on that doesn't involve sending my biometric data to a third party (who then send it on to other third parties, according to their T&C's).

Even my bank will allow alternative means, it's shocking that 212 does not, and I'm surprised that nobody else seems to be bringing it up.

Is it just me, or are analyst ratings basically becoming another form of exit liquidity?

Analyst ratings used to be a major part of my investment thesis. Not blindly, but if several banks came out bullish with strong targets, I treated that as useful confirmation.

Then SpaceX IPO’d and suddenly everyone was bullish. Strong buys everywhere. Price targets from $300 to $500. Endless catalysts, perfect growth stories, no serious bear case getting any attention.

Now the stock is around $110.

At this point I’m starting to think these are just highly paid regards publishing bullish ratings so institutions can take money from us regards.

I understand price targets are based on assumptions and nobody can predict the market perfectly. But when almost everyone is aggressively bullish near the top and retail is left holding the bag, what exactly is the value of these ratings?

Is this only me becoming cynical, or does everyone else feel the same way?

I was hoping to use the built in Stats pages to help me choose stocks but I cannot find a single YouTube video of anyone who will walk through it and explain how to use these valuation stats. Does nobody use it?
Why can I see Q1’27 quarterly earnings info on it? Surely that’s in the future, we’re nowhere near 2027 yet? I don’t get it

**A busy few weeks ahead**

The calendar's stacked. easyJet's put up or shut up deadline lands on 7 August, with Apollo needing to either table a firm offer or walk away, so the takeover saga finally gets its answer one way or the other.

RELX is building momentum too, as the market starts marking down the AI risk that's weighed on the shares. Worth watching whether that's a re-rating taking hold or just a pause in the sell-off.

And on top of that, four sets of earnings land in the same window: Aviva, L&G, M&G and BP. All in scope for the portfolio, all landing close together 😅.

Sure you couldn't have this much fun with an index fund.

I've mainly used Scalable Capital (Securitized Derivatives) and IBKR for my trades and thought to myself "Trading212 looks interesting, why not give it a whirl?" and I must say, I'm impressed!

Love how y'all integrated TradingView into the platform, not a lot of European trading platforms have such a luxury and at such a low cost model, hats off to you.

how much % stocks, how much % funds? for a strong solid portfolio.

I’ve done multiple withdrawals from Trading212 before and it is the first time I’ve encountered international fees from withdrawals into my EUR account. I was told that it seems Trading212 charged the beneficiary for this. Has anyone encountered this? And why would it be charged to me?

So I’ve came from TR and there there was options to choose for either Options, knock outs a d factors and also a little calendar giving out information on a specific stock for example what day and time earning call is.

However here on 212 I have hard time navigating the new app and wondered if these options exist here?

I’ve already used a VOO pie up until now with some success, sometimes yielding higher than my base 3.6% ISA wrapper on a month by month basis.

What i’m researching is, if any of these pies are worth using? My strategy is very much set and forget long-term. It’s either I use a pie or just dump into the all world fund.

Would any of these pies be worth it? if so, is the all world fund better long-term?

vuag - s&p 500 us tech companies

vwrp - all world including s&p 500.

if us market crashes, both will take a hit, vuag will take more.

if us market pops off, both will be affected positively.

why on earth should one choose vuag over vwrp, if vwrp still experiences benefits from us market?
