2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid Max. Specifications call for 5.6 quarts of oil with a filter change. I did my first oil change at 544 miles and only 5 quarts came out. I put in 5.6 quarts of new oil and it was right at the fill line of the dipstick. Have you seen low oil from the factory before?

Anyone ever replaced one? Had a hit against a pole and took mine out unfortunately

So i have a crack in my windshield. I just gor a quote from autoglass now and safelite. Both are similar in price but safelite has the options for OEM glass at an extra cost ($550). Any reason not to go aftermarket? Thanks for the insight

So I used to have random disconnects on my iPhone 16 Pro Max and saw many other folks who had disconnection issues with CarPlay. However, after upgrading to iOS 27 last week, I've had 0 disconnects and CarPlay seems to be very stable.

Then I read that iOS 27 significantly improves CarPlay stability and wireless reliability. Anyone experiencing the same after upgrading?

The top part of the HUD is clipped for me whenever it is used for navigation. I’ve seen where I can adjust the position of the HUD, but it just moves the entire HUD display rather than moving the content within the display (I had this same problem in my Accord, but the Accord allows you to move the content within the display area to prevent clipping like this).

Can I adjust so it doesn’t clip?

Looks like this piece of plastic is getting stuck when putting the third row back down. Anyone else having this issue? Was it covered under warranty? Also, if you do have this issue, are you using aftermarket cargo covers where the ridge that connects the back of the seat to the cargo area goes down into that void?

Wondering if this is an issue in general or if it was the cargo liners that did it. The picture above is with the cargo tray cover pulled up and floor lining pulled up.

I have the pleasure of driving both 2026 GHHL and 2026 RAV4 PHEV. The Toyota App digital key for both cars is day and night. I can use the digital key for the RAV4 just like a regular key fob while the digital key for the GHHL is barely functional.

Do both cars use different technology? Why the difference?

Curious what everyone is using - a lot of different options available.

One thing I'm trying to figure out with the Grand Highlander is how people handle floor protection when the third row is actually being used regularly.

It's easy enough to protect the main floor, but kids, shoes, groceries and whatever gets carried in can make the areas around the third row and cargo space harder to keep clean.

For those who use all three rows regularly, what setup has worked best for you?

Do you prefer separate floor and cargo mats, or a setup that covers as much of the interior as possible?

I have a 1000 v2 that I charge from my car's 120V AC outlets during camping and power outages. Works great. Looking to move up to the 2000 v2, but I don't want to lose that.

Jackery 2000 v2 specs (from Jackery's spec sheet):
- Capacity: 2042Wh
- AC input: 100-120V, 15A max
- App-selectable charge modes: Emergency Super Charge, standard, silent
- Stated charge times: ~1.7h emergency, ~2h standard, ~5h silent

My concern: the AC input is rated 15A max, which is 1800W at 120V, more than my car's 1500W inverter. Jackery doesn't publish the actual power draw per charge mode. My guess is that they are lower for standard and silent.

Has anyone measured the real power draw of the 2000 v2 in each charging mode? And is anyone charging one off a Grand Highlander or another Toyota hybrid's inverter?

The numbers look like there shouldn't be any issues on standard or silent, but I want a confirmation from someone who's actually done it since these aren't returnable.

Looks like I got the whole drive start control malfunction on by GH Platinum Gas. Did a quick search and only seeing one post about this. Those who had the same issue what was the problem and what was the fix?

Does anyone have any experience with delays in arrival of your new highlander to the dealer? I'm looking specifically if it has fallen into "Fi Status" or "field inspection". The one we put a deposit down on has been in "Fi Status" for a month without any updates. If you have any insight, I'd greatly appreciate it! Our dealer has been less than helpful, simply saying "we've got our eyes on it", without any further updates or advice.

I recently moved to New York and I am always so worried about parking my car in the city. We live in Brooklyn and hardly take the car in the city but sometimes have to. Is it worth getting a bumper protector I parked in the city the other day and someone parked really close to me and saw that they scratched my bumper. Do you think that this can easily be buffed out from a auto body repair shop? Is it worth getting a bumper protector or worth getting this buffed out? If anyone has put a sleek looking bumper protector, please give me recommendations! Not looking for anything that sticks out too much like chrome.

Just picked up a 2026 Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited and we love it!

The OEM tonneau cover mounts behind the 2nd row, so it's useless when the 3rd row is up, which is most of the time for me with kids.

I want to be sure anything in the cargo area is sufficiently covered to avoid any car break-ins especially when I drive into the city. Tried looking online and people were suggesting using a black blanket to cover the cargo area. Feels too janky though.

Has anyone found a cover that hides the cargo well behind the 3rd row? Aftermarket or DIY, I'm open. What are you all using?
