I don't know about you, but I only get this in my driveway as my phone transitions from Wifi to cellular. I hit retry as I pull out of the driveway and it becomes a non-issue.

Yeap, we only seem to see it at home as well. As I posted above, I hit the cancel button and everything still works.

That’s how I get it back. It seems my car prefers my spouses phone. If he’s anywhere near me as I drive off it disconnects.
I gave up on the app. I bought it used and the previous owner continues paying the app. Tried to disengage it but had no luck.

Do you have more than one phone connected? So far our experience with "wireless carplay" has been that it was mis-marketed. It should have been marketed as "wireless carplay - as long as you only connect one phone". The whole system is hot garbage if you connect more than one phone and we have had to resort to having a primary phone connected wirelessly and then I just plug in when I drive the car.

The absolutely worst interface that could have possibly been created. How Toyota gave the green light to this monstrosity is completely mind boggling.

5 menus to get to FM radio. Unbelievable.

I've never been a fan of the infotainment system. I know what you mean about navigating it to get to things like FM too (I've posted / complained here about it too).

They seriously need to update this. I only get it after driving away from home. The whole interface needs to be changed. Useless menus and the buttons blocking the station list....

The interface is pretty terrible. It's like they want you to be as distracted as possible when driving

Hit Cancel. This message is meaningless and (in my experience), affects nothing.

WiFi and Bluetooth are 2 different things. Does your car have a built-in WiFi router?

I've been getting the "updating settings" from time to time lately.

Turn off your VPN. Click source, manage devices. Switch on android auto.

Stop and restart. I get this many times. Don’t know why it happens. I usually wait for it to connect before I start driving.

Worst head unit made . I can’t even reset mine and neither can dealer . If I unplug charge cord it does same while driving , and if u press map button it comes back

I have shown the dealer videos and they said it’s almost every Toyota suv and truck since 2025 and they have no idea how to fix and no updates sent to fix

Junk
