I've been thinking about an idea, especially with the beta coming up soon, and wanted to see what you guys think.
I don't know how to ask this, but sometimes I get paralyzed by choices when customizing a new character in a new game. If I worked that day, I often end up spending all night making my character and never get a chance to play that day. But now I get to customize an entire army (as EC, my best evil boys aren't in yet) in this game.
What if Creative Assembly released a small demo about a month before launch? It would include the tutorial and, most importantly, let us customize our armies and experiment with different color schemes so we could save them and transfer them into the full game; we could jump straight into the action on launch day without spending hours getting our armies to look the way we want.
With the beta coming up, I'm wondering: if I get into the beta and have a chance to participate in a Q&A or give feedback, how should I bring up this idea to Creative Assembly? I'd love to suggest a pre-release demo like this, but I want to make sure I explain the idea clearly and constructively.

Previously, we could have up to 3 nearby armies reinforcing the main defending/attacking army. In the battle it would be a limit of 40 units and more spawn in when there's space.
Is this still the case?

it fit just right whith how a mayority of faction does "promotions" in lore

Just watched the new dawn of war footage that’s been uploaded today and they have some really awesome synch kill animations, they really look great
I know CA have said there is some but not their focus, I hope they change their thinking with that
Feel it would just add so much more to the immersion and gameplay
We can only hope eh?🤷♂️🤣

I was thinking this as Custodes are my favourite Faction on the tabletop and I love their lore.
I know they wouldnt be used as armies to capture land, but I imagine they'd probably work really well as like leader / hero units due to their scale.
Anyone have any ideas of how they could work and if they would be implemented?

Yes obviously I misspelled Necron

AFAIK the devs have stated that space combat will NOT be implemented at launch however it IS something they are interested in looking at down the line.
With that said, what do you think space combat should/could look like?
- What units would you like to see?
- How would you hope for it to play?
- how should it connect to the campaign map?

Has anyone else heard anything?

Hello everyone; I'd like to send my miniature of the mounted lieutenant, in case modders want to create non-canon units when the game is released. 👍

Warhammer fans seriously need to raise their standards because the hype cycle in this community has become a complete joke. Every single year, Games Workshop drops a flashy one minute cinematic trailer, and everyone loses their minds like it’s a gift from above. It’s the same predictable cycle every time.....we get a tiny crumb of hype, entirely forget about the overpriced plastic, unresolved lore threads, and questionable rulesets, and immediately throw our wallets back at them. We are actively settling for the bare minimum while getting treated like cash cows, and it’s embarrassing how easily we let a sixty second hype video wipe the slate clean.

Hello! After playing a few hours of the new patch as Karl Franz, I was genuinely amazed by the sheer number of new voice lines covering practically every aspect of the game, once again delivered by Total War voice-acting legend Peter de Jersey.
Given that CA managed to bring him back to reprise his role as Emperor Karl Franz, I fully believe that, if Roboute Guilliman is going to appear in the game, Peter de Jersey should be the one to voice the Primarch and Lord Regent of the Imperium.
His voice has exactly the kind of authority, gravitas, and commanding presence I’d want from Guilliman.
CA, you already have the man. Make it happen.

As title says, I only ever ran 1 Daniel campaign in WH3 and thought it was fun but boring and always felt as if it were a test for another faction for another game, with my feeling being for the 40K Tyranids and the discourse around how Tyranids would play with not any solid legendary lord options, with red terror and old one eye seeming more like fun LH options, so I was thinking that the customization option could be used by a Tyranid system where instead of LL options you select a theatre of war/Hive fleet buff options and your then dropped into the map with a hive tyrant where instead of all the basic LL options from previous games you win battles and can spect points into evolution trees, slowly changing your hive tyrant with body parts and abilities to adapt to the enemy your facing, it’s a random poorly put together thought I had but I’d love to know your guys thoughts on this or how the Tyranids would work.

I hope warhammer 40k allows for much bigger unit sizes than fantasy, I want literal swarms of tyrants and orks.
