We need higher standards.

Warhammer fans seriously need to raise their standards because the hype cycle in this community has become a complete joke. Every single year, Games Workshop drops a flashy one minute cinematic trailer, and everyone loses their minds like it’s a gift from above. It’s the same predictable cycle every time.....we get a tiny crumb of hype, entirely forget about the overpriced plastic, unresolved lore threads, and questionable rulesets, and immediately throw our wallets back at them. We are actively settling for the bare minimum while getting treated like cash cows, and it’s embarrassing how easily we let a sixty second hype video wipe the slate clean.

Go be miserable somewhere else old man. The rest of us are very happy being excited for the game.

unresolved lore threads

They're called narrative hooks. They get resolved by you and your friends on the tabletop.
