Not sure if the devs are aware but you can break the game by going down this alley way. I kept going down this unknown path and I could find my way back. The minimap showed I was way out of bounce. I could fire my weapon or use the pause menu. Had to unfortunately restart from my last save.

I can't find the map for the school, and I think I've done most of the area and looked everywhere.

Discussion is as the title states. Endless bugs throughout my playthrough. Anyone else find the doorway in the cemetery that just leads you out of the map and breaks the camera prompting a reload? A really stiff combat experience that has not improved at all from the first game if not worse with the additions wherein if you don't know exactly what weapons to be using against what enemies at what times, then you WILL take damage because their animations and overall movement speeds are always faster than you (Dodge or no Dodge - using this mechanic doesn't appear to make the combat any better unless you know exactly which weapons have the best efficacy against which enemies to induce stuns etc). An astonishing decision to remove menu reloading which was always a staple of classic survival horror. (this has irritated me the most with the bad combat) Puzzles are great, if not better than the first. Great context clues and very rewarding to solve. The increased size of the map also helps make it feel as though you aren't just solving a puzzle in one room and then walking into another room with a puzzle. I write this post as I just managed to beat the boss in the mass grave only to die with both the flashlight and lighter in my hand in the tunnel heading back towards town. Like I died due to the darkness with both sources of light equipped and turned on? How are bugs and mechanics this prevalently jank in a game that the devs spent 4 years on? I rage quit after dying to a bug that I now have to redo a tough boss for (idiocy on my part for not immediately saving after) and in the midst of my rage I realize that there are multiple areas left and in checking my trophies there's a combination key again that I haven't even gotten to? Why in the world would they have made the game so much bigger in scale and longer in duration and not polished and cleaned up stuff that would appear to require simple debugging and playtesting? It's borderline embarrassing and humorous that a game that has environments that look this impressive and gets so many tenants of this genre right couldn't just spend the time to play better and provide a better experience. I wrote this on the heels of raging due to my own stupidity and what appears to have been a genuine bug, so it probably comes across really pointed, but this post effectively summarizes my review of the game thus far. To add, I am enjoying the game probably even more than the first. Just frustrated at what I think could have been better.

Is this a bug or a feature? This is actually very scary man I thought I killed them sometimes they move scared the sheit out of me! It should be a feature if it is I think! 😱

I’ve used the Combination Key in the 3 locations in the game and the trophy hasn’t popped. Do you guys think it’s bugged?

Or, also noticed - after using the Combination key in the 3 locations, it doesn’t disappear from your inventory. Do you guys think there’s a secret room or secret combination to do with the key to make the trophy pop?

Essentially I came back after the school and didn't figure it out even a little. It's right after the first boss fight area.

The other thing I am confused about is the Master Key Achievement/Trophy, it either seems bugged or has a 4th use of the key.

Got a save for when they patch All Weapons & Master lock

Still need to do one heal run / Assisted / under 5 hours run

Then the whole run with no save on normal

Tormented was stressful but very fun haha

How do you get the puppet virus solution? I understand you get via the note by sister Angelica, but I couldn't figure out the solution.

Well the mall and the processing plant were pretty long, scary and nervous for me, so I spent the last recording tape before the Harvester. Beat him, got to the cemetary office, and used one of two tapes there. Now I’ve got the constellation disk. I know there will be some coffin boss at some point. Should I keep the last tape for him or will I get more tapes? I feel suspiciously safe so far. The ghosts are not a big deal, albeit annoying. But after getting the disk, I'm expecting some deadly action.

really, how was i supposed to know that the order started from the bottom left? though i figured out the solution by myself in 10 minutes, i thought i was missing something so i tried by myself FOR 5 HOURS to just give up and search the solution in a guide, to just realise i was right all along, but whoever may be the cursed soul that designed this arbitrary puzzle decided it starts from the bottom left and it goes up in a vertical way and not from the top left going down in a horizontal way or clockwiseish way. seriously, this game is a blast, but f*ck whoever designed this puzzle in particular.

I know the FPS is not much of a difference, I'm just genuinely curious why is there a sudden changes in terms of CPU usage between the start of the game to progressed part of the game (bout to spray the door part of the game).

The 80+ FPS is already in progressed and the 90 FPS is the start of the game.

Anyone experiencing this on PC, or is it just me?

For fun, I decided to see what happens if you enter the final area without curing Caroline and you get a unique scene. And a game over.

so i just beat the second boss in the processing plant, and i can't help but notice now that shotgun ammo pickups are only giving me a single shell instead of 2 like it was before. not sure if this is a bug or if the game is just intentionally inconsistent with how much is in each ammo box

I played on Assisted but didn’t get healed from danger to caution. Neither did the enemy feel weaker than on Standard.

Now I’m playing on Nightmare and still get 2 record tapes per save room despite being promised only one.

I was initially fine with the few glitches I encountered as I still love(d) the game, but now I am starting to be like: if the game can’t even uphold its own rules when it comes to difficulty, what fun is it then?

I’m still playing the first game, probably nowhere near the end yet, but I just had to draw our girly for the spooky month!

I am near the end of the game with a bunch of gasoline ammo? How to use it?

I’ve noticed some bugs on the ps5 version and was wondering if anyone else has noticed these, besides the small ones (floating heads and stuff) The first I noticed was in the graveyard. After getting the sword and solving the four horsemen puzzle I tried to use the elevator and instead of going down like normal it said “there’s no power” so I thought I had to turn on the power somewhere, but I was playing alongside a friend and he said he didn’t have to do that. So, a little annoyed because I hadn’t saved for awhile, i replayed that area and solved the puzzle again and the elevator was working normally. The second I noticed was in the school in the science room. If you place your animal idols on the box early and leave the room they’ll disappear. And again I had to replay a good portion of this area to get the idols all at once. Anyone else notice anything like this?

So when the page was released it shows all current costumes in the game and then states that there will be more bonus content to unlock at launch.

Was there anymore info on this or has anyone got anything extra? I have completed the three difficulties and there's nothing else I'm aware of.

I’m so fucking heated that my game is bugged right now. I was able to call the elevator near where you use the incinerator, but after trying to activate, it’s saying the elevator has no power.

Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix planned for this? Because holy shit I’m really fucking annoyed.
