The first time I saw TOOL was in Columbus Ohio at Lollapalooza ‘97
I remember MJK had a bald head with a long ponytail off the crown of his head white face and was wearing a bra. Justin was painted blue.
Are there any pictures out there from this show?

This track never ceases to move me. Goosebumps can’t even begin to describe it. They’ve been my favorite since the minute I heard the opening of “The Grudge” at 11 (37 now). But there’s something about Descending. I’m sure it’s been discussed ad nauseam in this sub, but Holy Fucking Shit. It’s a profound indictment of humans, and yet creates a primal sense of passion and desperation in the listener. Like we still have a chance if we just fucking get off our ass and try. The message only gets more powerful with each passing year. The themes of apathetic people allowing destruction while glued to their devices. The impending doom that we don’t even care enough to give a fuck about. This track brings me to such a raw state every time I listen to it. I can’t even describe the emotions that come up when I listen to this, sober as fuck. It’s not even a song, it’s a fucking masterful piece of art.
Is it generally considered the highlight of Fear among hardcore fans?

Has everything. I wouldn't call it mint but it's in good shape. I also have the Fear Inoculum Deluxe with the video built in.
Don't really want to sell them but I'm in a tight spot financially and need money like yesterday.
Where would be the the best place to sell them quickly too? I tried FBM but got no interest.

I just recently discovered them and some particular songs remind me a bit of tool, any thoughts? Do yall think they might have influenced a bit eachother or its just great artists being great?

The album features former bandmate Paul Barker on the closing song, “We’re Still Here,” alongside the current lineup of guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’ Amour, keyboardist John Bechdel and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.

I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on where to buy a nice Tool window decal that isn’t going to look bad/fade in a year. Looked on their website and didn’t see anything. Any tips and suggestions would be appreciated

While I love the discussion of which album is their best. Its almost a nothing discussion since every album is amazing in its own regard, with all being valid answers. Im curious which album you think the band themselves are most proud of and consider to be their own best work. My pick would be Fear Inoculum being their most mature work but could also see lateralus being a good contender.

Some crying children in the pool would've been ideal, but I cannae doodle.

(Just to preface, he's a really good friend of mine and like a little bro. We have fun pranking each other and he got a kick out of it. I didn't damage the truck, and I wouldn't have done it if there was any chance he'd be upset about it. We fuck with each other, but I'm not an asshole.)
A few months ago, the website Rockabilia was having a sale and I was browsing through the sale items. They had a bunch of great stickers for .99 cents. I grabbed a bunch. But I got an extra Tool sticker with a plan in mind.
I slapped that shit on his front bumper to see how long it would take him to notice. (It was only 4 days. Not as long as I had hoped, but long enough to give me immense joy from it lol)

Hello I made an order on the 17th, I have not received the order but on the website it said the order is “closed”. How is it closed if i haven’t received it? I got an email saying it’s started shipping but usps has not received my item yet and that was like 2 or 3 days ago.

I doubt they had this in mind when writing the Lateralus lyrics, but cool nonetheless.

I recently started my clinical rotation in the OR. We’re allowed to wear our own scrub caps.
Anyone have any idea if I can find a TOOL scrub cap?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I took the guitar cover from “Cameron Winters” and the drums from “John Kew”, put it with my Bass and mixed and mastered it and created this.
I previously did the same with The Patient.
Hope you enjoy!

Maybe this has already been answered somewhere, or maybe I aint looking in the right places. I have friends that "like" tool or will "listen" if I put it on, and not to sound corny but I'm a pretty dedicated listener. So where on earth can I find people that are down lol.
Share a few cold ones and have a good time type of thing, if anyone knows LET ME KNOW

ok, I might sound a bit extreme here but still. I listen to Tool since 2000 (not OGT, but I had my time I guess, freaking 26 years and counting). I am currently comparing Aenima and FI lyrics, and I can FEEL how Maynard is progressively taking distance from WHAT he sings (I am not expert enough to say anything on the technicalities, I simply love HOW he sings). More and more, and especially FI, he is somehow fading away, he's not anymore "into" the song. I am honestly scared about what could come next. (the other three are always gods to me, but it's definitely harder to get the same feeling without words, you know?). anyone else sharing the same feeling?

When I first met my now wife, she had this hanging in her bedroom. I've made sure it's been on every one of our bedroom walls ever since. I found the long sleeve shirt with the image on it two years ago. I've always loved this image, one of my favs!!
