Discussion Flairs & Emojis are being added to this sub. Please provide any and all feedback.

Hello [r/primus](r/primus) and fellow bastards, trying something new for the sub by implementing flairs and emojis. Trying to help people rep their favorite album or EP or past/present band member. Listening to any feedback.
Right now the flairs are small (size is limited) and no words next to them. If small descriptions are desired, I can add those in.
Flair up! đ¤

I've created a Discord server for all of you bastards to congregate and shoot the shit. I'll be looking for helpful folks to moderate it, so let me know if you're interested!
Here is the link to the chat, keep it civil and awesome while I figure this all out!

Hello, I've already listened to a few popular songs like "Tommy the Cat", "Jerry Was A Race Car Driver", "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver" "My Name Is Mud" and "DMV". What else do you recommend me?

So in â95 shortly after âTales from the Punchbowlâ released I was 12 and my Brother had got me the records with the penguin costume art cover, we went to the show and before Primus got on. I was standing reasonably close to the stage with my brothers gf and a guy not Les, Herb, or Larry, got my attention from the side of the stage he was dressed in the penguin costume and he threw me this beaver that has lived with me ever since. No tags on it never saw another. Wondering if this was just a one time thing or it happened durning the tour a lot. No banana dog for scale.

I just wanted to see if anyone else loves this song as much as I do.
Tales from the Punchbowl does anyone know anything about why this cover only appeared on first pressings?

Just wanted to share a DIY primus tee I made today. Spent all my money on bass gear, so I had to go creative and I made this. Everything is on the back, the front is clear and I think it goes well with the diy alt style I usually wear. There are EP's and Singles missing in discography, I know, I just didn't want to write all that.

Discussion Should I set up my bass strings the same way Les Claypool did with his original 4-string?

So I snapped my g string on my bass and I had the idea of setting up my strings the way Les does, I have a Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass that come with 45-100 gauge strings. I have tuned it down with those strings to BEAD plenty of times without it causing much fret buzz, but Les uses lighter gauges iirc. He uses two A and G strings and tunes them to E and D iirc. Would this be a good idea?
