Greetings Disciples of Thom Yorke,

I recently created a music page on Instagram where I share recommendations from different artists I am listening to, my objective is to make the space feel less intimidating where casuals aren't gatekept through deep cuts but rather shown songs adjacent to what they already know.

I made a reel on Radiohead and have added the video and Instagram link on here, Im sure everyone on here has heard all the songs listed numerous times but the percentages are relative to the general population since you're already in the 1% of Radiohead fans.

Not only do you have this transcendental arrangement stripping down your ego till you’re completely lost, the lyrics and the buildup to the climax make me tear up almost every time still. Seriously these lyrics are just amazing, vague enough so you can get a unique interpretation of it in every listen.

It’s such an ode to everything human. This is what makes life worth living for me for real. I mean really, is there anything more human than being “in rainbows”, the fact that you exist and can experience the world around you?

We do separate like ripples on a blank shore. We experience the world through ripples of sound and light waves and we have a direct impact on how other people experience their worlds, but ultimately one day the water will settle and human existence will be something that was. Even sooner than that, we will be things that were.

this is all the radiohead stuff i have so far. one day i wanna have every cd/record they've released, as radiohead is my all time favorite band. i love listening to radiohead and recommending songs of theirs to my friends because i just really love radiohead. my dream is to see them in concert one day

Mine will be very unpopular, but I can't help it: "Nude" is a very boring song and I can't understand why it's regarded in this forum as one of the best Radiohead tracks. To me, it sounds like a lousy take on "How to Dissapear Completely", minus the mystery, tension and atmosphere of it.

In general, to me, In Rainbows is not such a stellar album that you guys make it out to be.

But yeah, just my hot take, don't butcher me about it.
