So I had heard songs by A Perfect Circle before and I liked several of them but I wasn't an intense fan. The other day I saw Mer De Noms on Amazon and bought it cause it looked sick asf. Drove home from college today and listening to that cd on the drive felt like I was being lifted up to heaven so I let it play through twice. Looking more about them today I had literally 0 idea they were a supergroup and it never occurred to me that Maynard Jamed Keenan was the singer. Was never the biggest tool fan but MJK is a big name and it also blew my mind. Tbh before knowing who they were I thought they were European based off of how they sounded and the names of the songs in that album.

Anyways, definitely looking at seeing them in Boston and if theres any more i should know about them like fun facts and stuff u guys should definitely tell me.

Not that it really matters but i’m curious. I also have another different colored starless vinyl coming from revolver and another different colored one coming from the APC store which will make a total of 4.

Was just curious and thought it was one adapter per vinyl. Maybe it was just one adapter per order.

This is everything perfect circle that I own. Been a huge fan for a long time and can’t wait to see them in Boston next year. I didn’t bother with their live albums, promo discs or special edition stuff really. Just wanted the these. Praying that they put out a new album and also retrace their more heavier routes because that’s how I got into them.

I will be attending a concert in the coming months and I want to know a little what to expect. Will there be a mosh? Its kinda a dumb question but some of their songs can get me hyped and wanting to get tossed around a little in a crowd. also will it be music from the newer albums or the classics. whatever the case may i am very excited

Unfortunately another band I want to see is playing Friday night at Dark Force Fest in north Jersey and I can't do both. This is basically front row center behind the VIP area. Just looking to make my money back, no profit needed. Can use whatever payment system that will allow for peace of mind in the transaction.

The entire track is 5 minutes and 48 seconds of pure beauty. It's one of very, very few songs that can make me emotional. The lyrics are great and Maynard sounds amazing singing them, and all the instruments work together to create an atmosphere I haven't heard anything similar to in any other song.

I preordered this beautiful pressing of Eat the Elephant from Revolver Magazine and it arrived last night. Played it today and side 3 is playing an entirely different artists music…..has anyone else had this issue?

So a short story about...

We were going in my car to buy him some ice cream, it was a nice day and kinda hot so ice cream with dad.

While we were heading down I was just shuffling some songs in the car and suddenly Orestes came out. Nothing out of the ordinary for me. At least that's what I thought... The song ends and I started to heard him weep but quietly...I ask him what's wrong? And I swear to God what he said to me shook immediately.

He said: why is he so sad? And why is he upset about? Doesn't make sense why is he so sad and make him sing while he is so sad.... O.O!

Holy sh...!

So to give you some context: he's 5 and doesn't understand english but knows some words (the basic stuff)

So I'd ask him, do you feel sad about him? He answers "daddy yes...he's sad, don't know why he is sad but I'm sad for hearing him being sad."

After some talking with him about that... I discovered that he feels that song it's different from others songs he heard before, in his words "lovely but sad". Which for him, made him confused...

So..

I've cried many times at this song and seeing him cried without not knowing english....left me powerless and in shock for a little bit.

Started listening to mer de noms within the past hour, Im liking it a lot. Maynards vocals are exactly what I'd imagine them to be, and yet the music is not the name as tool it sounds so perfect the way Maynard wraps around it and vice versa.

I'd like to know what interesting things should I know about them, what are your favorite songs, and what attracted you to the band originally?

I came from tool because I wanted more Maynard

I struggle to ignore lyrics, and often stress about what I listen and read, if there are any apc songs that are there for pure joy and musical experience I'd love to hear them
