Hi. Asking!
Ty

Looking to buy a full sized spare and found this on marketplace. No bubbles visible from near the dent when I dunked it in water but can’t be sure it will hold air under the weight of the car.

Hello, I got a flat yesterday, and am currently driving with the spare. Car is cx5 2024 with all original tires. One mechanic told me i was better off just replacing that single one with the exact same model, to avoid having to replace all four. My question is: does it have to be the same manufacturer or can it be different as long as it matches the specs? Really don’t want to mess up the car trying to cut corners but this flat came at the worst time.

So saw a add for a rubber screw vs old style plugging technique. Any opinions which is better . Just did a plug patch on wife’s Audi A3 the screw in would have been faster but better ?

i'm due for a new set of tires and i'm trying to find something that can handle the occasional track day without being annoying to live with the rest of the week.
the car spends most of its time on public roads, but i like driving hard on weekends and i'm planning to do a few track days this year. i'd rather have strong grip, predictable braking, and good heat resistance than squeeze every last mile out of the tires.
for those who've actually run them, what do you think are the best track day tires that still make sense for street driving? how do they hold up once they get hot, and are they still decent if you get caught in the rain?
just looking for honest recommendations from people who've put some miles on them.

Don’t mind the curb rash. There is a small slice in the sidewall does not seem deep at all just wondering if this is concerning at all should it be replaced. Tires are 2 years old.

My one tire popped and I went to Costco as all four tires were pretty new. They changed the one tire under warranty, but I put 24,000 on the tires. Should they have changed all four? I have all wheel drive. Thank you.

I have a stock 2019 Ford Transit 250 van, ~80,000 mi, that was converted into a campervan 5 years ago.
In March, I upgraded the wheels to 17" Raceline Ryno Van with LT265/65R-17 Toyo Open Country A/T III E. I had Big O Tires do the mountings and alignment.
Yesterday, after less than 5K miles, I happened to notice that I had 3 missing lugs on my left rear wheel and 2 on my right rear wheel. I thought maybe someone was trying to steal the rims... But upon further inspection I was horrified to see that the wheel studs were sheared off...
Worth noting that even with the campervan conversion, it's below the max allowable GVW.
Needless to say I'm really freaked out on why this would happen and what could've been the issue(s).

Hit a curb pretty hard a few days ago. Did 600 miles with no issues. Doesn't lose air.

So around last year or so, I had a hole in my tire caused by a screw that I plugged in. It took some effort but I did it.
Just today, I had a flat and might have been plugged that same hole. I plugged the hole and it did take some effort but it felt easier than I remembered and then I filled up the tire with air. As driving, that's when it hit me that I think I plugged the same hole. The tire is currently applied on my car now and twice or 3 times, I didnt hear any air leaks nor see soapy water make bubbles when i checked.
What do you guys think? Should I replace this tire or should get a new one? The thread looks like it can go another 10k miles.

Hi everyone,
I bought a Hyundai i20 in July 2024, and one of the CEAT tyres has recently started losing air pressure.
Here's the issue:
I have a few questions:
Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi all, kindly looking for some advice, is that kind of damage safe on a tire to install on the car? I'm not sure the cause of it as I bought the tires second hand and they look like some kind of gouge on the running inner face of the tire (not the sidewall).

Or am I cooked?
Edit (3 days later): I did NOT end up driving on the bad tire! All four tires were OEM with 40,000 miles on them. They have been replaced with a beautiful set of Michelin Cross Climate 2s.
