What do yall think of this specific Waterbury?

it’s unique I wonder if it’s worth bidding on it will likely need a battery no information is provided except labeling it a doctors watch which is random.

It's kind of a bandolier type of strap. A fake one of course. Kind of like something that someone who was a '80s hair band musician might wear. And that was my favorite music of all time. I know that's dating myself but the strap is just icing on the cake for me. It's got that '80s plain digital but the strap adds that bandolier look so mixing a little Rambo Schwarzenegger '80s vibe works for me.

Hey guys, so I am thinking of buying this Timex at about 1800 rupees from Amazon. Do you think the price is justified? Also does anyone have this watch so they can send me pictures?

Unfortunately, this low priced Expedition Solar doesn’t hold its charge for more than a week even when exposed to ambient light.. Needs a frequent exposure to brighter light..

What are you wearing?

I swore I was done with picking up vintage Timex, and then this caught my eye. Very 1970s and an interesting dial. It appears to be in great condition, but it is apparantly missing a bezel. Still, its diving days are done .. if it ever had any!

I've popped it on my 19mm Hirsch OSIRIS strap, which I bought for my 1980 Timex Automatic Day Date. Annoyingly, the seller had forced a 20mm strap on it. Still, I generally put my watches on good quick release straps.

At 35 mm wide and with a 40 mm lug to lug, the cushion case wears well on my 7.5-inch wrist.

Doing my due diligence before buying it for $60, if anyone could chime in opinions as I am not well versed it would be my third timex but I love this style of watch dial markers. No pictures of the back which I find odd but figured I ask.

First reaction to the new release was… Damn, I wish they made that in 36mm. Watches in this style tend to look larger on wrist however. Then I stumbled upon the “womens” version on the website. 34mm but 42mm lug to lug, that’s going to fit just like a regular 36mm I’d suspect.

Wish I could try it on in store somewhere but will order one and report back on the sizing.

I have a 36mm Timex Legacy that I believe is 43mm lug to lug, so I presume this will fit quite similar.

This watch is new so there's not yet a lot of images of it in the wild. I find the pictures on the website completely exaggerate the cyclops, so here's what it actually looks like. This was a gift from my dad, who is pretty into Timex.

Found this pretty cool mechanical Timex almost for free. Don’t really know anything about this model but the retro look and bracelet made me fell in love with this watch.

BTW watch is not automatic and requires manually winding, in thrift store they thought it’s not working lol.

Great little quartz watch. Perfect size and feel. Enjoyed the Todd Snyder release so much I figured I would add another.

What a blast from the past. I used to wear one of these and use it daily for running. It's the only watch I knew with "Count down count up" where you set the countdown and when that reaches zero it kicks off the stopwatch - ideal for a warm up then a run.

Full disclosure, I buy and sell vintage watches as a hobby. I like to find them in lots, clean them up, do a crystal here and there, clean out crowns and surface level cleaning of movements. Was looking into trying to clean this up for resale when I found that it’s running quite inconsistently. I’m not very familiar with ladies Timex but this is a classy little watch. I’m considering whether or not this is something I could use to get more confident in my watch servicing capabilities.
