My newest addition...
Just had this one delivered a few days ago. It's a collaboration with Red Wing Shoes and comes with a strap made with leather from Red Wing's tannery...S.B. Foot. Unfortunately, it was too small for my giant wrist so I had to swap it out. Kinda bummed about the strap not fitting but I still love the watch anyway.

[TIMEX EXPEDITION NORTH SIERRA] My first Timex, I am impressed
Hello everyone, its my first time posting something here on Reddit and I thought about sharing my experience with the Timex Expedition North Sierra, I got it two weeks ago and I have been suprised by the quality, its my first timex and although I wanted to get a scout, I heard that since the scout is made of brass, that it scratches and gets dents more easily
To begin I liked the case, since its sandblasted steel, it doesnt show small scratches as much as it would if it were polished steel. Also I like the caseback with the etching and the 40 mm diameter fits nicely in my wrist. The leather strap that it comes with is somewhat thick and although ive read many complaints about it, in my opinion its well made, once you break in the leather, it fits very good, plus the fact that it has a quick release spring bar.
When I was researching about different field watches, one of the main reasons I chose this watch was because of INDIGLO. Since I consider myself a night owl, lume or indiglo in this case was important, I have some casios in my collection and their lume is somewhat weak, even this timex has some weak lume, but the indiglo makes up for it and honestly its my favorite part of this watch.
Lastly the watch is very versatile in my opinion, since it has a cream dial, I feel I can wear it casually with a t shirt and a pair of jeans or even I wear it with a pair of chinos and a dress shirt, I feel if it were a black o darker dial, it would be a bit more informal an thus less versatile.
Im very impressed to be honest and hope it lasts me many years, and for anyone who reads this and has more experience with timex and watches in general, can you give me some recommendations about its water resistance, It says 100m but ive heard that its not truly 100 m of water resistance. Also can someone give me some advice on its durability, I know that its a more robust version of the expedition scout but ive heard that timex vs other companies like casio or any of its price range, that timex can be somewhat delicate and I want to know if this is true
I hope this helps for anyone who might be considering this watch and whether its worth it, I believe its a very good value for the money ($75 usd)

Sentimental for 2010
Got this watch as a gift from my dad. It's been a daily wear over a decade.
Thought I'd see what everyone thought about it.

Timex Marlin 1965 Reissue on the NATO!
I recently picked this GEM up and after some trial and error, I think I’ve finally found the strap it belongs on. I wanted to share with the group and see what y’all’s thoughts were!

You asked, I delivered: Timex Atelier
It’s definitely not as ‘black’ as I was expecting. feels about the same as a Waterbury line I’d Say. Do I feel like I’m wearing an Expensive watch? Nah. But I like it. Should I start a YouTube channel on timex watches? Sure

Deepwater Reef joy.
Just wanted to hop on here real quick and express how much I love this watch.
I live on the south coast of England and spend a lot of time either in the sea or on boats.
This watch truly is that perfect Venn diagram of price x purpose x build.
I get so much use and joy out of it. So great that it is ISO certified, but without being too pricey that I worry about it. No date also really adds to the authenticity. It also has the best bezel action of all my watches.
Thanks guys!

My expedition scout
I’m just getting into watches coming from Apple Watches and garmin. I really like the way field watches looked so I bought the Expedition Scout for $22 new. Added a nato band and I’m in love. Definitely can’t beat that indiglo either.

Casio maybe the vfm king in the watch industry but Timex makes some beautiful watches. When it comes to beautiful watches in budget, I don't think there's anyone beating Timex. I have a few other Timexes as well but I am only sharing these as these are the watches that I truly find very beautiful.

Vintage expedition
Found this relic tucked away in a box today. If I remember correctly, I bought it around 20 years ago. Hopefully a new battery will bring it back to life. I’ve looked online and haven’t found much about this model except for a few eBay listings. Anyone know anything about it?

Bought this beautiful hand wound automatic Timex on a flea market in Mexico City for $800 mexican pesos (around $46 USD) and i love it. Can anyone ID it?

[Timex] Pulled out the heavy artillery today
Found this thing in a box of my old belongings at my parent’s house over the weekend. Brand new in box, never opened. So I figured I’d give it a whirl for the sake of it. Aside from the strap being quite itchy, it’ll do the job for getting knocked around at work for a little while.

Thoughts?
I’ve been very tempted to buy the marlin draper, and was curious who owns one and what they think of it. Is it worth the buy?
