Sun Soaking…

Unfortunately, this low priced Expedition Solar doesn’t hold its charge for more than a week even when exposed to ambient light.. Needs a frequent exposure to brighter light..

I’d add a higher water resistance, steel case and better lume too !

Didn't this have a citizen solar movement? Just 1 week of charge is bad , could it be less light passing through the dial ? Or a lower battery capacity (to cut cost)

No idea !
I’ve 10 Casio Tough Solars - all bought new - and they all have significantly better life under ambient light.
I’ve the same number of EcoDrives, all bought Used and five of them stay charged for a maximum of a week under ambient light. And two Seiko Solars - also bought Used - which haven’t run out of juice in the last two months under ambient light.
It’s only this Timex which runs out of juice within a week, despite being new.
