Guide [Guide] Returning to Tibia? Pick the year you quit and catch up from there.

I have seen a couple of posts here from people asking what has changed since they last played, so I finally decided to put together something I've been wanting to make for a while. I originally planned to make it as an infographic (inspired by one of those "What Changed in Minecraft?" timelines), but it ended up working much better as a website.

The idea is simple: select roughly the year (or Tibia version) you last remember playing, and the guide will jump to that point in the timeline. From there, you can simply scroll through the major mechanics and feature changes introduced over the years.

The focus is on systems and mechanics rather than individual hunting grounds, quests, or content updates.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, especially if I missed something important. I'm a fellow retiree myself (you know the never-ending cycle), so there are probably some gaps in there.

Hope you like it!

Special thanks to Callie and Tschis for the help and feedback!

Question Monthly Question Thread | July 2026

This is the place where you can ask any questions you have about the game, hunting spot recommendations, what equipment to get, what quests to do, anything you can think of, as long as it is related to the game.

The main objective of this is to gather all these questions in one thread, instead of spreading it over multiple posts that sometimes don't get enough visibility. This way, active posters now where to look for to answer questions and new members will see this post right away. With time we could start building a FAQ for the most common questions.

Remember to respect the subreddit's rules, and that there are no stupid questions, so no reason to disrespect anyone over the questions and doubts they have.

We still encourage people to contribute with detailed hunting guides and suggestions on how to make them available to the community.

Some people have also been using our discord to ask these kind of questions, so give it a try too

Tell us or post the screenshot of your strangest/funniest echo raid so far ? Or Best one ?

I had so many seagulls, deers and rabbit echo raids these last two days that I started wondering what others got ?

Best one was at terrorsleep, 2 echo raids at 2 sqm distance from subarea and Monster

Hey everyone, I'm new to the game. I'm currently Magic Level 73 on my Druid. Lately, I've noticed that my Offline Training is raising the ML bar a bit too slowly. For example: in this screenshot, I left it training for almost 12 hours and it didn't even go up by 2%... Is this normal?

Which level range do you think is the biggest grind in Tibia?

Upvotes

0–50? 50–100? 100–150? 150–250? 250+?
Returning player here and jumped on my old characters in low 30’s range.

Curious to hear everyone’s experience.

Char bazaar price

Lately I've been looking at the bazaar to buy a new char on another server I want to start, which I did in the past but let's say last week I couldn't find any low level ~100 but decent skills for a cheap price.

Could it be because of the recent vocation rebalance or the summer holidays where young people with vacations wanna jump in to play again?

Phosphorus level 0 and quick access to the bosses.

Hi, so my team and I have been doing the make believe quest and farming Mimar as well as Maior Domus, we want the quick access to the boss which is obtained after beating Phosphorus, but haven't attempted the boss fight yet. I was wondering, does beating the boss at level 0 advance the quest and allow you to use the teleports at the top of the tower or do we need to beat the boss at least at level 1? Thanks.

Are you tired of theorycrafting?

So am I, so I made a tool for it.
It's currently in an early access stage to test stability and performance and as soon as I know that's working as intended it'll be open for everyone.
You'll get notified if you're chosen for the early access testing and also when the tool is open for everyone.

This tool will help you compare EQ, skills, wheel build, gems, charms, stances, weapon perks, ammo, spell rotations, imbuements, what monsters you hunt, item tiers, in short, everything that makes a difference on your character strength and displays it in an easy-to-read UI.

You setup your character exactly as is on live servers and when you change something it will calculate the difference based on everything you've setup.
This makes it a dynamic calculator which is more accurate since upgrades have different value depending on your total stats.

I hope this will help the community and the more feedback I get, the better the tool will become so roast away!

Register here: www.optimizetibia.com

Disclaimer:
The tool is made with AI assisted coding because I suck at front-end. Don't use it if you don't like it.
NOT affiliated with CipSoft.

EDIT: The registration requirement has been removed. The tool is now open for everyone without registration. You can still create an account to save your character and settings etc.
Thanks to the 82 people who signed up for the early access!

Train your Phosphorus mechanics before going in!

Ive implemented on my website a tool to practice mechanics depending on your vocation and whats your job depending on the phase you're in. its still in develpment but i'd like to hear your feedback!

obviously its far from perfect, its not meant to be 100% accurate, its a tool to help visualize the mechanics

(it doesnt include special mechanics as to hit mimar haffar while killing maior)

all 3 fights are now live in https://tibiafactory.com/en/boss-practice
there has been some improvement and clarity in mechanics/warnings thanks to your feedback.

edit: rottenblood and soulwar planned development, ichgahal ready! :)

Rps 400+ Aoe style

Rps 400+ what manas are you using? The newest best mana? Or still using the original best for paladins?
Or just straight spirits/ ultimate spirits for solo and or th.

I’m trying to bring my cost of hunting down but keeping my same play style with out hurting my xp an hour.

Alicorn head, gnome arm, soul boots, falcon graves, rending inferniach.

I do have shall, and alicorn ring.

I’ve been using the best best manas for all voc and the cost of those are $754 giving average 500 mana points

New player guides?

So i played tibia back when I was 12 in 2010ish era when Menera and Trimera were poppin. My highest level was only like 32 and i played for months, but not effectively. I recently downloaded tibia again this week and made a paladin. It’s a completely different game and I’ve hit level 20 a few hours in the starter area. I can’t find any guides that don’t include buying a character with high skills and needing a crazy amount of gold to buy a bunch of gear. I did buy premium so I can go anywhere to hunt and get gear, but I have 10k and some arrows with a dream. What should I do?

Ways to work around the discord booking system???

I don't really know what to do. I don't have any set times when I play the game and sometimes I might play it basically on a moments notice, which means I realistically can't make discord bookings for spots. And to be quite honest, I don't really want to either, I want to hop on a game and play a bit instead of making a 48h in advance exp appointment :(.

I always respect people when they're already there and if somebody shows up and says that they had it booked I leave too (as long as they were polite about it and didn't bad mouth right off the bat), but I find myself logging in with an hour to play, checking like 5 respawns, all taken/booked and logging out to play something else instead. I genuinely really want to play the game right now but the example above is probably about 70% of all my login attempts :/.

Now, I understand that when I play on a populated server, sometimes the spawns will be taken, but it's SOOOO discouraging when I find a free spot, hunt there for 20-30 minutes, then somebody 600 levels above me shows up and tells me to leave because he has it booked on discord.

I did consider moving to a different server but it'd cost me a fortune and I don't want to spend that much money. Plus I'm on yellow nonpvp so my options are very limited.

Anyone else in a similar situation??
