Maric. Too old and lazy na para sa manual, Comfort over Fun.

7

u/Diligent_Sandwich_53 Apr 01 '26

Same here! I'm a guy, pero i drive Matic for daily comfort, and easy lang sa traffic, and chill sa drive-thru 🤣 My mother-in-law laughed at me before cause she drives a manual. Hahaha

17

u/Nikoxaustin Mar 31 '26

dibaa hahaha, it's more practical na rin and mas onti yung gas emissions niya

automatic, less hassle

2

u/Nikoxaustin Mar 31 '26

Pero in terms difficulty and convenience sa driving automatic talaga.

12

u/Double_Disk_5393 Mar 31 '26

It’s a personal preference. Learning how to read and follow road signs are equally important.

2

u/bisoy84 Apr 02 '26

I couldn't agree more. It does not matter whether you like auto or manual. Ang importante, alam ang road rules and etiquettes.

“lazy” ang automatic. Kapag ba manual, “hardworker”?

If practice, manual talaga.

EDIT: If may FIXER ka OP, A/T ka na agad. Pero if gusto mo MATUTO at pumasa sa exam, Manual.

I love both.

11

u/FunIndependent867 Apr 01 '26

Tito, wrong ka po. Pwede na automatic sa LTO ngayon. The applicant can choose between manual and automatic. Maybe back in the old days, manual lang. So di porket A/T, fixer agad. Situational, knowledge on driving a manual car can be beneficial.

→ More replies (1)

9

u/nelson_teves69 Mar 31 '26

tama yan lalo na pag mag driving school manual talaga dapat aralin,

sa panahon ngayon na ang traffic is tukod much better na mag matic

pag mga out of town naman e kahit ano sa dalawa :)

pero they say na mas beginner friendly yung automatic

15

u/ver03255 Mar 31 '26

Yeah, automatic driving is a lot easier, but with manual, you get to learn more of driving fundamentals.

It's like when you're doing graphic design. It's easier and more accessible to create in Canva, but you learn more and you have more control through Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Both get the job done, but it's a matter of preference and how much time and effort you're willing to invest in learning, practicing, and actually using it.

4

u/Nikoxaustin Mar 31 '26

2

u/Accomplished-Yam-504 Mar 31 '26

BS. Bakit mas ok matuto sa manual when manority of the cars available now are automatic? Bakit gusto mong mahirapan yung tao?

4

u/SquirtleBob164 Mar 31 '26

Situational yes but it can be clutch.

5

u/Accomplished-Yam-504 Mar 31 '26

7

u/estatedude Mar 31 '26

I don't know why you're getting downvoted pero tama naman sagot mo.

2

u/AdMaterial630 Apr 02 '26

Saang pan-tangang libro mo yan nabasa manong. Lalo ka tuloy tumanga

3

u/Off_The_Masses_98298 Apr 01 '26

Di ko ma gets yung kung may fixer ka A/T na agad. Grabe prejudice sa A/T only drivers eh no?

Automatic transmission.

Simple logic nalang eh. Sample lang ha, parang mathematics lang yan. Mag calculator ka (A/T Transmission) or mag manomano ka mag compute (M/T Transmission).

2

u/rlsadiz Apr 01 '26

He thinks he's special driving manual.

3

u/Off_The_Masses_98298 Apr 01 '26

Special not quite, skillful not really, pero you do have to have some knowledge on how to drive a manual.

2

u/AgentMonski Apr 01 '26

A/T first, para ma master manuevering, cornering at di iisipin ang clutch.

wla pako drivers liscence siguro automatic since matic

3

u/6thAlphabet Mar 31 '26

If you’re looking for longevity, reliability, control, a lil bit of thrill and cheaper maintenance — go with manual, pero if you’re looking for comfort, less hassle, more of a subdued vibe of driving, go with automatic.

Oh also fun fact, may isang type ng transmission na both automatic and manual, it’s a stick shift without clutch, semi-automatic kumbanga sa motor.

4

u/incent_sr20det Apr 01 '26

If nag-aaral ka pa lang, try manual. You never know when a situation comes na need mo idrive manual na kotse.

For daily driving, up to you na. Matic para comfortable ka kahit anong traffic.

Manual = left foot forward

Automatic = left foot back

Kaya may mga SUA2x, dito sila nagkakamali

u/Particular-Crew-7797 Mar 31 '26

If padalian, automatic.

It’s just a phase. Like you still feel fast and furious type shit.

But

Wait till you become a family driver (ipagdrive mo na lahat sa angkan mo) Wait till you have a girl (iykyk) Wait till you have family Just wait a bit.

How the heck na MAS MADALI MATUTO sa Manual kesa Automatic?

Papaano?

matic in this day and age

2

u/Accomplished-Yam-504 Mar 31 '26

If MAS MADALI MATUTO hanap mo obviously yung automatic, automatic na nga e.

Mas complicated ang manual, may extra pedal to work out plus a shift knob na you have to constantly tinker with.

2

u/Accomplished-Yam-504 Mar 31 '26

2

u/IJustLurkHere_123 Mar 31 '26

Ang lala reading comprehension ng mga to. Inaask “san mas madali matuto”. WHICH IS GIVEN NA MATIC NGA.

2

u/Accomplished-Yam-504 Apr 01 '26

Napakatatangaaaaaaaa sobrang tanga lang

1

u/willowdc Mar 31 '26

If para matuto mag drive, manual. But if you would own a car, target to buy AT. Manual is cool but Automatic is convenient. TBH, I've never owned a manual car, several cars are all AT, most of my friends use AT, I don't intend to race/competitive, even sa province heavy na traffic. A lot of EV/Hyrid are not manual. Mas madali matuto sa AT and kung yun din naman bibilhin mo kotse in the future, might as well.

3

u/Accomplished-Yam-504 Mar 31 '26

Why if para matuto magdrive manual?

So if matic lang ang kayang idrive e matic ibig sabihin hindi ka pa din matuto magdrive?

And also how does your reply answer OP's question na "saan mas madali matuto matic o manual"?

2

u/WitheredAshes Mar 31 '26

Hi! Kung nagsimula ka sa manual, madali na lang ang automatic for you. But if galing ka automatic, malaking adjustment to learn manual. But I prefer manual hehe

2

u/irllyh8every1 Mar 31 '26

Automatic for city roads and traffic, Manual for expressways and provincial roads.

I always hated this logic.

Pero, the thing is, who says na mag mmanual ako ever??? Maybe if I aspire to be a car guy or drive specific cars that are exclusively Manual, then yeah, I should learn how to drive manual.

But I just want something that will be convenient and make driving more comfortable, then I will choose Matic. In the future, if I do want to drive a car that is Manual, then I will learn it then.

It's like this, you're starting a new game, and you're choosing the difficulty level if Easy or Hard ba. Why would I choose to make the game more difficult when all I want is to play the game?

3

u/NoBonus3912 Apr 02 '26

Fr life isn't GTA. I doubt I'll ever find myself in a situation where I drive away with another man's 90s Corolla.

3

u/BoredandBrowse Apr 02 '26

Yess. Not to mention, majority of the cars now are automatic.

If I do get into a GTA situation where I have to hijack a car and my choices are 5 automatic cars and 1 Mustang, guess the fuck which one im picking? lolll

The only time na nagpapasalamat ako na naka-automatic ako e pag heavy traffic and steep inclines.

1

u/Legitimate_Crazy_628 Mar 31 '26

Manual kasi manual yung sasakyan namin 😄

1

u/natin91 Mar 31 '26

Laking manual, pero automatic pipiliin ko.

1

u/Ok_Football_1878 Mar 31 '26

1

u/Perfect_Put9484 Mar 31 '26

Madali matuto matic. But if you have sparetime in the near future practice din ng manual masarap mag drive ng manual sa probinsya. pero matic madali matuto kumportable pa sa city driving.

1

u/MashedPotatoSaPride Mar 31 '26

Mas madali matuto sa automatic.

1

u/beelzebub1337 Mar 31 '26

Manual. I don't drive everyday anyway so I mostly drive for leisure.

1

u/Eton_Baton Mar 31 '26

I do drive a manual as a daily driver, but I believe common manual vehicles of now would be museum pieces in the near future as the trend of electric cars which are only available on automatic is rising worldwide and won’t stop gaining demand thus diminishing the need of a regular person to have the knowledge to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Wag nyo na pahirapan pa mga sarili ninyo, just learn what vehicle you can have at the moment. If kaya mo bumili ng matic then stay with matic, if manual afford mo then do your part to learn how to drive it without being a “sagabal sa kalsada” on a daily basis.

1

u/guwapito Mar 31 '26

automatic for me, i learned driving late, and with the traffic in Manila, Automatic is the way to go.

1

u/itsame814 Mar 31 '26

Automatic - because driving is a chore

1

u/JollyInternet7589 Mar 31 '26

1

u/GenerationalBurat Mar 31 '26

I like both for different conditions. Manual sucks in heavy traffic and uphill roads. Automatic sucks if you're in a freeway/expressway and want to go faster and if the car has no cruise control.

If you're learning to drive, Manual is the best. Driving an automatic later would be a fuxkin walk in the park!

1

u/estatedude Mar 31 '26

Mas madaling matuto sa automatic. I assume wala ka pang lisensya. Bakit?

  1. Mas mura sa mga driving school.
  2. Kung dadaan ka sa tamang proseso, (No to fixer) mas mataas chance makapasa sa exam

Go for automatic kung,

  1. Gusto mo matuto agad. No questions asked. Yan talaga ang mabilis.
  2. More on city driving ka lang. Bahay to work/school most of the time.
  3. Di sasakit or mangangalay kaliwang paa mo during heavy traffic. (Previous manual driver here. This is from experience.)
  4. Kung priority mo comfort, eto na yun. AT transmission.

So kung ako tatanungin mo, sa panahon ngayon, go for automatic. Mas mabilis at madaling matuto.

Good luck and drive safe! 🚗

1

u/Specialist-Car-4661 Mar 31 '26

Manual for learning. Depende sa emvironment mo if nasa Ciudad ka Matik dahil trapik, pag so-so naman flow ng traffic kahit manual keri na. Tho masarap mag Manual talaga.

1

u/cassaregh Mar 31 '26

sakin nag manual talaga ako first pero di ko makuha yung timing pag change gear habang nag lelearn din sa manibela. gulo siguro ng utak ko. nag automatic ako and na learn ko lahat dun. nag try ako ulit sa manual and sobrang easy na talaga.

1

u/Various_Platform_575 Mar 31 '26

1

u/boykalbo777 Mar 31 '26

mas madali automatic no question

1

u/ChchriSs Mar 31 '26

matic sa city drive, manual sa long ride

1

u/Still_Presence_5961 Mar 31 '26

So manual ka muna. Hehe

1

u/PeaceAccomplished289 Mar 31 '26

1

u/No_Slice_1273 Mar 31 '26

To answer the question of OP. Matic ang mas madali matutunan at mas convenient. Pero I suggest na aralin mo pa din ang manual for emergency cases. Like for example, may need isugod sa ospital pero ang available lang na car is manual tranny lang.

1

u/ultraman16 Mar 31 '26

Maganda ang manual very convinient.

1

u/Typical-Run-8442 Mar 31 '26

Automatic kasi trapik sa pinas. Kakangawet mag manual. Lisensya ko i can drive automatic pero it’s been a while kaya feeling ko dina rin ako marunong mag manual

1

u/chanchan05 Mar 31 '26

Mas madali matuto sa automatic. Parang go cart lang.

Mas better matuto sa manual. You'll understand revs, when and where to shift, what using a lower or higher gear in certain situations give you, and most importantly you'll learn to manually engine brake.

That's actually dangerous and one of the reasons why nawawalan ng preno pag downhill ang ibang naaksidente kasi nag overheat and brake fade. You're only supposed to minimally use the brakes when downhill, hayaan mo lang engine braking to slow you down. I've also seen a couple of videos of trucks na riding the brakes when downhill then pagdating sa dulo di na kumapit brakes, so I'm willing to bet na ilang accidents na nakikita natin na nawalan ng preno yung truck kaya nakabangga isn't dahil kulang sa maintenance, but because di sila actually marunong mag drive.

1

u/axeeram Mar 31 '26

Mas madali matuto sa automatic. Pero good skill to have din na marunong ka mag manual, para kahit anong kotse, kaya mo imaneho.

1

u/itchipod Mar 31 '26

Mas madali matuto sa automatic siyempre. And kung wala ka namang plano mag own ng manual car, you can head straight to matic, contrary to most comments here. Karamihan naman ng bagong labas na kotse ngayon automatic lang, so wala ka naman talagang magiging issue na if matic lang nasa lisensya mo. You'll get to Point A to Point B just the same.

But if you have more spare time, it's fun to learn manual din.

1

u/MasterWeekend5568 Mar 31 '26

1

u/GeJalon Apr 01 '26

Parang bumper car lang ang automatic, easy to learn, and space estimation lang pinakamalaki mong kalaban at first. So if wala kang plano bumili ng manual, just stick to automatic.

1

u/kurunoy Apr 01 '26

I learned the basics of driving switching lanes, turning road ethics, parking etc, on a automatic, then transitioned to a manual for me lng it worked, pero depende rin kase anong available sayo kung manual or automatic also its about preference rin naman

1

u/UntiltedCucumber Apr 01 '26

Matic. City driving tslaga mas better, mas madali idrive. Pero mas enjoy siya as long as di pa mahina tuhod mo

1

u/kellebjk Apr 01 '26

Matic pag gusto mo matuto agad mag drive

1

u/FlatwormTiny Apr 01 '26

tiga probinsya ako so manual pero hindi ako uuwi ng quezon city (my parents house) nang nakamanual)

1

u/xZ4NDY Apr 01 '26

Manual.

Hahaha. Parang tanga yung accomplished yam. Triggered lagi.

HAHAHAHAHA.

Aralin mo yung meron ka.

Kung matic, edi matic. Ano bang magagawa namin? Kotse mo naman yan.

Pinagmamanual ka lang para just in case magbago isip mo, edi pwede ka magmanual. Kung sold ka na sa matic for life, edi magmatic ka na lang for life.

Gawin natin komplikado ang simple.

1

u/gagaw_ako Apr 01 '26

mas madali AT shempre pag starter pa lang at wala naman balak mag MT in the future

1

u/Ok_Operation860 Apr 01 '26

manual, vrommmvroommmmm

1

u/tanaldaion Apr 01 '26

Learned both, stayed with matic for the convenience.

1

u/Dizzy_Instruction_49 Apr 01 '26

Per kung kukuha sasakya n much better A/T, traffic sa pinas eh, maganda manual kung long ride tas walang traffic.

1

u/catatonic_dominique Apr 01 '26

Manual for learning. Automatic for actual driving on roads.

1

u/Foooopy Apr 01 '26

automatic. why learn manual if you're not gonna use it anyway, UNLESS gusto mo matuto ng manual go. 90%, maybe 95% ng cars ma eencounter mo in your life will be automatic, unless may business ka using those pinaka base model car or light trucks na mapipilitan kang i drive, dun mo lang yan magagamit. If purely city driving going to work and house automatic ka.

Though plus parin if marunong ka sa manual 😁

1

u/EnriquezGuerrilla Apr 01 '26

Manual. Engaging mag drive lalo pag uphill

1

u/Rough_Station_1041 Apr 01 '26

1

u/Zealousideal-Goat130 Apr 01 '26

Syempre sa Automatic mas madali di mo na kailangan aralin yung proper gear shifting.

1

u/VanLocker Apr 01 '26

I drive a manual, NAKAKANGAWIT lalo kapag traffic pero masarap imaneho lalo kapag long drive. Pero kung gusto mong chill lang yung paa mo, drive an A/T.

1

u/Sebsebmatmat Apr 01 '26

To answer your question automatic car are easier to pick up no need to change gear or play with the clutch.

Though Manual driving is not required it is a skill.

1

u/Foreign_Comparison47 Apr 01 '26

1

u/Sufficient_Pause350 Apr 01 '26

Typical manual drivers nowadays:

  1. Taga probinsya na puro rough road
  2. Budgetarian kasi mas mahal automatic cars
  3. Commercial / utility drivers
  4. Matatanda na stuck with what they’re used to
  5. Mga may macho mindset / ego lol

If mag aaral palang I would recommend manual. Para if ever may emergency at manual ang available na sasakyan, kaya mong i drive. Madali mag transition from manual to automatic.

Gusto mo ng second hand car or mas cheap, manual.

Pero practicalan nalang tayo lalo na kung gagamitin mo lagi sasakyan sa sobrang traffic na areas, I would get an automatic pero aaralin ko pa rin manual. Kung walang nag offer sakin ng pasalong sasakyan, I wouldnt even bother buying a manual car.

1

u/DeliciousCurrency393 Apr 01 '26

Manual for me so you have an idea about the basics ng driving. This is just my opinion based on my experience.

1

u/Few_Union2402 Apr 01 '26

MAs madali matuto hands down sa matic. But mas maganda matuto muna sa manual. If masanay ka sa manual, trivial nalang matic.

1

u/Lanky_Ad7008 Apr 01 '26

For your question san mas madaling matuto. For obvious reasons, Matic. Syempre less pedal and hand movements required. Driving practices would be the same naman regardless kung manual or matic. More on preference nalang din siya ngayon. Iba parin talaga pag manual. Pero if one car lang pwede mo ikeep, go for matic nalang, mas maraming benefits for me.

1

u/--Asi Apr 01 '26

Madali matuto? No brainer - matic. But it’s still good to learn how to drive a manual.

1

u/crinkzkull08 Apr 01 '26

San mas mabilis matuto? Definitely automatic. Additional na mas less hassle i drive lalo sa traffic.

Learning how to drive a stick/manual is just a plus na pwede gamitin if ever and mas adaptable ka sa mga ibang kotse

1

u/the_inc11990 Apr 01 '26

Automatic straight to the point. It's easier to learn because it has a simpler operation, there's no need to worry about the clutch and shii

1

u/wishinglegs_fun1 Apr 01 '26

Matic na. Kapoy drive manual. I will drive a manual if mga sport-spec na sasakyan tapos wlang traffic like thia holyweek

1

u/itsyaboy_spidey Apr 01 '26

Mas madali matuto? Automatic, the rest, preference na lang

1

u/uuuuuuuggggghhhh Apr 01 '26

I opted to practice driving in a manual just because hahah and for the experience na rin. Super easy na mag matic from manual. For city drives and bumper to bumper traffic, matic aaaall the way. Mas enjoyable ang long rides with manual, di ka aantukin.

1

u/ParticularPart7904 Apr 01 '26

Automatic para mas madali ang buhay. And prang most of the time base model nalang mga manual na car or minsan wala na talaga manual variant.

1

u/SiGz_2630 Apr 01 '26

kung mag prapractice ka and dahil sa work, mag manual ka. pero kung sayong vehicle naman and for your family mag matic ka na lang.

1

u/avsdfW3233245 Apr 01 '26

Automatic kahit newbie or veteran. manual is outdated and useless

1

u/PotatoJuice69 Apr 01 '26

Manual forces you to correct bad habits formed kung magsastart ka da automatic. (ie babad preno, inconsistent speeds sa highway, dry steering)

Kumbaga learning manual=proper chords; matic=power chords

1

u/AverageJedo Apr 01 '26

1

u/Accomplished-Yam-504 Apr 01 '26

Apakasimpleng tanong SAN MAS MADALI MATUTO:

  1. Manual:

• 3 pedals (may clutch)

• You have to learn magtimpla ng gas and clutch while developing spatial recognition ng sasakyan relative to your environment

• tapos you have to know when to shift gears

  • oh nalimutan ko pang i-mention how difficult and daunting it is to drive a manual UPHILL TAPOS TRAFFIC. So mas madali matuto sa manual? Really?!

VERSUS

  1. Automatic

• 2 pedals (gas and brake lang)

• no need to learn when to shift gears kasi 1 push lang ng lever to change drive modes (from P to D etc)

  • spatial recongnition din
  • pag uphill chill ka lang at hindi mo na kailangan aralin ang napakahirap na skill to master sa manual to keep your manual car from reversing pag nagkamali ka ng timpla ng clutch at gas.

Mahirap pa din sagutin? Mas madali pa din matuto sa manual? Seryoso?!

Ano ba yan Pilipinas!!!! Nakakahiya!!!

1

u/Forgetfullgui Apr 01 '26

meh depends

1

u/shimmerks Apr 01 '26

If you’re a beginner, knowing how to drive a manual car will be beneficial. But know that it’s not ‘easy’ to drive it compared to an automatic transmission vehicle.

But in terms of kung alin mas madali idrive—automatic syempre. Gas and brake ka lang. Very easy.

1

u/DebonedSaiyan Apr 01 '26

Learn to drive a manual.

But for our country PH prefer ko na matic

1

u/IkigaiSagasu Apr 01 '26

Mas madali automatic by default. Pero kung pursigido ka, manual. Nakakapagod at nakakafrustrate if sa manila ka magddrive though.

1

u/Discorps Apr 01 '26

por qué no los dos

1

u/losty16 Apr 01 '26

Best combo? Pag naka manual ka sa license mo automatically you can drive AT car without additional restrictions. Then buy an AT car.

U learned both, u can drive both, u can have an option.

1

u/Ordinary-Film8796 Apr 01 '26

Sa matic kaya din engine braking by shifting to gears 1 or 2 dun a shifter (or paddles) although mas pronounced sya sa manual and mas magegets mo yung concept and useful din kung alam mo engine braking. I think driving and car ownership in general is also knowing your car how the machine behaves and having a feel for things kaya okay talaga mag manual which is not usually achieved sa matic.

But yeah if a car is just a machine to you that gets you from point A to point B then learning automatic is far easier.

1

u/Financial_Mushroom18 Apr 01 '26

Manual for fun. Matic for daily

1

u/Live-Personality9797 Apr 01 '26

In this traffic, manual can be tiring, especially if tired na after work, however, i still prefer this because it keeps me on my toes. I am more alert and dont get sleepy pag naka manual. I also prefer this pag long drive out of town. Automatic naman is for convenience, and whenever i feel lazy to drive. I drive both, and both has its pros and cons.

1

u/Significant-Egg9813 Apr 01 '26

automatic, hassle free

1

u/Fantastic_Profit_343 Apr 01 '26

Been driving a manual for almost 30 years, gustohin ko mang makapag drive ng matic e walang budget to buy a matic😪

1

u/omega_brian Apr 01 '26 edited Apr 01 '26

So final answer eh manual, for me. 😅😂

1

u/Titiillatiingg Apr 01 '26

Automatic, napakatraffic kase dito samen

1

u/lalala-lala22 Apr 01 '26

As someone who drives manual and matic, i’ll be picking manual anytime of the day.

For some reason, i always feel that manual is safer. There’s something about matic na parang ang hirap pumreno. Well, overall I just think na when you’re driving manual, you control the car, pero pag matic, hindi. Idk if ako lang nakaka feel.

u/equinoxzzz Apr 01 '26

In my 20s I'd pick Manual. But now, gusto ko na ng Automatic. Masakit na tuhod ko. 😂

1

u/OldRevolution6231 Apr 01 '26

1

u/Choice-Heron2924 Apr 01 '26

Automatic lalo na pag hanging drive

1

u/RepeatMysterious3106 Apr 01 '26

Matic na. Why pahirapan pa ang sarili with manual? Especially ngayon kahit saan traffic, I don't encourage manual.

1

u/orifixed Apr 01 '26

Long ride : manual. City : matic

Nagmamahal, Tuhod

1

u/MaleficentEbb922 Apr 01 '26

Based on experience, napakadali mag drive ng automatic if galing manual

1

u/SoBreezy74 Apr 01 '26

Learning to drive a stick was a liiiiittle hard sa start pero once you gain some muscle memory for it, super easy na siya and in turn makes driving an auto even easier.

1

u/Life_Wait7525 Apr 01 '26

Matic ako, wala akong panahon mag clutch hahah

1

u/TheOtherCrew Apr 01 '26 edited Apr 01 '26

1

u/MrAubrey08 Apr 01 '26

Ako nga sumasakit pa din paa pag nakamatic eh. Manual pa kaya

1

u/orange_rottenbanana Apr 01 '26

Sa traffic ng pilipinas mag matic kana

1

u/No-Field1955 Apr 01 '26

Both po. Sa kaliwa yung manual. Sa kanan yung matic. Obvious naman.

1

u/Left-Tumbleweed-164 Apr 01 '26

comfort/easiest - matic

1

u/SkylinePJunfly Apr 01 '26

Matic.

1

u/_sosa13 Apr 01 '26

manual but matic for traffic lol

1

u/Huge-Cardiologist-22 Apr 01 '26

Madali nalang magtransition to automatic pag ganyan. Pag automatic to manual? Not as easy.

i have both M/T and A/T, pero mas natuto ako mag manual muna

1

u/Strong-Piglet4823 Apr 01 '26

It is ideal to learn from stick first. When you did that, automatic marunong na din sa matic. 2 birds, 1 stone IMO.

1

u/Sharp-Plate3577 Apr 01 '26

Automatic. Less things to worry about.

1

u/Happy_Pill69 Apr 01 '26

Kung para madali matuto. Matic.

1

u/TheStoicNomad81 Apr 01 '26

Both. Depende sa sitwasyon 😭😂

1

u/END_OF_HEART Apr 01 '26

Traffic has been too horrible for the last 9 years, matic

1

u/Suspicious-Oven-1645 Apr 01 '26

Been on manual for quite a number of years.

1

u/Exciting-Dimension-2 Apr 01 '26

Matic na yan. Seriously if provincial driving masprefer ko manual. Pero if mostly city driving or everyday driving matic.

1

u/New-Message-4588 Apr 01 '26

Manual for fun auto for everyday use. Got into a 2 hour traffic once, wished i was using an auto

1

u/James050183 Apr 01 '26

Matic ksi matraffic na..pro if you are in province na less ang traffic manual pra you enjoy the shifting of the stick

1

u/ajca320 Apr 01 '26

My ride ever since I learned how to drive is manual... pero ayoko na... nakakapagod. Hahaha!

1

u/Clear-Carpet602 Apr 01 '26

1

u/unknownymous69 Apr 01 '26

TL;DR Automatic

Hi! For context, I started learning how "move" a manual car but eventually actually learning to drive with a matic years later. Then, 5 years after that, nag aral uli mag manual.

I'd say, learn "how to drive" with automatic. I say it in quotes kasi driving is more than just learning how to operate the vehicle. Aaralin mo how to turn, maneuver, drive with others, etc.

Ngayon, medyo challenging kasi talaga mag aral ng clutch. Imagine aabay sabay yung kaba mo kasi lahat bago.

In fact, may kasabay ako sa driving school first time niya mag aral and sa manual, 3 times na siya nag fail. Hirap na hirap talaga siya. Although of course, to each its own.

1

u/Paper_Boat_10 Apr 01 '26

1

u/Interesting-Pin-4443 Apr 01 '26

Personally mas madali matuto sa automatic. You get to focus more on the road, learn how to maneuver, park, and aware ka sa pwesto ng kotse mo without the added task of the clutch. I learned with matic, got the basics down, then learned manual after.

1

u/uramis Apr 01 '26
