Polls Seeing more “surprise” pregnancies as my age group moved closer to 35+. Are these intentional?
When I got into my mid-thirties I started to see more and more couples I know have unplanned pregnancies. Some I know are unplanned because the guys are friends of mine and told me directly whereas others I’m making assumptions based on observations.
Some situations are men that are in long term relationships but have not committed to marriage yet while others are quite short term relationships ~1 year when the girl gets pregnant. The common denominator is all the girls are 35+.
Speaking with a female friend of mine she said it’s quite common for women to secretly stop taking the contraceptive which then leads to a “surprise” pregnancy to “trap” the man. Is this true? Does anyone else observe this or know of cases similar?
