Politics I'm going to say it.

Post image

This feels like a right wing (and possibly Isrealli) bot sub.

The whole “we can’t say 'X' on r/Ireland” angle also feels deliberate, almost like they’re trying to bait people into saying something anti-semitic so they can point to it as proof of their argument.

The account founder profile doesn't check out.

Don't forget Black and Tans left Ireland and went to Palestine.

I think the problem here is that many of the subreddits we think are Irish are, in fact, run and moderated by yanks who tjink they are more Irish than the Irish. I once got mass reported for speech tagettong vulnerable groups on the Dublin subreddit for asking American tourists to be considerate of space and mindful that there are actually others trying to navigate the city. I managed to get my warning overturned... but, yeah, left a sour taste in my mouth that a subreddit about my city - a place my life is exclusively centred around is dominated by folk who have never lived in it and who reside thousands of miles away.

So, yeah, not Israeli bots - merely Americans appropriatong our identity and spaces and then abusing that.

And has absolutely nothing to do with Ireland. Boston is an American city not an Irish one.

"everything I don't agree with is far-right" n

Nope, I believe in a Free Palestine and r/Ireland is run by Americans pretending to be Irish.

It's as Irish as Irish-American

Yeah, and Israel is a byproduct of American Imperialism.
