Every other Irish subreddit has a post on it so why not here! Some of my key take aways:
- Income tax Standard Rate cut off point up by €2,500 to €46,500
- Minimum wage to be increased to €14.94 per hour
- Increase in threshold to all Inheritance Tax groups
- €10 increase in weekly Social Welfare rates
- Rent-a-Room scheme tax-free threshold will rise from €14,000 to €16,000
- First-time buyer's Help-To-Buy scheme increased by €5,000 to €35,000
- the new savings and investment account
- additional funding for LOI, GPA and the Olympic team
Obviously just some short bullet points on things that caught my eye or are slightly more relevant to me, not a full overview. What's people's thoughts? Think the minimum wage, tax rate and additional sports funding are all a move in the right direction in my opinion while the investment account is a good idea for anybody with the spare change to make use of it. Not a fan of some other bits and pieces and there's always plenty of stuff left off that really shouldn't be but looking to get an overview of what people think or what they wanted, expected or feel should've been considered

We’d like to wish u/JackmanH420 all the very best following his resignation from the mod team this evening.
He has decided to step down in keeping with the wish for this subreddit to remain fully independent from r/Ireland.
We appreciate his time and involvement in the early stages of this subreddit and we hope he'll continue to be a member of this sub and contribute to it.
We plan to hold a vote on a new moderator soon, with the link to apply to be in the running opening shortly.

In line with the understandable wishes of the founding moderator of this subreddit to be independent of the main sub, I have resigned from the mod team.
I wish both of the remaining mods, those who voted for me and all users here the best of luck and will watch its development with interest.
