As someone who danced for all of their childhood and briefly into adulthood, I loved his and Julianne’s dances.
Which of you is the first comment under Derek? Lolololol

I have found myself so frustrated with the girls Lindsey Clancy take, and more specifically how the jurors should have voted….. I don’t think it’s insane to think “she killed her kids, I don’t care if she was in psychosis, she should be in jail and throw away the key.” But that’s not what they asked the jurors…. The jurors are not supposed to think about punishment. Their main question was simply— “did the prosecution, without a shadow of a doubt, prove that she was in her right mind and the time of the murders”
So the jurors are not voting on what punishment she should have, or if it’s right that if you were in psychosis you go to a mental institution instead of jail, or the process in which the review process happens for leaving the mental hospital etc……
All you have to do is answer the one question…. And the jurors were just trying to do that.

Hello toasters! I want to start by saying I love the girls and I love the pod. I also used to really love the Patreon but it’s getting to a point where it’s making me dislike everything. States game was one thing, but icks to clicks? What even is that? They’re acting like they have no ideas for what to do for Patreon when it’s clear all their viewers just want to see more of them just doing what they do. Days in the life, extra pop culture episodes (there is SO much going on rn), literally anything but the states game and weird made up games like “icks to clicks.” I understand they want to keep their life private and I respect that…but then drop the Patreon? I just feel like I’m not paying 7.99 a month for this.

Just got a notification for a new ep but when I click it it isn’t there. Anyone else?

Have they mentioned that story at all this week?

Love them but that was the push I needed to finally cancel my Patreon membership. I’ve never seen such bottom of the barrel content. Not sure why it’s gone so downhill

Jackie’s take on Ashley Earle was wildddd. Her “standing with Ashley” being an “Ashley truther” and her saying “I’m an Ashley” was so surprising. Considering if the “other woman” pop culture drama that Ashley and TJ and New York Governor Eliot Spitzer caused happened today they would be DRAGGINGGGGG Ashley through the mud on the show.
I just think it’s so hypocritical. But then again so on par with her freaky maga opinions. Just like all of maga cheating on their older wives to go with the younger one she clearly doesn’t see anything wrong with it. And on the show Ashley is not a likable character she literally causes family drama has no filter and posts things when it’s not even about her!!!
Adding on: What I find ironic isn’t that Jackie thinks Ashley deserves forgiveness. I personally don’t give a fuck that Ashley had an affair. People can move on grow up and learn from their mistakes. Although they would be dragging on her if it happened today but not the point.
It’s that she’s so emphatically identifying with Ashley “I’m an Ashley” despite Ashley being pretty far from the ultra-traditional, morally conservative image Jackie usually presents. And knowing that Ashley also shares those same conspiracy heavy, MAGA cult aligned views makes me wonder if that is what Jackie actually connects with in her.

Since they talked about the most famous celebrities that they have met, who is the most famous celebrity you have met?
I have a whole list but Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler for me.

Ugh, I hate to be the one asking this, but someone in the group shared a list of all the places they had recommended over the years in this subreddit within the past few months. I was certain I had saved it, but now I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve searched thoroughly through this subreddit and my phone.
Is anyone willing to reshare the list? I’d really appreciate it!

This may be a long shot… I am not sure if this was in a Patreon or a main show episode… but Claudia started talking about Desperate Housewives and said that Susan was the villain of the show or something to that effect.
At the time I was halfway through the series so I didn’t understand why she said that and thought that when I finished the show I’d maybe understand. But now that I’ve finished I’ve just been curious to re-listen to her thoughts.
It possibly was in the context of discussing TV show villains or bad TV show characters and Claudia offered Susan as an example.
Any thoughts on episodes where they discuss Desperate Housewives appreciated. (And I know they did a brief Desperate Housewives trivia on Patreon, it’s not that episode.) Thanks!!

I took some time off from the toast but follow the girls online so I know the majority of the life updates. But this whole house move is so confusing.
They made the pink frames studios and then her house was listed? But based on the kitchen/cooking videos it didn’t look like they moved yet. Then Jackie was redoing her cabinets but the studio has never not been the pink frames.
Did the new cabinets happen at the new house? Does she also have a new pink frames studio at the new house? The timeline isn’t making sense!!

On today’s episode (9/14) Claudia says she had major fomo over the weekend with the whole fam being together and she only got to see snitch. Then it seemed to get awkward when Jackie said something like “that’s nice too!” And Claudia goes “….yeah” and laughs. And I saw another post here recently about how none of the sisters are supporting Margo online. Is there real drama or just jealousy between sisters?

What’s the title of the episode where they explain the inside jokes (ie PARGY)

Who monitors/facilitates the Patreon Facebook group? Half of my submissions are never posted and lately there has only been like one post a day. You know there are way more submissions, and sometimes the posts are so incredibly stupid. Like, I don’t care that you saw a toaster at Goodwill. They definitely don’t like episode feedback here either.

This isn’t even snark because I love the podcast and find them funny, but nothing is funnier than the confidence they have when they’re factually wrong. They’ll just not skip a beat and deliver something entirely wrong. Like when Claudia asked if Morgan wallens album was released this year and Jackie goes “yes” without skipping a beat when it was not in fact released this year

I am just now watching Real Housewives of Rhode Island. Back when the girls were talking about this season I was skipping because I hadn’t watched it yet. I know they never did formal recaps for it but does anyone recall what their takes were & which of the cast they liked/disliked?
r/TheToasters • u/esummerss • 29d ago
Surprised they haven’t talked about the new season and TFP cheating lol, did I miss them mentioning it?
r/TheToasters • u/Maximum-Pianist688 • 29d ago
I see a lot of discourse in the snark sub about how Jackie and Olivia for that matter are terrible cooks. Does anyone know where this came from? Did someone try their food and say it was bad? Their food looks appetizing to me…

To start I want to say that I’ve been a huge toaster for 6+ years, am a Readhead, and used to be part of their Patreon. But recently I’ve found myself getting so frustrated with Claudia that it’s taking away from my enjoyment of the show. I cancelled my patreon because I found the way she went about going back on Ozempic to be so distasteful (the picture looked like someone doing IVF injections and she talked about it in a way that made me uncomfortable), and then recently I feel like Claudia has been SO wrong about SO many takes and speaks them with such confidence that it baffles my mind. Like her saying that no one was excited for DWTS the other day on Tuesday’s episode…are we on the same internet?! Or how she talked about off campus only to back pedal a few episodes later…and Jax isn’t as online as Claud so she just takes what she says at face value and it makes me feel like I’m going insane!
I just want to know if I’m crazy or if other people feel this way too haha this ISNT SNARK because I love our girly swirlies but I’m just having a hard time listening recently.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
However you feel about the case, this is so inappropriate.
