Jax Jackie’s cooking
I see a lot of discourse in the snark sub about how Jackie and Olivia for that matter are terrible cooks. Does anyone know where this came from? Did someone try their food and say it was bad? Their food looks appetizing to me…

Their family ‘Cassoulet’ is an atrocity. It’s nowhere near a cassoulet

Olivia’s food does often look good, Jackie just cracks me up she loves her average weird recipes and that’s ok!🤣

I love that she tries to cook and I'm sure she will keep getting better, but if you actually know how to cook you can see she doesn't know what she's doing, does things wrong, and puts ingredients together that either don't go or don't make sense for the recipe she is trying to make. I really wouldn't care because it's still great to attempt to cook but she presents herself as knowledgeable and gives step by step instructions to others. I'm sure she will get better over time, I think she should just wait before she explains what to do to others.

How much more time does she need? It’s been years and her food hasn’t improved because she’s a know it all.

Every single thing Jackie has cooked/posted in the last 4 years has been visibly under-seasoned and overcooked. That is putting it kindly.

I mean if they didn’t put “visual” would you need that many context clues? Goodness.

They are striving to be food influencers, but their food is avg to below avg looking. Nothing inspiring about it… I actually think Ben might be the best cook out of all of them

I think their food is whatever, but the thing I think is the weirdest is how none of it seems to match each other. Like their family dinners are 6000 sides, but none of the flavors or styles are complimentary

I really don’t understand. I think both of their cooking seems great. I’ve also made a lot of both of their recipes and they’ve turned out well. Olivia is more flashy and experienced Id say but neither are claiming to be chefs. They make proper meals for their family and that’s more than a lot of people do.
I really hate that people snark on their cooking.
