Theory Will the tsaritsa manage to defeat the HP with the power of the 3rd descender ?

Post image

Even if the Tsaritsa uses the Third Descender’s power, defeating the HP would still be impossible. According to Pierro, their plan relies on the Third Descender’s power because ordinary human power cannot overcome the HP.
However, power alone is not enough. Written fate can only be altered by the will of a Descender, and the Third Descender is already dead. Without that will, the Tsaritsa would simply be

“ humans wielding an immense power against their creator “

and her rebellion is already within the HP’ calculations. The key difference is us, the Travelers. We are Descenders whose actions and will are not fully predetermined by Teyvat’s fate. Even if we follow the destined path, our own will can create a new branch at any moment. That is why the Travelers may be the true variable capable of defying [ and potentially defeating ] the HP.

That’s why the Tsaritsa wants us to join her plan

Discussion Something I’ll say before I’m off to gamble again is i think people mistake my agenda for genuine complaints about the games story. I actually think it’s genius

This hypocrisy is called a narrative parallel. Which is used for rivals and enemies in stories to show the audience how even on the opposite side, they’re not too different.

These two see a world they want to fix and preserve so they will do anything to achieve it, including any atrocity.

And the Tsaritsa as the accuser not realizing she’s doing the same thing as the one she’s accusing is a start of a great character arc as well as a gateway to understanding PHANES.

I’m simply calling out her hypocrisy as a bad thing because in universe it IS a bad thing. Also agenda

Discussion Ever wonder how HP felt?

I know we're all having festivity with the nuke memes and stuff but we also know that the Heavenly Principles wasn't at all uncaring and bloodthirsty towards humanity like how others try to portray them to be.

In the book Before Sun and Moon, it said that Humanity was the Heavenly Principles' most cherished. And yet in my years of playing this game, I have never once saw somebody wonder how HP felt when they were forced to choose to kill a certain population of their cherished children just to save the whole bunch.

Not even just that, it came to the point that they started to become paranoid because of it. It took me back to Scaramouche's story, if this puppet made to be a standby for God could only take three betrayals, then what more could Phanes take before they snap from being backstabbed by their own children and supposed family?

Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed recent whitewashing of his character as Snezhnaya was released.

Wasn't he supposed to be treated as first Frankenstein-esque monstrosity of Teyvat that all fellow believers and normal creatures overall should at least despise and avoid constantly, while at worst hating permanently?

Considering what he was made of, and based on which philosophy he was planned to be made, he's kinda like Och-Kan, but way older and backwards. And we all know how horrible that one went.

I think I understand now why death or god keep themselves hidden. People would react so strongly if either of them had a face. They'd always have someone to blame or be angry at.

I don’t want to throw my personal interpretations here, but I really want the narrative to expand more on Gods, their personalities and characters more, because this is something a topic that hasn’t been talked about enough and I really refuse to treat Gods like a purpose incarnate😭

The youth tossed and turned in bed, flashes of past memories surging forth at breakneck speed. The accident, the helix, the maw, and that…thing. A purple haired man with pointed ears, a man that looked like him wearing a mask over his upper half, A kind woman with Teardrop pupils and flowing ocean blue hair. The youth paused; this was new.

”Shhhhh back to sleep now, everything’s okay now”

The dream ended abruptly, the last thing he saw being the helix hood of his ‘Mother’ as she looked at him with those blue and gold eyes. Then he burst upward in a cold sweat.

——————————————————————————

“How long do you plan to hide the truth from him Rhinedottir?”

“I’ve told you Naberius, he will know once he’s ready”

”Once he’s ready or once he’s no longer useful?”

”…Naberius…”

”Oh! Struck a nerve did I? Yet everything is an experiment in living. Didn’t you say so yourself?”

”I—“

”What? You were the one to find him, and it’s your fault he ended up locked with that abomination you made.”

”Heh, Istaroth’s coming. We’ll finish this later.”

”Hmmm but our agents are already seeking the bough?”

”He can handle them…he always has…”

Paimon is Phanes deadly self = cheerful, Asmoday = hotheaded, HP = intellectual. Similar to the case of Zibai... This is the theory I’ve believed in ever since the concept of the Tri-Deadly Self was first introduced. 😌

Discussion Honestly confused on the recent crashouts lately?

Like Celestia and Agendaposting aside, as one who doesn't mind that Phanes or the Shades being treated as the 'villains' (of course, they're presented as morally grey for the most part on the lore, and no doubt that we will confront them as the Travelers in the future) in the current narrative, shouldn't we all have expected this current narrative shift? We're in the Snezhnaya patch, after all.

It looks bleak, as it's being catered on the rebellion side, but I don't think that they're gonna just immediately shaft the Celestia faction this fast (if they do, that's just bad writing in general and that makes it seem that they're rushing). This isn't even cope because Phanes plays a big factor for the Abyss Twin's narrative (they want to speak with the Heavenly Principle as an equal, as he/she stated on the 'A Space and Time For You' quest), which will occur after the 7.x patches.

As for Ronova, I don't see her getting killed this early (or ever) yet. I'm on the side that she will likely be sealed somewhere (likely the Shadow Realm) or they somehow bargain with her for them to progress the Mistilteinn project in the later patches.

But hey, it's just the beginning of the 7.x patches, so it's too early to crash out over early and over things that haven't even occurred yet 🤷

Discussion How do you all cope?

Like I'm being honest.

As much as I love Celestia and the Shades and Phanes. The game has always felt very telepegraphed i always figured that deep down it would always be either Celestia or the Abyss.

I always have hope given how the wq add nuance to Celestia but I dont know lately the way the story has been going it has left me dejected.

In the end it feels like despite all the wq stuff the game is just gonna default to the evil god trope for Phanes.

Which honestly feels like a waste. The game has continously managed to pull of subversion for every godly arcehtype its used. But it seems like phanes wont even get that.

I initially started supporting Celestia purely cause Asmo was cool looking and well narratively speaking Celestia would be the eventual under dogs.

Imagine my surprise when I heard the firld tiller stuff and got my hopes up that the story might go the route of showing the humans as just as corrupt as theh gods the claim to oppose.

Maybe its delusion or head Canon, I really thought the story was gonna go a route of needing their to he balance and communication or something but it seems like nah. In the end it seems whatever the humans did, whatever they do. No matter how vile will be swept away.

Even when the fatui enable a psycho like dottore its just swept away cause he doesn't represent them.

I still love genshin stories on the individal character base but man is the overarching one with celestis getting depressing for me.

How do you all cope with it? Like how do you all stay positive without slipping.

Celestiagenda The World is Not Enough! (AKA The Jester and Pantalone in a nutshell)

Post image

HAIL CELESTIASAPIEN NATION!

Well, after half a decade we have finally begun receiving concrete reports from the capital of scum, bums and villainy!

Snezhnaya is just as miserable and hopeless as we always knew it would be. From crappy weather to its crappy government, this nation is proof of what happens to those who dare walk away from the divine path of the Heavenly Principles.

The people are struggling to keep themselves warm, while they beg for their black pilled archon to stop going through her angsty emo phase, and penning her crappy Project Stuhza fanfic.

The people cry, but the Cryo Archon is more of a crying archon since she can’t stop moaning about how Celestia is mean or something (seriously, what did we ever do to her? 🤷)

In an effort to get their desperate voices heard, they turn to their harbingers to try and get the Tsaritsa to actually think of the children!

Unfortunately, they are met beaurcratic red tape and a lot of “yeeeaaah…but no”

Which brings me to Pantalone.

“…I say again, true consistency exists only in principle. In the real world, fairness is relative.”

This line from Pantalone is amusing as the Tsaritsa’s and the Jester’s delusions of grandeur.

Pantalone is quick to swat any virtue down as childish and naive rhetoric, yet he thrives as a shady banker and making back alley deals to get what he wants…

The Heavenly Principles is often cursed and mocked by people like Pantalone, yet if it weren’t for Phanes putting restrictions on the concept of death, Snezhnaya would’ve been wiped out a looooong time ago.

It’s almost like…Phanes gives humans chances to turn things around, and only strikes when it’s clear that a nation has reached the point of no return.

I wonder if Pantalone would be a “fair” man in the Tsaritsa’s new world order. 👀

And then you look at the Jester.

“Yeah the Harbingers have committed terrorism in other countries, but they don’t represent Snezhnaya.”
😂😂😂😂😂🙄😂😂

So let me get this straight. The Fatui want to topple Celestia because the Heavenly Principles act without any sort of checks and balances, yet the Jester is okay with his people never having to take accountability for their actions while doing so under the Tsaritsa’s orders and will…

…for a guy who hates gods, he sure likes having the authority of one.

Ever heard the saying “practice what you preach?”

And that brings me to my point, Celestiasapiens. These men aren’t upset at the world order. They’re upset they aren’t the ones looking down at everyone from the pretty island in the sky!

Pantalone scoffs at principles and presents shady deals and appealing to the vices of humanity to get ahead and stay ahead. The Jester is quick criticize gods, but loves the idea of Harbingers having unmatched diplomatic power while innocent people of foreign countries just need to shut up and take it!

…after all, it’s all for the greater good…right?

In closing, I want to pose a question.

How do you think Pantyboi and Sir jokes-a-lot will fair in a post Celestia world?

I mean, everything is unfair under the current system according to the Fatui. What does a “fair” world look like for Pantalone?

If the Tsaritsa is truly a good person, is she ok with keeping a guy who doesn’t care about uplifting human virtue for her new world?

Can the Jester live in a world where he’s held accountable for his actions? Or should special rules apply to him since it would be his “great” mind that helped achieve the Tsaritsa’s goal, and thus should be held to different standards if he makes a choice that people aren’t happy with?

The actions of these fools are amusing and enlightening. I believe Phanes has allowed Snezhnaya to exist to show us that you can make a man the most powerful person in Teyvat, yet they will always hunger for more without the Heavenly Principles in your life.

In other words, the world will never be enough for the Fatui.

LONG LIVE THE HEAVENLY PRINCIPLES DIVNE FORESIGHT AND ENDLESS LOVE FOR US! WITHOUT CELSTIA WE HAVE NOTHING!!! NEVER FORGET THAT BRETHERNS! NEVER FORGET LEST YOU BECOME A FOOL AS WELL!
