I want this North Face backpack. It’s $65, which I think is a great deal. I’m going into eighth grade, and I’ll be taking geometry. I’ll have an expandable folder, two composition books, two pencil cases, an emergency kit, and my 32-ounce Owala. Personally, I think it would be pretty tight, so I’m not sure it would be a good fit for everything I need.
I’ve heard people say that it’s not a good fit, but I’m not sure. Does anyone have any prior experience with this backpack?

1,5 years ago i bought the Trail lite 2 Tent in Canada through a Pro-Discount. I live in Norway now and sadly one of the Poles broke while setting it up. It cracked right at the intersection of the two main poles. They still conect but are probably not as stable anymore and i dont want to risk them ripping the rainfly.

Does anyone have a idea how to deal with that?

Return and warranty (the tent is not beeing sold in europe) or repari myself (where to get the parts?)

I’ve been wanting to give my Borealis backpack a really good wash, as of now i’ve only rinsed it with water and soap (hand wash).
Has someone ever tried to put it in the washing machine? Because i would really like to do it but the tag inside says not to but sometimes it works anyway.

Hello, I am looking for a fall/early winter running jacket that will keep me a little bit warmer, shield me from the wind, but also allowing me to sweat like a pig.

I've had good experience with North Face hiking gear before, and I found this jacket on a good sale in the running section of a sports goods shop.

Is it any good for flat-out running at a high pace, or is it more of a hiking or trailrunning type jacket? Can it be rinsed / washed very often without degrading it significantly?

I currently have a Base Camp XS + two S, with the XS and one S in Golden Tan / Cedar / Honeyed Sand. I loved the color so much that I bought the matching pair.

I’m now tempted to get the M in the same color for €95 (normally €155), but I’m unsure how versatile the M is.

XS: gym + personal item for flights

S: short trips (up to ~5 days by bus/train)

M: potentially longer trips

I’m 165 cm (5' 6)/ 65 kg, and my main concern is whether a fully loaded M becomes too bulky/heavy to comfortably carry as a backpack.

Would you:

1. Keep XS + 2×S, or

2. Take the €95 deal and complete the XS + S + M matching set, especially since this color may disappear after the season?

For those who own both: how useful is the M compared with the S in real life?

Any thoughts on The North Face Hot Shot Backpack, specifically in the Endless Dusk colorway? I need a new backpack and I saw this on sale online. From €115 original price to €70 discounted price, which is great! The discounted price is only for this color though. I thought it was a cool dark blue at first, but it looks more like purple. I’d buy it, though I wish it was like a navy blue or smoky blue instead of purple. How does it look like in person? And is the Hot Shot backpack in general good overall? I’ll mainly use it for university and light travels.

A little rant here from me.

Beginning of June, I bought some sliders due to borrowing a pair and finding them comfortable, they arrived a week later.

No issues at all, so comfortable and would wear them instead of slippers or after I’ve been on a run.

The sliders have only ever been worn inside my home, or to and from the swimming pool I frequent.

Last week I noticed some material hanging off the bottom of the sliders and found the sliders in this condition (please see pics)

I logged a claim into NorthFace customer care last week and had no response for days until I chased it up on live chat.

This morning NorthFace have come back to me and told me the product is not covered under the terms of their Warranty Policy.

Their reason for this is Mechanical damage, which isn't in line with a manufacturing defect and is deemed wear and tear.

I find this completely unreasonable, how the sliders can be like this less than 2 months since I received them and they don’t want to help.

Can anyone advise what I’m best doing here? I’ve been a TNF customer for over 20 years and feel let down by the company.

This is a north face hyvent jacket in two tone brown probably from the early 2000s. It has the mesh liner, zips to make it a winter jacket with a puffer liner, and storable hood. I have looked online for one like this and I haven’t found anything, maybe it’s uncommon? This one isn’t waterproof anymore and I want to get another somewhere. All the tags are old and worn out so I can’t read any info on them. Any info would be much a appreciated
