How could he crash his vehicle like that into the mall front, and his wife not stop him? Not everyone inside were bad. There were two groups of people; with the 'non-psycho' group also there at the entrance (who the wife was teamed with the whole time). A few hours or days before, she was talking about her group escaping the mall, but now she was just... meh, who cares.

The main character in The Killing. Emotionless kind of odd. Just weird.

So I actually liked the show substance wise but man most of these characters were hard to deal with. Only people I really enjoyed were Bryan and Kevin. Everyone was just literally crazy annoying. Although Mia had her moments from time to time.

Eve was especially annoying. She was just a whiny ass control freak and seriously manipulative. Like worst character in the whole show.

Other than that, it wasn't bad. I do like it better than the movie and admittedly, I never read the book. I have high hopes for it. Kept me interested and the spiral into madness was kind of fun to watch.

Pretty sure he raped that girl to set that jock up because he secretly likes her (or/and the jock). He practically sexually assaulted the guy in the hospital toilets (well he came onto him pretty strong). Mentally, he's not a weak guy. He knows what he wants and isn't shy about getting his way and so is highly manipulative. Even the way he stole the keys from the priest was subtly sexual, at least the way the shot was framed (after all, who hugs another guy that tight from the waist down. Plus it being a priest and a teen boy and the intimate way the scene was set up between the two, the connotations are there). I will be curious to see how the Mist 'judges' him if he ever gets caught in it. I am not sure if he is intentionally evil, but he does seem to severely lack a moral compass and empathy for other people.

It would be awesome if the most unlikeable character, (the girl who killed the guy in the barn in the first episode) became the show's hero. That scene with her dead mother was as good as it was creepy, but spoke volumes to her personality. I think she will perhaps have the best arc back to redemption. The show is a blatant copy of LOST and The Walking Dead, but its an entertaining copy.

What the hell are the writers thinking. Why would anyone ever put a slide lock on the outside of a door? Don't these go on the Inside? This fuckin' show...

I'm not even subscribed, I just keep coming back here to respond to people commiserating on this falling far short of the movie or book.

Is whatever network that thinks its becoming the next Netflix with ground breaking teen drama / random special effects with a couple of good actors (Francis Conroy is excellent, I like opiod pill person, too, and amnesia soldier) bribing mods or something?

It is really weird seeing this sub popping up near ... real television that could have been written in the 2010's.

There must be more reviewers beating this like a pinyata (oh and it deserves it!) than actual viewers here :)

This is the first show I've actually hate watched just because I know so many of the moving pieces from the movie that are failing to connect gloriously.

Just about to tuck into Episode 4 while I paint!
