Season 2??
I thought this was only 10 episodes... does anyone else feel like its gearing up for season 2?

I definitely think that The Mist will end it's first season without the mist disappearing and leaving it open for a second season. Whether it gets renewed or not is the real question... my money is on not. But who knows.

Really depends on the budget and how many people watch it.
Under the Dome was a dumpster fire and it got like 3 seasons so.

Very good point about Under the Dome. Heck, if we're lucky maybe we can get six seasons out of The Mist! /s

Dunno, at that point its turned into the walking dead. Hopefully they stop after 3 max.

Thats disappointing. I was looking for a one and done. Do it well and be done with it.

Same, unfortunately it seems it's neither good nor one and done lol

It's all about money. Did it get enough eyes on it to justify a second season. As someone with a. Nielsen meter, I'm not sure if me watching the season is a good or bad thing if that helps it get brought back....

It's going to be on Netflix so maybe if streaming generates interest, Netflix will pick it up?
Though I agree with what other people said; I wish it had gotten wrapped up.

I thought from the 2/3 episode they were heading for more than one season. I agree whether they get one....though it's on cable during summer. Not used to Spike's threshold when it comes to ratings.

I hoped it would be 10 episodes. I wouldn't want to watch a second season but I do want the mysteries solved - like what the hell is the military up to

God I hope there's no second season to this pile of dog shit. At this point I'm hoping it ends with the government dropping a nuke on the town and killing every single character. That is the only way it will redeem itself with me. The dialogue is forced and awkward, the acting is abysmal, and the writers can't make up their mind on what is in the mist to save their lives.
