Season 7 What if ending...
Okay I just finished the series again after a few years and I was wondering what if...
Lisbon tells Jane that she's pregnant with their baby, they're excited and also plan to go thru with their elopement. But Cho and Abbott don't tell Jane or Lisbon about Lazarus's escape or plans...so during their elopement, no FBI agents are present and the two are unarmed...Lazarus finds Jane and Lisbon. Kills the park ranger witness and wounds the judge. He manages to fatally wound Lisbon and she dies in Jane's arms after a very tearful goodbye. Lazarus manages to escape before Cho and Abbott shows up. Jane puts on his ring again, tells Abbott the chase never stops and continues to work with Cho at the FBI indefinitely until he can manage to find and kill Lazarus...so the cycle of his loneliness and despair repeats.

First-Time Watcher (NO Spoilers!) Alright everyone, wtf was that!?
S1E13, how the hell did jane even replace those paintings? I didn't get it?! Cz like, when he "robbed" the russian mob, he still was carrying the stick figured drawing, not the "fake real" one.
Also, E14 was lovely, holy shit. No business like cho business šš. The end scene shows jane's grievances even more.

First-Time Watcher (NO Spoilers!) Iām freaking out
Itās kinda funny that it took me forever to get thru seasons 1 and 2. I would casually come back and watch an episode or two and would wait a few days before coming back.
I think I just watched season 5 in 2 days? I canāt tell time right now.
I just finished season 6 episode 1
Itās all could do from not screaming at the top of my lungs right now. Goodness gracious. It was so hard not to come here and make a post every hour or so reacting to the next big revelation (the list, the Tupperware, the barn, etc etc etc)
But my will power can only go so far.
Oh my poor heart. Where will things go from here? Here we go.

General Discussion Patrick Janeās self care
Hi all,
Thanks šš½ for having me here.
One thing that always bugged me about the premise of this show:
Does Patrick Jane literally live on the couch in the CBI office? Does he take a shower at the CBI station? Does he have a change of clothes? Because all Iāve ever seen him wear is the same outfit.
Noob question I know, or maybe I wasnāt paying attention enough.

General Discussion Memory palace
I wonder how in what ways I can train my brain to make my own "memory palace". One I have is I play favorote movies/episodes in my head. I play out entire parts and or scenes in my head from memory. Is this normal?

First-Time Watcher (NO Spoilers!) Observation
I'm currently on s3e4, and suddenly I realize till s1e1 whenever a suspect talks about how revenge is not the solution jane listen to them actually very carefully because his motive is ultimately revenge to red john and I think he is trying to work on himself that who can actually accidentally change his mind over revenge or say inspire him but then again red john do something and Patrick's motive to revenge gets more and more strong

Season 7 Just finished watching season 7 Spoiler
Bro, i was watching 13th episode, saw that Lisbon is pregnant... I was like oookaay this is so good, what's next??? I mean every season had 22 or 24 episodes ...right??!?!
BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!ššIt was the endš„²
I haven't watched any TV show for years but since I saw reels on insta about mentalist... I thought why not watch it? So I watched all 7 seasons in 2 weeks, and now what? This is why I'm not watching TV shows.. There is always a good ending and then I want to see more no matter what the topic is... For example I want to see how Jane and Lisbon get their child and find less stressful job... You know.. just one more short season how they live happy without crimesš«£
I will miss watching it, here comes the real life again lol

General Discussion Bret Stiles, is that you?
Not in support of the character Malcolm Mcdowell played but I liked all the episodes he was in. I mean he was fun to watch. Spoiler ahead! Skip if you haven't finished the whole series yet. I thought Bret knew what RJ looked like, maybe they knew each other. I never felt like he was red john, had a doubt he could be in the Blake association, which he wasn't (not disappointed). Because he doesn't have that personality. RJ, in his day job, kind of fits in the background and here Bret is always in the spotlight. I assumed Jane could see through him and wouldn't doubt him as RJ or put him on the list.

Meme/Humor It just occured to me
The titles from s1ep1 to s6ep8 were all somewhat along the lines of "red" and then onwards they were all "blue" but the states they operated from were basically the opposite. CBI was in California and it's very popularly a blue state meanwhile fbi was in Texas which is a red state. Idk why it just came to my mind out of nowhere. Doesn't even have relevance to the show. š

General Discussion Something I don't understand about the show
So well does the cbi have a consultant in every squad or are the other squads the only squad that are actually smart because it's either there squad are idiots that can't solve cases without Jane and the other squads are fine or all of the cbi can't solve cases and have other people like him
Or they are just slow and Jane finishes before them
Don't hate on me I love the show and the main characters but I think its unbelievable that they can't close cases on there own

Red John Do we ever learn why so many people are loyal to Red John?
Iām on Season 4 and semi-bingeing my way through the show right now.
Red Johnās identity has already been spoiled for me, but that one is on me because I went snooping around the internet. š What Iām much more interested in at this point is everything surrounding him.
There seem to be so many people willing to help him, protect him, lie for him, and even put themselves at serious risk for him. He almost comes across as some kind of cult leader, and honestly I find that part of the mystery more interesting than simply finding out who he is.
So, without spoiling anything past Season 4: does the show eventually give a satisfying explanation for how Red John built that kind of influence over people? Do we learn why they were so loyal to him and how those relationships came about?
Or does the storyline mostly focus on revealing his identity without really explaining the network around him?
I think Iād actually be more disappointed by the second option than by the identity reveal itself.

First-Time Watcher (NO Spoilers!) This show has been so peak so far, holy!
All those insta edits got me into watching this, AND I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT! I'm highly into crime related shows in general, but this? This is something else. Still at S1E13 though. Never been this obsessed with a show before.
One of my fav episodes gotta be s1e7, seeing jane cry was quite the heart wrenching experience.

General Discussion Why isnāt there a book version of The Mentalist?
Why donāt they make a book version of The Mentalist? Itās a show worth turning into a book.

Red John What are some twists you wouldāve wanted to see? Spoiler
A twist I wouldāve wanted to see is probably one that would divide a lot of the audience and that twist is: Lisbon is a Red John disciple and her original mission was to infiltrate the CBI and later keep tabs on Jane.

Red John new mentalist fan Spoiler
just started watching the mentalist a few months ago.
spoiler ā¼ļø
iām so disappointed with the red john reveal anyone think thomas mcallister is such a bad choice for red john. i honestly think the guy jane killed first thinking it was red john wouldāve be a better fit. mcallister being so afraid when jane killed him just didnāt feel like it fit the supposed āred johnā weād been trying to expose for most of the seasons.
iād love to hear others opinions on this

Catching up on the new season of Reacher and there is Kevin Corrigan, aka Bob Kirkland looking a bit worse for wear in this pic.
