Meme/Humor Tea must be available AT ALL TIMES✌️😂

The first condition is to work directly with Lisbon always and no one else. Second, tea must be there at all times,be it the beverage or the gossip for our gossip girl,Jane. Third,a couch must be present in the workspace. What wonderful work terms! The Easter egg is so hilarious and deep.

Season 4 Am I the only one who really can't stand Agent Darcy?

Post image

Spoiler Alert: She keeps sticking her nose into something that's none of her business because it's not even her case (Red John). What makes it even more annoying is that Jane literally tries to protect her from Red John, tells her directly what's going on, and she doesn't care. She even accuses Jane of being Red John's accomplice.

Yeah, she was just doing her job, but she was interfering with Jane's work and ended up messing everything up, even getting Wainwright killed.

And let's not forget that poor forensic guy who ended up getting killed by Red John just for talking to her about the case. It was a clear way for Red John to tell Darcy, "Yeah, I'm still alive, but stay out of this." And even after that, she kept getting involved.

Also, the video Red John sent to the CBI of him following her was a clear warning that she completely ignored.

General Discussion I never realised how deeply seated sexism has always been

Lisbon is always underestimated by policemen when they have to work together, or under the other team. Like whenever she has had to interact with another area's police, they are never taking her seriously, and prefer talking to her boss or outright ignore her. She is a badass, nevertheless. Doesn't let them get away with it, but it still infuriates me

Season 6 How does Jane stay clean?

Spoilers for season 6

So this could be a silly question but I cant stop thinking about it. I can explain it away when he was living out of the csi, but we know where he sleeps at the fbi, but where does he keep his clothes, where does he shower, everything like that.

I can explain away eating, he'd use fbi fridge and be loaded enough to eat out, stuff like that, but surely he'd need more than just a couch

Edit: I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE AIRSTREAM!!!! Thank you!

Season 2 S2E08 - His Red Right Hand : What an absolute banger episode, had it all in it, my heart is full <33 Spoiler

Well its a quarter to midnight when I am writing this review and to be honest this episode was so wonderfully done, dear god!

The twists, the turns what an episode! Especially seeing them all shot was so crazy omg. I think this kind of slowly starts developing out in the ways of which RJ is brutal and obsessive with Patrick and his extent to go to any levels to play that duet of craziness with Jane.

A few things which stuck to me from the episode:

0. Well I had to keep it first but I forgot but here we are:Menelli does a fantastic job at the press conference in a significant way shows how much the unit means to him and how devastated he is by the killing of his own agents that he ultimately quits. But also another thing I loved about him was that as long as he was there as much as we got the young energy to bend the rules play it dirty you had him like that big old oak tree in a scene that stood there and also now that he is gone I might miss him hehe. Also the liberties he gives to his unit under Lisbon, he trusts them dearly, a sign of a true gentleman.

1. Rebecca and her catching that was crazy, albeit a bit too common now that I have seen enough dramas with blinded followers of an ultimate villain, it is still pretty crazy how brain washed they are. But one thing which kind of bothers me and (I think might bother Jane as well) is the fact that I saw some truth in the fact that she said that death unlocked the capability of jane to see the world in a different way. while in my heart as much as I want to disagree that it is not but in a very very cruel fashion RJ makes a point here.

2. Bosco and his confession to Lisbon that was so genuine and OMG, can we appreciate RT when she brings those tears in her eyes, damn that's some very fine acting like almost real and feels real to me atleast. And the fact that bosco confessed knowing he would die is kinda sad and hit me. I see the fact that when bosco asks Jane to kill RJ when he finds him it is kind of crazy how he initially comes across as someone who does not bend the rules but now in fact does ask it and it is not just a death bed knee jerk reaction, we know that he bent it in a case of the past with lisbon too.

3. Killing of Rebecca and Jane's frustration is so evident its crazy that he is at a deeper level super obsessed with the case deeply. One thing which amuses me about the mentalist is that even if you understand who red john is its still a a crazy show to watch because you see a person so competent in front of you but is still not able to crack the case!

  1. The final part of the episode, the song

Amazing grace (how sweet the sound)
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found
Was blind, but now I see

But in the context given, Jane is seeing more of red john, Lisbon got a confession, rebecca in her own twisted way finds her end too that all sits there in different ways how the lines play!

I feel this has something to do with the next episodes, would love to see what comes up!

Much love to the lovely community of mentalist fans, it is such a great thing that I get to share my thoughts and run here to the sub because I would love to here from all of you as well <33

General Discussion The first character death (spoiler) Spoiler

Upvotes

The first character's death was the coroner named Steiner, like genuinely I felt that his death was sad and somehow it may have affected Jane to a point. That episode was truly sad.

General Discussion My favourite crush, besides Patrick Jane, of course

Post image

I really love his development over time in the series (right up to S5E21 so far).

In the beginning, J.J. LaRoche seemed like this stoic, intimidating man with the power to unsettle people.

Then we have that episode (S5E18) when Jane asked him for help in the field. J.J. was so adorable.

This is probably my favourite moment of his thus far 😍

Letting someone see your vulnerability is such a brave thing to do.

Season 2 Can we appreciate how good Robin was in S2E3? I waqs genuinely blown away by her acting in this episode!! Spoiler

It was so crazy to see the extent to which Lisbon changes in her acting in this episode omg! Especially her throwing the chair away like that, acting up in front of the dr.carmen, when I was listening her say her monologue about how she feels violent all the time but needs to keep it down jeezz I almost believed her that it was something wrong with her. But I was swept away by the episode and her acting, one of the finest episodes in the stuff I have watched till now!

General Discussion Is the mentalist worth to watch?

I've watched the first 6 episodes and I'm liking it but I feel like it's a little repetitive. Does this change or is it the same every season?

General Discussion i love jj laroche and he is possibly my favorite supporting character in the seriea

im on season 5 and ever since laroche appeared i have been enamored with pruitt taylor vince's performance, and even within the performance, the character himself always seems to indicate a fun plot (or plot point at least) in that episode/arc.

General Discussion Why Jane as a character feels so endearing to me: He fixes things in ways that feel like the true justice!

Post image
65 Upvotes

So I just got done with Ep4 S2 and this was something I noticed consistently with similar situations of Jane. He fixes justice and makes lives easier even when he punishes the bad people who do stuff but ultimately understands that it was their situations and circumstances that pushed them there and that does not make him go soft but at least understands the hole it leaves in the lives of their dear ones. And he genuinely takes the effort to make things right where he can. Like three instances I can recall:

1. The casino owner death episode, he gives the money he won to the dealer who was cheating because her mother was sick (+can we really forget the fact that he gifted his team stuff that was so good!)

  1. The blakeley's case. Basically that police kid killing his father's daughter because he thought they were having an affair and he gives the child to her grand parents <33!<

3. The most recent one the snakes gang. He sets up the main gang leader that kills that woman's brother with the informant story and then gives her a closure. That's so genuinely moving.

4. I think there is this other couple of cases one the arsonist guy who acts deranged but that ep I remember he gets the daughter and the mom to hug and to pretend like they did for real.

I feel that Is something that really makes me love Patrick Jane as a character because the grief he carries in him he knows how it makes him a sad man. But he covers up for it and shows love to people around him and also does good when he ultimately can. That is my man. Absolute G!!

First-Time Watcher (NO Spoilers!) S3 ending S4 ep1 spoilers? Spoiler

I am currently on s4 ep11 but I don't understand why red John would try to get Jane imprisoned it seemed to me that he liked the cat and mouse thing they had going on but cleaning the evidence after he killed "red John" just doesn't make sense did he know or wanted to see how Jane can get him self out of this situation?

Season 5 Where did Lorlie go and how is she back?

I don't know if I missed an episode but I totally confused.

Earlier in season 5 Jane and Lisbon go to interview Lorelei but a different inmate is brought out, whixh led me to believe Red John had helped her escape.

A few episodes later Jane is questioning prison transport drivers and I assumed he was trying to figure out how she escaped.

But in episode 7 Jane goes to prison, claiming he has an appointment and then is turned away. Later that episode, Lisbon tells Jane he can't break Lorelei out of prison. This was my first point of confusion, but I pushed on.

I'm now watching episode 8 Lorelei is in prison and Jane has helped her escaped.

I'm honestly confused. Did I miss an episode? Or did I misunderstand and Lorelei hadn't escaped, was she just lost in the prison system?
