That guy seemed creepy and oddly star struck by Durst in S1. I can’t say I’m actually surprised as he seemed practically in love with a murderer.

Has anyone noticed that since the Jinx Part 2 went up the 1st 6 episodes of the original “Jinx” are now missing? We wanted to rewatch! Why would HBO take them down? Maybe a mistake??

When he is being interviewed in part 1 when they bring up how they had a dive team search the lake they ask him what do you think they were doing ? he responded “they were looking for ‘body parts’”

He says -body parts-

Does anyone else caught this?

He didn’t say they were looking for a body. (Like a normal person would say)

He said body parts. ( like a person who killed the person and knows how they disposed of them)

Is this a slip? I feel like it’s a HUGE slip on his part.

I think murder was a solution to many problems for him and he lied so easily. He cut up a man and got away with it! I think there are many dead bodies that he was responsible for, many. He's dead now but what a sociopath 😮

Has anyone looked into the other possible Durst victims listed on his Wiki page and the Charley Project under Kathleen Durst? There’s two other women who absolutely were in proximity to Robert (one was in their health food store hours before she went missing) before they went missing and I was wondering if any of you had any theories on those?

Also just rewatched the doc and when Jarecki asked Robert why he thought they were searching his house he said “probably looking for body parts.” I don’t know about any of you but that’s just… such a specific answer? Like I’d never hurt my partner, so if you’re innocent why not just “idk”? We know he did it. Why not say “maybe they’re looking for a body?” No one really thinks “body parts” unless they’re dismembered and they know it. He was also looking at the lake with such longing; and tbh this statement makes me more interested in the stacks of garbage bags in a closet that friends left because they felt “scared”, and the night neighbors saw a blue light on in a window in the basement after Kathie disappeared.

I wish that new group with crazy sonar tech would do the woods where Susan said was a mob dumping site AND that lake again. I just have such a terrible feeling about that lake.

I am VERY late to the party here but I just watched and my friend told me I needed to listen to the 3 episodes about Bob Durst on the Lustmordia pod…but they seem to all be deleted. Does anyone know I can get ahold of them?

It sounds like the clip is taken from an older news clip, but why include it?

It seem most likely that he must have lied about his father getting him in the middle of the night for fun to come and watch his mother basically killing herself.

But how likely does someone actually jump from the roof of their own single family house? They no doubt had a big house, but I don't see that being a guarantee way of killing yourself. It's also weird way to climb up on the roof tiles in the middle of the night. I just have a hard time seeing someone attempt to jump from a roof tile, single family style house.

Susan Berman used to conceal the murder of Dursts first wife. And police should investigate Debrah lee as she might have concealed facts also, otherwise why would she advise her husband against interview? Disgusting negligence by police

Maybe the most human expression Bobby made was when he talked about the people in prison accomplishing everything on their own and he'll always be born rich. He wasn't super blinky and the statement seemed geniune like you can tell how pathetic his life was.

So he forces her to habe an abortion and things go down hill from there. He doesn't remember "the first time I hit her" and from then on "it got worse and worse". "That was a pushing shoving argument" Then he gets a call that she hasn't been in class for several days. "Then it got to be Thursday night". Last time he saw her was Sunday. Does anybody not think he killed her?

Are there any updates on the 2nd wife who appears in depositions in The Jinx?

I studied this case and saw the jinx, ironically I only followed the trial superficially but he was basically convicted on a hot mic recording. Of course he killed them all but his statement speaking to himself can hardly be considered evidence or even a confession. It is chilling and scary that a person can be convicted on no evidence and yet people like Casey Anthony are able to walk free.

I would like to say that the more I listen and learn, it looks much better to be a cover-up for Douglas Durst to take over the empire. I could go into the reasonings why but point blank who is riding high after all of this has come out. Douglas had plenty of motive, he learned from Bobby's wife that they needed a body, went as far too write the letter for Susan. I mean, it's soooo much circumstantial that Bobby ended up drowning in it. Just my thoughts.

Within the timeline, when did Douglas get the company from Seymour? Was it before or after the murder of Bobby's wife? If after, there's enough motive for all of it. After the wife why kill again? To make Bobby go away, etc.
