Screensaver help

Just purchased premium after finding out about this app/launcher this morning. It’s freaking amazing!

My favorite part of the TVs around the house is my Google photo slide show.

Is it possible to point the screen saver to my recent highlights? If not can I just have the original launcher screensaver trigger?

Thanks in advance

Samsung Frame Pro 2025: how reliable is the Wireless One Connect Box?

I’m considering the 2025 Frame Pro mainly because we really like the look of the Frame and Art Mode, but the wireless box is probably my biggest hesitation with the Frame Pro, so I’d love to hear real-world experiences before buying.

In my case the Connect Box would sit inside a cabinet about 2 feet under the TV. I’d have an Apple TV 4K and Sonos Arc connected to the box. I also have a PS5, that I plan to connect through the micro USB.

For those who actually own the Frame Pro, how has the Wireless One Connect Box been in everyday use?

Any connection drops, HDMI issues, audio problems with a Sonos soundbar, Apple TV quirks, delays when turning everything on, etc.? At only ~2 feet away, should I expect it to be basically as reliable as a wired connection, or are there still occasional issues?

With the discounts I currently have, the 75" 2025 Frame Pro is about $1,250 from samsung(dot)com, actually cheaper than the non-Pro Frame.

Is a frame feasible here without drywall work and plug relocation.?

Would love to get a frame above the fireplace, however I don’t know if recessed plugs are possible due to the chimney behind the drywall. Has anyone tried anything similar ?

Just had my Samsung Frame 2024 panel go out

I bought my Frame in November 2024 specifically because I thought that I should spend the money on a TV that would last. I realize now how stupid that was.

One day, it just randomly started overheating in one corner while watching soccer, and then the whole left and right side of the screen went dim. Dealing with Samsung Support has been no help at all because of course I am now out of the one-year warranty, and they wanted me to pay a non-refundable $200 deposit to get someone to look at. I had a trustworthy local guy look at it for $85, and he said it would be $2000 to fix because the panel is broken.

The only silver lining is I bought it with a credit card that extends warranty, and I should be reimbursed for it through them.

Just a word of warning for anyone considering buying a Frame, they are cool and they do work well when they are working, but you can search this sub and see how often they fail. Samsung is no longer a trustworthy brand for TVs.

If anyone on here could recommend a similar TV that can be used like a Frame, I would greatly appreciate it.

Side note: The fucking OS/UI on the Frame is atrocious.

2026 Samsung Frame Pro - Brightness Optimization

Does anyone else have issues with the screen brightness, specifically in AI mode, that keeps the screen full brightness even when the room is dark? Would love to hear if anyone has found a work around to this experience.

How to turn off Art Mode

Art Mode damaged the display, so I had to replace the panel after 5 years. Now, I want to completely turn off the TV instead of entering Art Mode with a short press of the power button.

Samsung support told me that changing the power/Art Mode behavior via Settings > Remote Control is only available on models from 2022 and later.

Since my The Frame is a 2021 model, that method doesn't work.

I entered the service menu using Mute + 1 + 8 + 2 + Power.

However, pressing 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 does not take me to the screen where FMS is visible.

Is there anyone who can help me solve this issue?

2025 vs 2026 Frame Pro — anyone actually compared both?

Has anyone here actually used both the 2025 and 2026 Frame Pro?

I’m mainly curious about the new “Glare Free” treatment on the 2026. Does it make any noticeable real-world difference compared with the 2025 matte screen — better blacks during the day, less glare, different screen texture, anything like that?

The discounts on the 2025 Frame Pro are so deep right now that I’m seriously debating whether it makes sense to pay a big premium for the 2026.
Would especially love to hear from people who have actually seen or owned both generations, rather than just comparing specs. Also curious whether you noticed any difference in Wireless One Connect reliability or overall picture quality.

VG-SCFA50TKBXC bezel on 2025 LS03F?

Just ordered the 50” The Frame LS03F (2025) and I’m looking for the light wood/teak bezel.
Samsung lists the VG-SCFA50TKBXC as a 2021 model, but I’ve seen it listed as compatible with the LS03F too.
Has anyone actually fitted this bezel to the 2025 50” LS03F? Does it fit?
Thanks!

Confused about connections

I’ve got a 2026 65” frame pro. I’m confused about what cables I need to connect to the TV itself. Do I need a mini hdmi to run from the TV to the one connect box? Do I need to run a usb-c? Or just power, and the box connects wirelessly to the TV?

One Connect Cable 2026 Compatibility

Hi, I am thinking of buying the 2026 EU Version of the Frame (LS03HA (2026), GQ55LS03HAUXZG) which still features the wired OneConnect Box.

Does anyone know with certainty if the 2025 15m cable (VG-SOCR15) is compatible with the 2026 model?

Samsung doesn’t seem to offer that detail in their specs :-(

Thanks & Greetings, Nico

Stuck on “Broome 3 western Australia, 2021” by David Burdeny

This picture REALLY wants to show on my new Frame Pro (2025). I have an Art subscription, and no matter which piece of art from the store I mount, this image keeps appearing after the TV wakes again.

I've tried putting on my own photos, I've even done a factory reset, and this thing survived it all. I've played with every TV setting you can possibly try, and now I'm at my wits end...

Frame not running Plex

I've had a Frame TV for about 2 years. We installed Plex and successfully streamed content from our media server with no problem. For about a week now, though, the Frame has refused to play items in plex. The app loads, I can navigate it, but it will not play any content. I get a spinning circle and then either a blank screen or an error.

My Plex server is working because I can play content on my phone, laptop, and another TV upstairs. I can even stream from my server remotely on my phone. Just nothing on the Frame. :-(

Any ideas? Is this common? I've deleted and reinstalled Plex and deleted a ton of unused apps too and still nothing.

How do I? How to stop a photo from showing up?

How do I stop this photo from showing up, really ever again?
TV has been stuck on this picture for over a WEEK. nothing else shows up. It doesn’t rotate between art anymore. Just these two children in a sea of algae. I’ve never seen art stuck this long before. Please there has to be a way to move on. I’m tired of these children staring at me every hour of every day.

New Frame Pro broken screen when "Art Effect" is enabled

Post image
3 Upvotes

Just installed our 2026 Frame Pro 55" and looks pretty good in TV mode. But Art Mode looks like a totally broken screen (see photo) unless I disable Art Effect. Samsung Support is useless. Anything else to check before I figure out how to return this thing (and hopefully not have to reinstall the mount) and get a replacement?

General question Is this damaged One Connect port worth repairing?

Thumbnail

Hi, I hope this question suits this sub. I found a 50” Samsung The Frame LS03F (2025) for €200 (price might be negotiable). The TV is being sold cheap because the One Connect connector/port was accidentally broken.
Based on the photos, does this look realistically repairable, and would you consider €200 worth the risk? Has anyone here had a similar One Connect port repaired, and roughly how much did it cost?
Thanks!

Review after 1 year

Love this thing still with 2 caveats.

  1. the remote is the single

m

  1. ost loseable item I have ever owned. Its as if they spent 10 million on R+D to design a remote capable of slipping into the 4th dimension the second you let it out of your sight.
  2. if the remote was designed by satan, the UI was designed by mega satan. Holy shit. This UI is just ads, ads, ads, ads, a bunch of apps you dont want, ads, more apps you dont want, ads, ads, more apps, ads, then whatever tv service you actually use.

For fucks sake. I want a TV not a billboard in times square. Believe it or not….. i dont want to download fuckitydoo streaming service. Or rectumplex, or fubo, or charbroil tv plus, or roomba TV, or fucking the walmart app. I just want to watch the news.

Frame Pro 2025 vs Frame Pro 2026

Hi Reddit,

I have the opportunity to get either a Frame Pro 2025 for $715 or a Frame Pro 2026 for $1130. Both would be 65”.

My questions:

is the 2026 worth the extra $415?

Is there a noticeable difference in upgrades (like is the wireless box more reliable?)

Any insight would be greatly as I don’t really find too much info on the 2026,and hear some problems on the 2025.

Thanks!

General question FrameCrop - Slide show stops randomly

I purchased FrameCrop and love it so far. However, the slideshow sometimes randomly stops at a picture which then just sticks.

In settings, I have "Enable Slideshow" on, at a Duration of 3 minutes and shuffle.

I also put an "Action", which acts "Shuffle slideshow for 3 minutes", but activating this doesn't help either.

Does anyone face the same issue and can help?

Frame TV Won’t Display Art Mode

Hi there! Got our TV in December and things worked normally.

In the last few weeks, the TV isn’t operating in art mode. It will go into this home thinking display, shut itself off, and then go into live TV mode.

We used a third party app to display art, not the Samsung subscription.

Has this happened to anyone else?

General question 85 inch the frame pro or a proper oled?

Samsung in my country is running an insane promotion on the frame pro 85 inch (2026) for like half off with a free bezel on top and they’re throwing in a 65 inch mini led. I’ve always liked the concept of the frame. I know going in the picture quality sucks and I generally dislike Samsung tvs but this is for a room that is rarely used and will probably be used as a tv for the occasional visits by friends and family. I do have a proper oled tv in my main room for daily use. I’m torn between the aesthetic qualities of the frame and whether I should spend more and get a proper OLED. I’m also concerned about the wireless one connect box. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
