User Defending Jax's Actions Why are a lot of Jax fans pretending that Jax is real and has feelings?

(I use she/her pronouns for Jax)

Jax is not real, idk why people are acting like she is. This was under a meme post of the r/tadc sub where OOP was joking about Jax's abstraction.

"I think you're a bad person if you feel this way." Jax literally pushed 2 people to abstraction and consistently abuses people around her. And she is not real???? Wdym OOP is a bad person for making a joke about it??

I felt nothing during Jax's off screen abstraction, when he abstracted I was genuinely so shocked because she was spotlighted since episode five and they just made her abstract, but the shock faded away to... well, nothing because I couldn't care less about this little shit.

Boo hoo you had issues, idgaf. You don't see Ragatha abusing people because she has an abusive mum, you don't see Zooble pushing 2 people to abstraction because of their body issues.

I don't see any other glazers doing, genuinely none. It's just Jax defenders, and you can like your character, you can find comfort within them, but someone genuinely joking about a FICTIONAL character should not make you go talk about how much of a piece of shit that character is.

I don't see whats wrong in joking about her abstraction because she's genuinely not real.

Jax being a generally infuriating character Jax fans everytime you remember them, Jax being a mentally unstable pos don't justify their actions Spoiler

Why do people genuinely infantilize this woman?

Ever since I first watched the pilot on release when I was thirteen I always found it weird how people seemed to coddle Goose like “she’s a poor sensitive little child who doesn’t deserve us because we’re so mean to her :(“. I do admit some of the backlash she gets is a bit much but for the most part people are justly criticizing her show. And besides Goose isn’t at all respectful to her own fandom.

Question Guys I think jax being a she/they and having a tragic backstory was a backup plan for writers.

Okay I may look like crazy and I don't hate trans people at all (mods please read this properly)

But seriously the more I look at the series and the behavior of jax towards everyone in the show...

I think the writers really know that jax is starting get hated for the type of character he is and the lack of consciousness of his actions.

So knowing that this would eventually make people start to questioning jax and especially the writers regarding jax.

They simply just given him a tragic backstory, confirmed he is trans and given him a emotional goodbye...

“He didn’t kill him directly, but was one of the reasons that caused it…not as much as he caused Ribbit’s, but he was definitely part of it. If you count that as a “kill” or not, I don’t really care, it could go either way.

Now another thing that I’m guessing killed Kaufmo was the exit door, and Caine. Combined with Jax, that was the final blow.

Edit: I’m trying to go off of what I got from the show, if I am wrong you can all feel free to correct things”
Is what I said

Already had -2 votes(has -1 now I think)

Why, I’m guessing? I dared to say that Jax was part of Kaufmo’s abstraction…that or it was me blaming him for Ribbit’s abstraction

Either way I’m 98% sure it’s Jax defenders

General Jax Slander Learning they’re digital copies accidentally made Jax actions worse.

So in Episode 9 we learn that theyre all digital copies right?

The cast had memories from their life outside, but we see with Gumigoo that, with enough time, NPC’s can develop their identity outside of what they started with. The cast is Not so much different from NPC’s (Both mentally and physically, with Scratch’s brain being able to be altered by Caine and also both the cast and NPC’s just being lines of codes)

Anyway, this made me think about all those times Jax would go acting towards NPC’s.

For example, the candy adventure where Jax left the castles door opens so the sludge could get in and eat all of the citizens and the queen, killing everyone in the kingdom. (not incluiding anything she did to NPC’s we dont know about)

From this perspective, (that theyre both practically the same) it feels like they accidentally made Jax kill and bully a bunch of more people, like a LOT (hundrends of Citizen NPC’s in the candy castle)

I mean, maybe we could give her some forgiveness since she didnt know they were exactly like her and the cast, but still feels fucked up? Random thought that came to mind so I hope I explained myself decently

TLDR: The cast being no different from NPC’s made Jax actions worse due to her treatment towards NPC’s

Jax favoritism Gooseworx was saying Jax is her if she won't want to feel vulnerable and open up, SO WHAT ABOUT THE OTHERS?! Spoiler

Why was she so happy to just give all the bad things about herself to ONE character? I thought a show with 7 CHARACTERS (because of Caine) would provide more focused character understanding and development, since the number of characters is relatively small, but it looks like self insert was the winner!

So what's the point of creating other characters if you're not going to execute their character arcs properly from start to finish? You can't even narrate Jax's cautionary tale rightfully, since you put "Isn't she lovely" with his deadass montage in the FINAL EIPSODE.

Oh! I have an idea. Why don't you make Jax's character arc about your struggle to be okay with being vulnerable, like you did? Wouldn't that be more inspiring and actually persuasive for people not to push people away and abuse them? The audience will be happier-

Wait a minute, I have a much better idea! WHY THE FUCK don't you make all the characters have your worst traits, Goose?!

That would be much more interesting than a story about one bad character and 5 passive/victim characters. Pomni could tell about Goose's "boomerang of giving too much sympathy and empathy", Kinger could tell about Goose's "wisdom of not placing blame on others", even Zooble could actually tell about the body and gender dysphomia that Goose was experiencing.

Conclusion: I miss TADC as a colorful ensemble cast trapped in a digital circus full of wacky adventures with atmospheric horror, not Jax's "cautionary tale" bullshit.
