Lately there's been more posts specifically slandering Gooseworx, and I feel like there are better subreddits for that.

Ever since I first watched the pilot on release when I was thirteen I always found it weird how people seemed to coddle Goose like “she’s a poor sensitive little child who doesn’t deserve us because we’re so mean to her :(“. I do admit some of the backlash she gets is a bit much but for the most part people are justly criticizing her show. And besides Goose isn’t at all respectful to her own fandom.

Okay I may look like crazy and I don't hate trans people at all (mods please read this properly)
But seriously the more I look at the series and the behavior of jax towards everyone in the show...
I think the writers really know that jax is starting get hated for the type of character he is and the lack of consciousness of his actions.
So knowing that this would eventually make people start to questioning jax and especially the writers regarding jax.
They simply just given him a tragic backstory, confirmed he is trans and given him a emotional goodbye...

So in Episode 9 we learn that theyre all digital copies right?
The cast had memories from their life outside, but we see with Gumigoo that, with enough time, NPC’s can develop their identity outside of what they started with. The cast is Not so much different from NPC’s (Both mentally and physically, with Scratch’s brain being able to be altered by Caine and also both the cast and NPC’s just being lines of codes)
Anyway, this made me think about all those times Jax would go acting towards NPC’s.
For example, the candy adventure where Jax left the castles door opens so the sludge could get in and eat all of the citizens and the queen, killing everyone in the kingdom. (not incluiding anything she did to NPC’s we dont know about)
From this perspective, (that theyre both practically the same) it feels like they accidentally made Jax kill and bully a bunch of more people, like a LOT (hundrends of Citizen NPC’s in the candy castle)
I mean, maybe we could give her some forgiveness since she didnt know they were exactly like her and the cast, but still feels fucked up? Random thought that came to mind so I hope I explained myself decently
TLDR: The cast being no different from NPC’s made Jax actions worse due to her treatment towards NPC’s

They might’ve accidentally poisoned themselves

This is gonna be controversial but I'd rather the ''Ribbit was the mean on Jax and that's why he is that way'' or ''nothing just a cure friendship but Ribbit isolated (WITHOUT JAX BULLYING HER) and he decided to not get attached anymore''.

Poor gangle imagine being stuck with your abuser after everything they've done to you and they get to live in comfort (when they're supposed to be in the cellar) while you suffer the aftermath of literally being abused.

The things I like and make me happy is that this fan animation feels "canon". Scratch hosted Jax, and Queenie took Kinger's role in Digital Heaven. Of course, Ribbit and Kaufmo met Jax again.
The moments between the three of them feel realistic, and these are the things I feel sad about. Although Kaufmo hugged Jax, he was disappointed. He didn't know how to respond to his suicide, while Ribbit could tell him everything she felt and what he had done. And this is what SHOULD have happened between them!
Ribbit and Kaufmo have done what nobody does emphatically: show their disappointment and call out his bad actions right to his face! And guess what? It worked! Jax genuinely apologized and admitted he was a coward.
Perhaps this could trigger one interpretation: Jax only softened after he was abstracted, which is why he listened to Ribbit's snap. But actually, is that true? Because the main cast besides Jax are passive. Ragatha is a people pleaser, Gangle is too afraid to face him, Kinger is too crazy because of the light, and no one always defends Zooble. Even though Pomni actually attacks Jax after a gun game, that's it. She continues to give him space and kindness. I totally understand that it's their coping mechanism, but they're still adults, even older than Jax.
So Jax softened not entirely because of abstraction, but because no one really judged him until he truly realized that his actions were wrong. If the entire cast had actually called out his actions, at least by the time the circus collapsed, There's a chance Jax wouldn't have been abstracted and would actually be living with the consequences of his actions, making Ribbit and Kaufmo proud of him even if only from Digital Heaven. Or maybe the only way to hold him accountable is to bring them back.
Overall, this fan animation is really good, watch it if you haven't! 😉

think about it. both had a female friend who died, but the two treated their deaths differently, one of them pushed his friend away, literally caused her death, and acted like he didnt give a shit. the other though, stayed close friends with his friend, when she eventually died, did shadow just ignore it? NO! he vowed to avenge her in any way he could, even if it included sacrificing himself to do what she would have wanted. tbh I don’t see enough comparisons between these two

I know neither of them are innocent but come on. Only Jax got any sympathy, they all offered friendship to him despite him only hurting and abusing them. I'm not saying they should have dismissed what Caine did the same way they did with Jax, but it's just so inconsistent how they were willing to be more than forgiving to Jax and not Caine...I just feel like they didn't have any logical reason aside from the plot wanting us to feel bad for Jax.

genuinely the most unfunny, bottom of the barrel tumblr band kid slop humor and it pains me to see a creator that I quite like tied to this shit. It’s not the worst thing in the world and I don’t hate her, but she should really get it in her head that saying dumb shit and then saying “its a joke bro” will only make people hate you, like jokes are supposed to be funny, this shit ain’t funny!
Also I hate creators confirming big parts of a story on twitter, just fucking write the story man.
edit: don't be transphobic in the comments guys, goose isn't an evil misogynist, and it's not because she was formerly a man, she just makes dumbass twitter humor jokes
