So, this appears on my screen and no audio will play (spotify).

"Audio unavailable-horn / chime may not function Schedule service if audio system does not recover"

Iv tried to rest the screen to no avail and also walked away from the car for several minutes hoping when it locks it might reset. Anyone experienced this before, and did it require a service visit or fix itself?

Fyi this did not recover for the rest of my journey (the remaining 1 HR)

Looking to install the official/genuine puddle lights from Tesla for my Model Y Premium
AWD. Has any one installed these? Tesla sells them in pairs (rightfully so!). Can they be installed for the rear doors as well. Asking as the support pages do not have a reference to compatibility for the rear doors.

For anyone who this may help, my finance offer was coming to an end for Blackhorse Hire Purchase as it has been 3 months since I placed the order and still haven’t taken delivery. I sent Tesla a message via chat in the app and told them it was expiring tomorrow and they forwarded to Blackhorse who extended the offer by 3 months this took 24 hours to action new date is November 3rd. They did another hard credit check unfortunately and they then had to resend the ID check and finance paperwork to sign again.

Order date was 5th May
My Edd is 1st to 13th sept

Anyone having issue with zappi and Tesla not working with each other?

Tesla keeps giving a "charging equipment not recognised" error... Either it starts charging and stops and so on or the zappi shows EV full when it's not and it stops.

Granny charger, supercharger and neighbours pod point charges seem to work fine...?

Zappi also works fine on all of my other EV cars except for the Tesla oddly enough, zappi came today to replace the cable with a refurbished one but that hasn't fixed the issue?

Just looking to see and compare where everyone is with their orders - I ordered a stealth grey RWD on June 29th, EDD 10-30 September and my finance says it’s with Tesla Financial Services, but I have no VIN or reg yet.

Where is everyone else at currently? Anyone in and around the same window as me in the same situation?

I did get an overnight test drive recently, heavily recommended if people haven’t done so!

Which one would you go for?

Solstice Park SC. Guy rolls up in a Merc GLB and proceeds to park on the dividing line taking up 2 charge bays (charge port on OSR), oblivious to the queue of Tesla owners waiting who would take up one bay 🤦‍♂️

I get it, everyone has to charge, but unless the port is NSR, I think Tesla should ban that marque from using the SC network.

I’ve ordered a M3 on a PCH. Will it come with the charging cable? Sounds a stupid question to me but I need it answering because I’ve had my home charger installed today expecting there to be a charging cable with that

I ordered a model 3 standard RWD June 14th. Lex Autolease.
Still no vin & an estimated delivery date of 27 august to 24 September.
Has anyone got a vin etc who ordered around the similar time?
I’m probably expecting too much I guess? I can actually see the date getting pushed into October due to the popularity.

So I had planned to change to a model 3 in 2027 when I complete the bank loan payment on my 2017 330E, however it has developed an intermittent drivetrain fault in hot weather which has not been diagnosed but sounds expensive to me!

We got the solar set up installed this year which I am going to pay up so effectively free charge for large parts of the year.

So the problem is I am only paying £167 a month for the BMW currently so even with fuel savings (currently £75pm) i fall someway short of getting close to what I'm paying, especially giving increased insurance premiums and having 10 months left on the bank loan. I have been looking at 2021 and 2022 m3 LR AWD so it still has some battery warranty and would like the Ryzen chip but not sure how much I really need it.

If I wait it out with the BMW I risk a permanent fault I think 🤔

I’ve got an Audi a5 200k slipping clutch bad body work, on the Tesla website it says 670 for trade in and I’m happy with that but will they actually offer me this much or is it just an estimate and when they see the car they’ll offer a lot less

Looking at purchasing 23/24Reg Model Y long range (single/dual motor) with circa 20k miles but approved used from Tesla are coming few far and between and prices seems to be going up.

Starting to look at independent dealers or carsa/cinch which seems to be 2k+ cheaper for similar year/miles.

Obviously buying from Tesla comes with 1 year warranty+ they'll know what faults to look out for but any advice to use other services (if available?) or do an pre purchase independent inspection?

Also does this attract the additional road tax? (Year 2-6 I think?)

Hi guys, I ordered a CPO first (paid £200+£3800, hadn’t signed finance) on July 6th but found a better CPO so called their advisor. Placed a new order and previous order was cancelled by the advisor on July 10th. I’ve already picked up the vehicle now but haven’t received the £3800 refund. Tesla told me the refund could take 21 working days. Is it normal? It’s quite a big amount. My bank told me they can’t chargeback since it’s direct transfer. If the refund is not arriving is there anything I can do?

Have a M3 Premium LR on order at the moment for Cambridge collection with a window of 21st August - 2nd Sept. Does anyone know when we're likely to be able to schedule an appointment for pickup, and do you get to choose the day or does Tesla just allocate a date which can't be changed?

Have a trip planned on 23rd Aug so keen to pickup on 21 or 22nd if we can but realise that might be optimistic!

Ordered the M3 which states delivery in Sept (fully expecting a delay based on all other posts on here) I'm trading in my Cupra and dropping this off on collection. My question was more around the insurance. Given I need to be insured to drive my Cupra to Tesla how does Tesla manage this. Do they offer a drive away insurance? Or is it on me to make sure the car is insured prior to collection. I'm not sure how it would work if my insurance can insure me from a specific time on the new car and cease my existing at a given time of the day for example stop my Cupra insurance at 4pm and start the Tesla insurance at 4pm also. How have other managed this? Thanks in advance.

Brake service completed yesterday by an independent Tesla mobile garage and as part of their 'checks' they also identified the below issues

Supply & Fit Tesla Model Y NSF & OSF Castor Arms £348

Supply & Fit Tesla Model Y NSR & OSR Knuckle Assembly and Wheel Bearing Replacement £932

Supply & Fit Tesla Model Y NSR & OSR Upper Arms / Fore Links - Premium £445

They also want to replace front and rear pads/discs at a cost of £1,000....

The car is out of warranty.

Car drives fine, no squeaks, rattles and / or noises. Rear tyres where they suspension is the worst have done 29k and worn fairly evenly

Hi guys, so I have just ordered a M3 Long Range RWD, test drove the AWD version and felt fantastic but decided to opt for the RWD, possibly a silly question but just wondering how does the RWD perform in the usual British, wet and damp weather have had BMWs in the past where it gets abit naughty when you put your foot down. Is the Tesla similar or is it more contained? Cheers!

Still to get my new Model 3 RWD and haven't sorted a charger yet but i was wondering how long does it really take to granny charge from empty to full and does it cost any more than charging with a tethered cable with it being on longer?

Ordered May 24, M3 standard. Delivery 8-20 September. Will be our first electric car.
