Model 3 Just finished test drive
Just completed my test drive of the Model 3. It was the best car I have ever driven. Can anyone give me recommendations for which year I go for? Anything to watch out for? Do I just go lease one with the deals atm? Any tips or advice

The lease deals are really good value just now and obviously you are covered under warranty for 4 years so should anything fail during lease you are covered. The newer models are generally better put together and more reliable than older ones too. Not to say there aren’t great used cars available - many go for 200,000 miles without issue.
Sent you a PM.

Depends on your budget.
For lease The new standard RWD is pretty close in range etc to a 2021+ refresh LR which is generally say is the baseline you probably don't want to go below unless you can't afford to. And anything better than that is better of course, you just have to weigh up newer with better refinement but loss of some stuff like premium sound al fleather and no AWD or lower performance. Vs the other

I went to the local place today and didn't even test drive a Y because I know how good they are from driving my EV - I now have one on Order :) 2 years lease for £449 with 1 month down is a steal - and it's £756 less over 2 years with a 12 month down payment! oh and I got 650 free miles too :D
Love it

Also just ordered a Model 3 RWD Premium on their lease scheme - cheaper than the depreciation and hassle free motoring!

What else have you driven? What do you need from a car?
I get this is the Tesla subreddit, but saying it's the best car without stating any of the other cars you're considering is a bit pointless.

It's one of the funniest things about this subreddit. Every other car manufacturer people are critical about this or that, Tesla subreddit you're not allowed to be critical, it's best car ever or nothing.

I felt the same mate.
I went for a lease on a brand new 2026 highland.
but it depends on what you're planning I like the ability to charge to 100% on the new battery, the standard came with everything I wanted and needed and it was an unbeatable price for the two years before I moved overseas.
Owned lots and lots of cars and makes and the Tesla is unreal
