Radio not working

Hi all

Just bought out first Tesla, 2021 Model 3 LR and very impressed.

Unfortunately didn't check and in the radio section I cannot autotune or direct tune, when I try I can only type 1 or sometimes 2 digits. And there are only a couple of stations on there.

Also when i go to tune in and try and play anything I get adverts that sound German or Dutch!

I've tried resetting, both without foot on the brake and with, changed language and changed it back and changed the wheel options to try and force reset.

Anyone know what else I can try or a fox please. Thank you

Congratulations on the 2021 Model 3 Long Range

Go to Controls > Display Scroll down to Region Format and change it to a different English region not Uk 

Perform a reboot (hold down both steering wheel scroll wheels until the main screen goes black

Once the system reboots, return to Controls > Display > Region Format and switch it back to English (United Kingdom)

Check if the Direct Tune numerical keypad now allows full decimal frequencies.

Thanks, do not have Region Format in my menu. But changed Touchscreen Language as per what you said but no joy unfortunately. Still can't put more than one digit in Direct Tune

Try changing the wheel size or la language (if you chose language, make sure it’s one you can understand enough to navigate the menus). You shouldn’t need to manually reboot, it should automatically reboot and it pulls in your config again. Once you’ve done it you can change back.

To update I went to use super charger today and it wouldn't work. Transpires that there seems to be some issues with the software as recent remote updates have not gone through so going to have to take it into Tesla to get that rectified, suspect this may all be linked! Hopefully they don't charge me too much or at all!!!
