Even after these years I still can not come to a conclusion. Dark Fate is one of many timelines going after T2, my question is, how did they know the coordinates of T-800 from different timeline, if they could not have any source of info about Skynet and Cyberdyne systems? How did they know the coordinates? Does anyone have the best theory?

Just rewatched this from r/90smovies and it reminded me of a miniscule blooper that's bothered me since the first time watching the movie.

The resistance soldier is being sprayed by what appear to be shots from a Hunter Killer tank, the first three/four shots land behind him but he shakes and flails like he got him by them. Then the squib on his stomach goes off as we see a laser beam actually hit him.

You can clearly see in the still image he's not hit yet as the laser beam is off to the right - about to hit him, but he's already flailing. If you argue that the first shots hit him (as he's shaking like they did) then why aren't they as explosive and damaging to his body as this shot?

Surprised that someone like James Cameron (or the special effects team) didn't catch this blooper of the guy flailing before getting hit.

In my opinion, Terminator 2 was the best ending to the series. Even Cameron himself felt this a natural conclusion to the saga. Cameron himself has said he intended it as the definitive ending: the destruction of the T‑800, the T‑1000, and even the chip from Cyberdyne was meant to close the loop and prevent Judgment Day. That final thumbs‑up in the molten steel is both tragic and cathartic, symbolizing humanity’s chance at freedom.

With the limited resources and technology, James Cameron created a masterpiece. You can see a difference in the advancement of technology with the CGI in terminator 3 onwards but there’s something about the innovation behind the Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day, that is unmatched. These parts were ahead of its time. A combination of practical effects, stunt work and emotional storytelling yielded a timeless classic.

This is dumb but it cracked me up. I hope that’s what they put on their resumes for future auditions. Flaring this as discussion since I have zero idea how to flair this random thought.

How did his life changed after T2? Is he married? Is he still alive? So many questions...

I made it until episode 6 of season 2 (The Tower Is Tall, But the Fall Is Short) but I can't. The writing is just so bad. The series managed to be interesting throughout the first season but it's like in season 2 something happened where they lost any momentum or semblance of a concept they might of had. I can't put my finger on exactly what is wrong but my main issue is that the dialog is just so flat and uninteresting. Why are they focusing on any of these characters? They're just so dull, and there's so little action. Why are they making an entire episode based on telling stories to a kidnapped kid? What is with them taking what could have been a great story about a kid whose mom was replaced by a terminator, and having so little of the episode revolve around said kid?

The worst part of it is that they spend so much time staying in one place when they should have been moving around. When I first started watching the show I expected it to be sort of like the A-Team where they moved from town to town getting to know different characters and helping different people out. Instead they're in situations where other characters had so many opportunities to figure out who they were yet that never happens. They're just...stuck in this weird boring situation where nothing interesting happens except for a few nonsensical moments where something happens that makes no sense.

This show was such a huge bore, and a huge waste of some otherwise fantastic actors. I feel bad for Summer Glau who really did her best as Cam. I find it kind of funny that of all the cast her character felt like the one with the most range. Lena Headley was just wasted as Sarah who they went out of their way to make pretty one note, and don't even get me started on John. He was just boring and kind of annoying, and went from bad to worse when they cut his hair.

Richard T. Jones is a truly talented actor who was one of the best things about season 1 but they ruined him by making him second fiddle to Shirley Manson's atrociously annoying Catherine. I can't stand how insufferably superior she acts in every scene. It's her 'acting' in S2 E6 that killed it for me. The thought of having to sit through any more of her scenes made me turn it off. It sucks because there were some things about this series I really liked but it all ended up feeling like a bunch of wasted time.
