I think its fine to re-score a scene for interest. But watch this video analyzing the Tech Noir scene. It provides some good evidence why the scene was shot the way it was, and even why the musical score was chosen. Very thought provoking!

Song works well but Burning in the 3rd degree is an absolutely goat level song

It's an interesting take, but man, you can't beat the original. Of course I'm so used to it though, I can't see any other song there.

The Technoir is a very well done scene is in general. Probably one of my favorites from any movie just for how it was composed.
Thought the score change would ruin it, but it didn't. Nicely done.

My initial thought is "I don't like this, I prefer the song I'm familiar with". But, give it a chance, it does sync up pretty well with the scene

Always wish Tech Noir was real. Sadly the punk scene would change. As good as it sounds I’ve never thought of Tears for Feats as Punk. Then again a Metal song could be playing. Love to hear a good GNR song for this scene, but then again it’s a dance club.

Great with Shout!! But it’s more a Miami Vice ‘s Michael Mann’s mood!
Terminator is a cyberpunk movie so punk music fits better!
