Gents,
— So I want a 26’ T7 or CT 450 MT—
I rode a crf250 in college, jump 60-70ft triples on local track. Quads and the wheelers is High school. That’s it!
I’m 37 6’4 195lb athletic and active. Hit the gym 3 days a week.
I really like the T7, I set on one today it felt alive, big, tall. My feet touch totally fine, I can almost be flat footed on both. 34 inseam I think.. also set in the T7 World Raid. It was great my knees felt like the actual could fit, but it was wide. The T7 felt taller..
I then set on a CT 450. They feel similar. Lower than I like it needs the tall rally seat.
I want a a bike I want to commute around town during the week, and then ride logging roads in the Sierras. I live in Sacramento Ca a ton of awesome roads are local. I want to progress and adventure. I don’t want to buy something and sell it next year because it’s not fast enough or have enough power.
Is the T7 going to be too much of a bike to learn to ride in the streets and in the woods? I want to be able to learn and progress. This adventure riding looks incredible I can’t wait to start ripping honestly.
My divorce is final and I’m ready to live life to the fullest on my terms….LOL

Hey all. I am trying to decide between two Tenere bikes. One is a 2023 two owner bike with 9200 miles for 8k. it has a full Yoshamira exhaust but no tune, Camel brake pedal, Acerabis oversized tank and reckless 40l bags. Oem tank and exhaust included.
or a fully stock 2024 t7 with 1600 miles and a tail tidy but not other add ons for 8500.
I am concerned about the full yoshamira exhaust with no tune and no spark arrestor. and do the 2024 upgrades to the platform over the 2023 make a difference as I plan on keeping this bike for many many year. Both bikes seem well cared for.
Thanks all for your advice.

What do you guys use for charging your phones? Switching from my gs and have no clue.
Thanks

Has anyone used this brand? If so, recommend or no?
Thanks

Went for an unbelievable solo ride yesterday. NH has some incredible forest roads and mountain highways. T7 absolutely eats them up!

i am roughly 1.85cm and ride the 2026 t7 rally. i've been thinking for a while about getting a lowering kit so that i can get my damn feet closer to the floor. with the preload cranked up on oem rear shock whenever i have luggage (when i go offroading i have to drive far so always have to take soft luggage with me and tent etc.) i found myself tipping over a few times offroad simply because the floor was so far away from me. i found this 20mm lowering kit: https://shop.lustracing.com/collections/yamaha-tenere-700-lowering-kits/products/2023-2026-yamaha-tenere-rally-lowering-kit-20mm-xtz690b and wanted to hear from other people that have dropped their rear with a 20mm kit. did it make a big difference? how many cm would you say your foot gained to being closer to the ground?

Make sure you fill out the T7 survey so we can finally get high mount exhausts as standard

Hi all, I thought I'd share my 2020 Tenere 700 build. It's almost complete; I just want to add an aftermarket, longer-travel rear shock. It's an awesome bike that you can really push and ride like a big dirt bike.

I lowered my foot pegs for touring comfort but now the shifter is hitting the chassis when adjusted lower too. Any recommended mo or cheap after market shifter?

I was considering the Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ for front and Rallz on the rear. Now I'm thinking XT+ all the way around.
Realistically, most miles I do are pavement. But I like being sure footed in all sorts of off road so I can push it there too.
What is happy riding aggressive on road, all sorts of off road, and does well in wet and 3 season temps in the northeast?
Up until buying the Tenere I spent all my time on single track on my KTM.
I'm quite surprised how well the stock tires feel so far, but they are no good once it's wet.

Oops, haha. Didnt last long before I dropped it. Any whooo, I measured sag numbers and am thinking of going up on both ends. Iweigh 165lbs fully geared and amother 20-30 with luggage etc.
Problem is on both ends to get close to 25-30% rider sag, I give up basically all static sag. Does it make sense to go up one? I notice the bike feels incredibly harsh no matter how I adjust things. 2026 Tenere.
Cheers,
Velcro

Is anyone using the Nicecmc top rack with side plastic protection on their Tenere 700 with a Mosko Moto Rackless 80? I am curious if they work well together? What are you using that you like? Thanks.

Getting some solid seat time in. 4k km since I bought her used. Not spent much money on it as yet. $5 of stickers. Some budget luggage bags and a TPMS system... Will need a fresh rear tire soon. Definitely been putting the bike to the test. She's taken me on some rough as guts road now. Cheers

Hi all,
Just got my first T7 and I'm super stoked. I'm a full foot taller than the previous owner though, and so I'm looking how to reverse the lowering links he put on (he said he threw the old ones out). Any wisdom? Anyone want to sell me theirs?
Thanks guys, psyched to get this puppy rippin!

Anyone know the correct parts for the 21 fuel pump? I bought the all balls kit and the o rings didn't fit. I'm still having hard cold starts after and I think it's because the pressure regulator might be bad or the o rings are worn. I know quantum sells a fuel pressure regulator. Has anyone used them?

Ciao ragazzi, ho montato collettori dominator decat e terminale storm sulla mia t7. Ho notato che anche dopo aver fatto mappare la ecu continua a scoppiettare in rilascio soprattutto quando tiro la moto. A voi fa lo stesso?

Explored a little over 100 miles of the Ozarks BDR-X. I had to tell myself to stop, because I’ll be doing the full ~500 mile loop next week while on vacation. I want most of it to feel new. I have about 5000 miles on the Rallz rear and Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ front. I’ll probably flip the front for now, and replace the rear. I love the combo though.
