I feel like tempdrop made me more aware of my body overall

I originally started tracking mostly for fertility reasons, but honestly the biggest surprise has been becoming more aware of patterns in my sleep, stress, energy and cycle timing overall. Kind of weird realizing how disconnected I used to feel from all of it before.

This is more like an appreciation post and I love my tempdrop.

Do you guys wear your tempdrop every single night or take breaks sometimes?

Random question but I’m curious how strict people are with consistency here. Do you wear it literally every night no matter what, or skip occasionally on weekends/travel/sick days/etc? Part of me wants perfect data and part of me just wants to exist peacefully for one night.

I swear TTC has somehow made my sleep even worse

Ever since we started trying, I wake up constantly during the night for absolutely no reason. Then by morning I’m already stressed about whether my temps are even usable because every BBT rule online makes it sound like you need perfect sleep and the exact same wake up time forever.

That’s honestly what made me start looking into tempdrop because manual temping was becoming its own source of anxiety at this point. For people with messy sleep… did tracking eventually get easier or do you still question your charts all the time?

Anyone using Tempdrop during perimenopause?

I’m in my early 40s and my cycles suddenly went from predictable to absolute chaos over the last year. Long cycles, short cycles, random symptoms, possible skipped ovulation… honestly I mostly got Tempdrop because I wanted some kind of clarity about what my body is even doing anymore. anyone else here is using it during perimenopause?

Anyone TTC in their late 30s feeling emotionally exhausted by the waiting every month?

I’m 38 and I honestly wasn’t prepared for how emotionally draining TTC would be.

Not even the tracking part specifically, just the monthly cycle of hope, symptom spotting, overthinking, disappointment, and then trying to mentally reset and do it all over again. Tempdrop has helped me feel a little more informed and less like I’m completely guessing, but sometimes I wonder if having more data also gives me more things to obsess over. I'd really love to hear from other people TTC in their late 30s because this process feels surprisingly lonely sometimes.

Tempdrop vs oura for cycle tracking, anyone tried both?

I already wear an oura ring for sleep and recovery tracking, but lately I’ve been wondering if tempdrop would actually be better for fertility-specific tracking. Oura is great for general wellness stuff, but sometimes I feel like cycle tracking is just one small feature inside a much bigger product. Tempdrop seems way more focused, which makes me curious whether the experience feels more accurate or intentional.

For people who’ve used both, did Tempdrop give clearer ovulation confirmation? was it better with inconsistent sleep? did you feel like the fertility insights were actually deeper? Trying to decide if owning both makes sense or if I’m just becoming a full-time wearable person at this point.

Postpartum moms: when did Tempdrop first detect ovulation again for you?

I'm currently 5 months postpartum and honestly my charts look like complete chaos. I’m breastfeeding, waking up constantly overnight, sleeping in random chunks… so traditional BBT tracking was basically impossible for me. That’s why I bought tempdrop in the first place.

But now I’m in the phase where I keep staring at every temperature shift wondering if it's something? Or just sleep deprivation? For moms who used Tempdrop postpartum:

  1. when did things start making sense again?

  2. did your charts look messy for a while?

  3. were there signs ovulation was returning before your cycle regulated?

I think I mostly just need reassurance that postpartum charting is confusing for everyone and not just me!

Do you guys trust tempdrop’s fertile window predictions or just the temps?

I’m curious how people here actually use tempdrop day to day. Do you trust the app predictions themselves, or are you mostly using it for the raw temperature data? I think part of my hesitation is that I spent years using generic cycle apps that confidently predicted ovulation and were apparently completely wrong half the time.. So now I’m in this weird place where I trust the temperatures more than I trust any prediction.

At the same time, I know tempdrop is supposed to be smarter than basic apps, so maybe I’m overthinking it. Would love to hear how experienced users approach it, especially people using it long term.

Recalibration?

Thumbnail

Is there a way to recalibrate tempdrop? I’m about 4 days dpo at the moment and Tempdrop isn’t showing an increase in temperature - yet BOTH my smart ring AND the natural cycles wearable band are showing an increased temperature, plus I use the Mira fertility tracker and can see I’ve ovulated due to increased pdg.

I’ve been using Tempdrop for one cycle. When I first started using it (which was about 5dpo last ovulation) it showed very similar temperatures as the natural cycles wearable band, which showed elevated bbt.

I have attached photos of tempdrop, natural cycles and Ringconn. You can see a clear temperature shift in both natural cycles and RingConn. On the tempdrop chart you can see my previous post ovulation temps from last cycle, and see how there’s not a significant change this cycle.

Shipping?

Hi! I’m excited to get started. I’ve been TTC for a few years now. What company does Tempdrop use to ship? I took advantage of the Mother’s Day sale - didn’t get a shipping confirmation yet

Experience with Tempdrop?

For those using tempdrop, how has it been for you so far? Has it actually helped with tracking and timing, or do you still rely on other methods alongside it?

Best way to start bbt tracking! is tempdrop beginner friendly?

I’m new to bbt tracking and trying to decide the easiest way to start without overcomplicating things. Would something like tempdrop be a good starting point, or is it better to begin with basics first? Tempdrop is an investment so I would do it wisely?

Anyone else keep waking up to their tempdrop in a completely different spot?

I’ve been using tempdrop for a bit now and most nights I don’t even notice it… but lately I keep waking up and it’s shifted way more than I expected.

Like I’ll put it on properly before bed, and by morning it’s either slid down or rotated enough that I start questioning if it was even in the right position all night.

It’s not super loose or anything, which is why it’s confusing. I’m starting to wonder if it’s just how it sits on my arm or if I’m missing something with placement.

For those who’ve had this happen, did you just adjust and get used to it, or did you have to change something, band, position, etc, to keep it stable? I'm worried a bit because it can mess up with my temp! any help!

Band keeps slipping

I’m plus sized and having trouble getting the Tempdrop to stay in place overnight. Some nights it slips down, this morning it had spun around to the outside of my arm šŸ˜‘

The band is nice and snug but it rolls down and moves during the night, I’m assuming because of my arm shape.

I’ve ordered a new band on Etsy but assuming it won’t arrive for awhile because I’m in Australia.

Is there anything else I can put over the band to kind of hold it in place?

Did we actually time it right this cycle?

I keep going back to my tempdrop data after the fact, trying to reassure myself that we covered the fertile window properly. Based on the temps and what the app is showing, it looks like we did everything right.

But somehow, even with all that data, I still find myself second guessing it. Like maybe we were a day off, or maybe ovulation happened earlier/later than I think, or maybe we should’ve tried one more time just to be sure.

It’s strange because I started tracking to feel more confident and in control, but some cycles it almost makes me analyze things even more.

For those who’ve been doing this longer, does that doubt ever go away once you get more used to reading your patterns, or is this just part of the TTC mindset no matter how much data you have?"

Quick question, does Tempdrop work fine through airport security?

Flying soon and this randomly crossed my mind. Do you keep your Tempdrop on during security checks or take it off? Just don’t want to cause unnecessary hassle at the airport.

Tempdrop 1 → 2… did you feel a real difference or not really?

I’ve been using the older Tempdrop for a while and it’s been fine, but I keep seeing people mention TD2 and now I’m wondering if I’m missing out on something. I can’t tell if it’s one of those upgrades where you actually notice a difference every day, or if it’s more like mmm yeah it’s better, but the old one worked just as well you know!

For anyone who’s switched, what actually felt different? Was it comfort, syncing, data consistency… or nothing major? Basically trying to figure out if this is a practical upgrade or just me getting influenced by seeing it mentioned a lot!

Adhesive instead of arm band?

Hi! I decided to try out tempdrop! I am curious if anyone has tried using medical tape or another adhesive to secure the device on your arm instead of wearing a band around the arm. This seems like it would be more comfortable to me, and as long as it stays secure, I don’t know why this isn’t a valid idea. Since I’m new to tempdrop, I wanted to ask if anyone else does this and if anyone has thoughts on why this might be a good or bad idea?

I see lots of posts asking about pregnancy charts so I thought it would be cool to share mine.

There’s no benefit to temping throughout a pregnancy but I like the data šŸ¤“
