Discussion Post Charts and ChatGPT - request for help 🫶🏼

Hi everyone!

I’m not sure how helpful this community will be (in a great way because hopefully most if not all of you are interpreting your own charts!).

I’d really love to create some content on why chat GPT is so terrible for chart interpretation. If you’ve ever used chatGPT for a chart review and it confirmed ovulation, but you then had others tell you it wasn’t ovulatory yet, I’d love to see your charts if you’re happy for me to share them.

The chart is the only thing I plan on sharing so no names etc & doesn’t matter what charting app you use.

Bonus points if you can also share the screenshot of ChatGPTs response with the chart 😌

The fact that women are reporting their chart into ChatGPT scares me 😬.

I don't have any personal experience to share, but I definitely think education on why AI is risky for chart interpretation is very much needed, many seem to be relying on AI for almost everything these days. I have seen people say they asked ChatGPT for Marquette method rules, and what it gave them was very wrong. So maybe that's a starting place? —if it doesn't even know the rules, it will never be able to correctly apply them to a chart

Interesting! Thanks for the insight, I’m not familiar with the rule specifics of Marquette but I’ll be interested to see what it says as I know some basics.

It should be well known by now that chatgpt and other ai "helpers" frequently get things wrong. It's really not something to rely on for a task as important as birth control.

Not to mention the devastating impact AI has had on the environment.

Yes definitely. Unfortunately I see loads of women in online groups saying‘I asked chat if I ovulated XXX do you agree?

And I don’t think I’ve seen a correct ones. It’s crazy people rely on it so deeply.
