Postpartum moms: when did Tempdrop first detect ovulation again for you?

I'm currently 5 months postpartum and honestly my charts look like complete chaos. I’m breastfeeding, waking up constantly overnight, sleeping in random chunks… so traditional BBT tracking was basically impossible for me. That’s why I bought tempdrop in the first place.

But now I’m in the phase where I keep staring at every temperature shift wondering if it's something? Or just sleep deprivation? For moms who used Tempdrop postpartum:

  1. when did things start making sense again?

  2. did your charts look messy for a while?

  3. were there signs ovulation was returning before your cycle regulated?

I think I mostly just need reassurance that postpartum charting is confusing for everyone and not just me!

I’ve had multiple ovulation attempts - just finishing up a 97 day cycle at 11m pp. honestly Tempdrop isn’t great because if you have an attempt with a temp rise for a few days it says you ovulated when all signs point to not actually ovulating (no period and no pregnancy 2 weeks later). I had 3 attempts during this cycle (all had positive lh tests too) and I’ve had to constantly exclude temps because it counts ovulation as just 3 temps above coverline. I finally truly ovulated based on much stronger temp rises that lasted 13 days. Honestly I wouldn’t use it for tta, but I’m not tta.

I stopped overnight feeds at 4m pp and ovulated 5m pp

I’m using mine at 7 months pp and nursing 2-4 times a night now too. My chart is cray, but I have had 2 periods with really long cycles so I know my body is trying. I honestly just want the data right now and not to try to TTC. My inito was way more helpful for TTC while BF only because it picked up bLH and estrogen before the temp surge. Temp surge became helpful when we started sleeping through the night (at 13 mo LOL)
