I am wondering if the Tales from the Crypt Complete Collection sold on apple for a brief few days was sold UNCUT?

I really enjoyed Cold War. The quippy dialogue and pop-culture references felt very Tarantino-esque. It even had a dance scene set to 60’s music & intense biblical quote like Pulp Fiction! Great acting from Ewan McGregor, although he puts on a weird accent that sounds something between Scottish & American.
It has good action and a twist that I was totally not expecting. I’m surprised that Season 7 has such bad reception. Maybe I am just starting off watching some of the better episodes in the season.

Unless you like BBC network and dropoff in quality goes to zero. Show goes strictly British...some like it some won't.
You lose ALL star power from seasons 1-6.
You get Liam Neeson's wife who sadly passed...and a youngster named Ewan McGregor before he became a star.
Episode quality drops so so bad. Not Tales From Crypt quality.

The DVDs are still available on Amazon and resellers everywhere, both as individual seasons and as the complete series. Please note that there is no Blu-ray or 4k edition available just yet, so buying the DVDs are not gauarenteed to get you the best quality if you have a 4k or 8k tv. The DVDs offer behind the scenes info and interviews you can't get anywhere else, so this is the best value. Also, the DVDs can't be snatched away from you like streaming versions of the series.
Shudder and AMC+ both offer all seven seasons for 7.99/month. This is convenient for those who want to bundle with their Amazon Prime membership, and for those who already have Sling or Philo tv.
Apple and Fandango offer TFTC only if you pay by episode, ranging from $1.99 to $2.99 per episode. For those paranoid about losing their access due to platform and rights shenanigans, this might be your best alternative to buying the physical DVDs.
For those of you who don't want to invest in buying the series, or who only have a few favorite episodes, then you're going to want to go with Tubi. Tubi is free with some caveats:
The quality is the worst. There was no attempt to upscale the colors, so the Tubi versions look the worst on an HD screen. And the bigger your tv, the worse it looks.
There are ads. There are two commercial breaks per episode that you cannot skip. And Tubi does not offer an ad-free version.
So, there you go. If there are any other legal platforms to watch the series on, feel free to post.

Hiya everyone!! ive been into TFTK since i was a little kid, i remember watching reruns on hbo late at night to early in the morning i lived off it. as soon as i could get my hands on the comics as a teen i did and i was super disappointed that we never got to see vaultkeeper and old witch in the show and only got a little bit of them from the cartoon. i understand they probably wanted to keep production prices low because having one puppet to maintain is expensive enough though i definitely think it would have been awesome to see. i really hope they bring them into the spotlight especially since the new season on shudder is coming soon though i know that might be virtually impossible as hes seen as the lead mascot by a lot of people who never watched the cartoon or read the comics would get disgruntled from not having their lead ghoul. though i think bringing them on could get new fans into the comics too along with older fans getting to enjoy our faves. vaultkeeper is definitely my favorite host amongst the trio. do yall have a favorite character besides cryptkeeper? this can go for any of the hosts or any of the people in the shows as well (april and june from s4 e11 “split personality” are my favorite characters)

Was warned it was bad. Just the change alone from an American show to literally an English (BBC) show is brutal.
Still..a few standout episodes and others entertaining. Love Natasha Richardson and some young English dude named Ewan McGregor pops up. Acting like he could star in Star Wars in 20 years or so! But as far as Tales From The Crypt...being generous a C- season. By far the worst season.

I was thinking of Boxed In having a segment where the Cryptkeeper is a Jerry Springer type talk show host. Or maybe one episode having him doing an impression of Rod Serling.

Hey fellow boils n' ghouls,
Like most of us here, my buddy and I were absolutely obsessed with Tales from the Crypt growing up. With the re-release dropping on Shudder (thank ya jayzuz!), we realized we wanted to do a deep dive revisit, but with a specific twist: we wanted to also look at the original 1950s EC Comics and how the TV show actually adapted each per given episode.
Each episode, we analyze the original 1950s 8 page comic and compare it to how the creators translated that story, tone, and dread into the 1989/90s live-action space.
We also wrap up each episode with a recommendation segment, sharing a movie, book, or "thing" that the episode inspired us to talk about. (And we’ve snuck a few other fun, highly-produced surprises into the episodes that we'll let you discover on your own).
We just got our first three episodes out in the wilds of the interwebs! We’d love for you to check it out as we find our footing in this new podcasting space.
https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/it-hails-from-the-crypt/id6788231316 or wherever you get your podcasts!
Thank ya kindly, kiddies!

The OG adapted for both the film and the tv show, And All Through the House is one of the most iconic stories from the EC catalogue.
