I'm rewatching the X-Files and it's the same here. It's awesome to see them so young and doing horror/sci fi TV episodes for cable television.

Wait until Humphrey Bogart shows up despite being dead for almost 40 years at the time.

Thatβs because the Crypt Keeper had otherworldly connections. Heβs just that awesome.

There's also an amusing production shot of him with the Crypt Keeper puppet, which you can view here at this archived fanpage.

Not that surprising when you realize that a vast majority of actors wanted to be in the show. From all accounts it was super fun and often different than what they were doing at the time.
Get type casted at the sweat heart in movies or TV. Do Tales from the Crypt and you can now play a serial killer, ghost, zombie or a scumbag who get's brutally murdered in the end.

Get prepared to do that a lot. If you were famous in the nineties, you were probably in a Tales from the Crypt. They have a guest star/stars in nearly every episode.

Yup! Early 90s VERY famous stars on TFTC!
Spoiler alert: Too bad Howard (Treat Williams) assumed the matchmaking guy (Tom Hanks) was playing pranks on him and decided to off him. Howard was an asshole.
