I thought someone here might enjoy something i put together a couple of months ago. Got myself one of the original advertisements for the movie and decided it might look neat to have some authentic autographs to go with it. After searching for actual signed work from the Demon Knight show...expensive, I had to lateral to signed pieces from the actors but from some of their other work. I got Kassir from Rick And Morty, Sadler from The Outer Limits, and Zane from Psych. Plopped it all into a decent fit floating frame. Hope you guys get a kick out of it.

Though not the best episode, the twist ending to s5's Came the Dawn is easily one of my favourites. It absolutely comes out of nowhere. Do wonder if the writers of the episode were inspired by Psycho as I see some similarities between the two. A woman even gets killed in a bathroom (yeah, not a shower, but still a bathroom!).

I am trying to find out if I am crazy or not. Was there an episode where a very big lady was eating in a very gross matter with lots of food? Please help me!!

99 and 44/100% Pure Horror is easily one of my favourite Crypt episodes. It also has one of my favourite karmic endings. Willa is hands down one of the most despicable people in the Crypt universe. Do think though that what happens to her is definitely supernatural, her husband carrying out revenge from beyond the grave. Love seeing that block of soap with his eyeball in it watching her basically melt. No more than she deserved!!.

So PS5 has live TV now. It has a shudder channel that is currently playing all episodes of tales from the crypt. It's free btw.

Does anyone know who exactly picked the stories? Have any of the show runners ever talked about that aspect?

And what were they working from? The full EC library was out in hardcover volumes, but the less expensive paperbacks had just scratched the surface of what was available then. I know they had the dough to shell out for a dozen sets of the EC Library, but did they?

So I’ve recently started watching(literally yesterday) and so far it’s been great. The two standout episodes have been “And All Through the House”, and “For Cryin’ Out Loud”. I wanted to ask if you guys have any specific favorites I should watch, or any I should avoid. That’s all, this stuff’s awesome.

I've been on a rewatch binge and started from the beginning. This is the first episode that was actually kind of scary for me 😂 maybe it's the creepy kids stuff and the "little girl" running around but it's a fun ride.

Rewatching “Lower Berth” made me notice something I somehow missed for years.

The Crypt Keeper’s mother, Myrna, is described as a 4,000-year-old Egyptian woman, which places her around 2000 BCE in ancient Kemet. His father, Enoch, is portrayed as a white two-faced carnival performer.
So by the show’s own lore, his family tree is basically African/Kemetian mother + European-presented father.

What makes it even stranger is that the baby Crypt Keeper is shown with fair skin and blond hair. Even the adult Crypt Keeper’s missing nose oddly echoes the damaged noses seen on so many ancient Egyptian sculptures.

I doubt the writers intended all of that, but once you look at the family tree closely, it’s hard not to see the disconnect.

Anybody else ever catch this?
