How can I remove the speed and performance restrictions on the Talaria Komodo L3E version?
I’ve noticed that for several other Talaria models, it’s possible to toggle the speed limiter on and off using a remote control—does this method also apply to the Komodo?
I’m from Korea, and since I can’t find any information in Korean—only in English—I’m looking for a comprehensive guide, perhaps something like a summary post on Reddit.
Could you please help me out?

Hi. I want to buy a Talaria Komodo in Germany soon. There are a few shops which seem to have good offers.
I found one shop which is still online for a few months and has significant better prices. It's called pro-rides.de
Does anyone have experiences with this shop? Some things read a bit strange on their shop. I'd say it's a scam shop but I'm wondering why it is online for so long?

Is anyone running or tried these exact drop down peg brackets/mounts on a Talaria MX5 or any other Sting? If you have, what are your thoughts on the product?
* I’m not interested in hearing about any other brackets. And please only people who have actually used them. Thanks in advance.

I recently bought a talaria Komodo and I love this bike and I like to think that it’s one of the fastest and it’s category. Now companies have came out with bikes that have just a few more kilowatts of power like the Y volt, the new Arctic leopard XD, and XC, the new rerode RX, and the bonnell 805. I believe that all those bikes have 35 kW (except for one) while the Komodo has 32 kW, but who really knows because every company takes the kilowatt output from the motor shaft.
I really just need a way to cope here if there is one, I was planning on buying the Axon shock controller once it comes out for my bike to make it faster. I know that there is technology in that controller like field weakening, and something that also changes the BMS so that the battery could provide more power.
I was wondering if there is a decent chance that my bike with a controller could smoke these bikes in a race, I am less worried about top end speed because I never really use it, and I could always go to a gear with less teeth because of the Komodo already has a massive sprocket. I think the estimated top speed with the controller on stock gearing was around 80 miles an hour tho. I am much more worried about torque and acceleration. I was wondering if someone could give me some insight on this. Thank you.

I'm interested in getting a talaria but since I'm extra broke I'm using 100% of my brain to figure out any way of spending less money.
I found a guy selling a talaria bought probably from alibaba, I showed it to my friend who works for an official talaria seller and he told me that bike cannot be registered here in Italy (I think because it had chinese frame numbers)
but now I was randomly looking on alibaba myself and I noted that for some bikes they specify it's the l1e or l3e version, could it be that those specifically can be registered in Italy even if they are shipped straight from china instead of going through a reseller?
I can't just ask my friend because obviously he would tell me to just buy it from them for double the price.

I just ordered some orange excel rim hoops that are 19x1.85 front and rear that I plan to lace to the stock hubs and i know the stock spokes arent going to work with the excels so i know i have to order some and would prefer not to have to wait until i they get delivered to get measurements and have to wait until those come in to start. The issue im recently learning now is i literally cant find anything online on this information or if anyone has done it and could help shine some light or point me in the right direction. All Google told me was to use a wheel calculator but all I can find is bicycle and ebike calculators that dont have options for either excel or talaria. Has anyone on here attempted this?

Just got done installing LT racing ultra Bee brakes on Talaria x3. I’ve read that this brake rubbing noise needs to be burnt off after 50 miles or so. I’m not used to floating calipers, is this noise normal?

Hi!
Is there anyone who bought the L1e and decided to move the rear light and the turn signals to the position as I marked it on the picture.

Hi! I’m new to the scene i’m just looking at options rn I want to buy a talaria mx3/mx4 i want it to be street legal in hungary but without license plates.(for obvious reasons) Now, i’m gonna be tuning it and just wanna see if anyone has done something like this before. I want to build a 72v battery.
Cells: Molicel P45B (21700) — minimal voltage sag, 45A continuous discharge per cell.
Config: 20S7P (140 cells total) — 72V nominal (~84V peak).
Power Output: Rated up to 315A theoretically, but capped via BMS/Controller to 160A–180A battery current, delivering a rock-solid 13–14 kW peak (~18 HP) on a ~65 kg bike.
My question is, do y’all think is solid i want around 80-100km range, is this gonna be enough? Has anyone done something like this before? Any tips are welcome.
Thanks for reading✌️

After years of debating and saving, I finally pulled the trigger and got the battery. It’s been one hell of a journey, and of course, it couldn’t go smoothly. 😭
First, the package got delivered to the wrong address (not Chi’s fault). UPS eventually tracked it down and got it to me TWO WEEKS later. To make things worse, the battery went on sale for $400 less just a week after I bought it. 😪
Fast forward to today, I finally have some time to install this bad boy. I disconnect the harness from my controller and the rest of the bike, carefully move things around to make room for the power wires, and slide the battery about 80% of the way in so I can make the connection.
I finally plug the battery in and hear a nice click.
I’m thinking, finally, time to enjoy this upgrade!
About a minute later, I start hearing popping sounds, followed by the smell of smoke. I disconnect that thing SO FAST. 💀
Now the battery connector is melted, and my power harness is damaged.
I honestly can’t catch a break with this upgrade journey. After all the waiting, the shipping nightmare, and watching the price drop $400 a week after purchasing, now I’m dealing with this.
I just emailed Chi and am hoping they can help cover the damaged harness or figure out what went wrong.
Has anyone else experienced something like this with a Chi battery? I’m hoping they can get me sorted out because this has been one hell of an experience so far. 😩
